Obviously the end game of a DQ is to set up a triple threat, I'm saying how would you book a DQ finish at Fastlane that wouldn't absolutely suck and make no sense?
Lesnar comes out and destroys them both at FL. That work?

If they want to book a triple-threat match for Mania, then a no contest/draw is far more logical than a DQ finish.
draw lol. When was the last draw in WWE? I'd be interested to know. This isn't NWA in the 80s

Cringe. Nothing puts over two guys like letting themselves get counted out in their chance to win a spot in the ME of WM
I didn't say it was a good choice. Just the only way I can think of a draw occuring. I still say have Lesnar come out and beat the hell out of both of them for talking so much trash. No clear winner leads to a triple threat.

Not sure how I'd book it to really make sense while being a DQ, other than Kane/Show or someone else from The Authority coming out to interfere and cause the DQ.
Or heck, even Lesnar could come out and beat the living hell out of them, saying 'You both want a shot at this title? Fine, I'll destroy both of you at Mania.'

There are a lot of scenarios (not many good ones), but DB and Reigns getting pissed off for not being able to put one another out and starting to fight outside the ring and refusing to come back for the count of 10 is something I can also see happening.

The best solution to the match would probably be a clean finish, the better man wins and goes on to face Lesnar.
It's gonna come down to a lot of different people from backstage wanting different things regarding the finish/winner to this match, just like it was when deciding the Rumble winner.

lol this is the exact shit scenario I was waiting for someone to pitch. I'm sure that is what WWE will go with. puke

Anything but a clean finish would be cringeworthy. Hell, if I had to pick between a bullshit finish leading to a triple threat or DB going over cleanly, I'd much rather Bryan win. That's how stupid a bullshit finish would be

Who gives a shit? If you wanna do a three-way at Mania, you can't have either Bryan or Reigns just straight-up defeat the other in a clean victory, so a draw/no contest is certainly a logical direction to take.

Another way is to have one of them win by pinfall, but show that the person who got pinned had his foot on the ropes that went unseen by the referee, leading to him being given another opportunity by being inserted into the title match. But that wouldn't even be as reasonable as a no contest would be.

Reigns sucks but it's too late now, they had him win the Rumble and now they have to go all the way. Daniel Bryan has no business in main event this year.

You have mentioned a DQ finish literally every time the match is brought up. You didn't answer my question. How or more importantly why would the match end in a DQ? It would be corny and desperate as fuck. It needs to have a clean finish. And when I say it needs to have a clean finish, I mean Reigns needs to beat DB 1,2,3 in the middle of the ring with nobody else being involved.

I really have no opinion as to how the match may end. For once I am sort of keeping my big mouth shut and watching. I just wanted to mention, though, that a DQ ending would be corny and desperate as fuck, as you indicated, but WWE hardly has a track record for not taking the corny and desperate as fuck road a little too often.

No doubt, with WWE, if you want to try and figure out the finish, just envision the lamest idea you can come up with and there is a good chance that will be the ending. Like I said, I knew someone was going to pitch the "both guys get super pissed and ignore refs count for double count out!" and it is just so terrible the WWE will probably go with it.
