It doesn’t matter that it was said years ago, the fact that he said it is wrong. He should have never said it in the first place, who honestly uses that as a way to describe the attractiveness of another person and thinks it’s acceptable? He could have said, “oh she’s a good looking woman” like a normal person but he didn’t.
He was intentionally trying to be offense so that why he did it that way. Agreed he shouldn't have.
My biggest issue in the podcaster never did anything back then or when AEW hired him.
I stand by what I said and there is no changing my mind on the matter.
A close friend of mine was raped and taken advantage of before. When I was young I had to watch my Mother get physically abused by a man, and I didn’t see it but the same happened to my sister in both of her marriages before she passed away. I don’t take this stuff lightly, at all.
I perfectly respective your opinion on this matter. Only saying it is an opinion. Not even trying to change your mind.
Just stating there is no objectively wrong when it comes to jokes. That said, this joke completely missed the mark.
I've seen and witnessed things as a child most shouldn't. Seen the horrors of what drug addiction and dealing is really like.
It informs my opinion on how drug laws should work and why I'm as stringent as I am about it. Father's Day this year was tough.
That said, I do my best not enforce that belief on to others if they don't share my opinion. I also don't project that onto comedians.
All that being said, I'm sorry that happened to your friend and your mother and your sister. That sounds rough. I'm sorry.
