Matt vs Jeff

Hm..Jeff vs Matt could work if they do it well. Could imagine sth like Bret vs Owen, a feud which is on and off for several years.

Matt vs. Jeff feud will be boring if there isn't a Lita in the middle.

They both have improved in the ring and neither have improved in their mic skills, so it'll be a battle of whose promos are worse and who looks the least boring in the ring. Or just throw a ladder in the match and the fan boys will be satisfied.

Matt and Edge teaming up wouldn't sound that farfetched, Austin and McMahon teamed up with that tag team w/ Trips (the name of the team escapes me right now) but around that time I wasn't really watchin RAW so someone might have to school me on that there.

I think the fued has potential to be ok as long as they don't make the whole damn thing about Christian, like there is a "fourth" man to this whole story Jeff or some bullshit, just leave him out until they decide to debut him. Hopefully they realize that having one feud promote another one turns the feud into garbage. They better not make the same mistake again. Matt can talk averagely, so in that respect he won't make Jeff look bad like Edge did.

I think some of you guys are dismissing this too quickly. WWE has really proven itself lately with having great storylines. We've had Orton's awesome heel run, the Flair send-off, HBK/Jericho (which trailed off at the end, but the beginning was hot), HHH/Hardy/Koslov, Punk's gradual rise, Mizorrison's master handling, and a few more awesome feuds. They missed the target on Mysterio/Kane, but even that wasn't nearly as bad as some programs in previous years.

I'm VERY excited for this feud; Matt already looked like he was playing the part on Sunday. I could see them playing this off as Matt stopping Jeff before he went off the edge again, which would rule. With Jeff's crazy antics and the return of the face paint, I think it could work. Matt plays the Jericho-like heel where he thinks he is entirely right in his motives, and it could be great.

I really think the benefits of this feud could be extremely one sided. I think we've seen just about all Jeff Hardy is capable of...character wise..depth and mic skills.
We know Matt at one point in his career made an extremely entertaining heel during his Mattitude V1 era. This could really be his chance to prove that he can really make it as a serious heel in the business. Although Matt isn't really all that incredible I really believe he has worlds more potential than Jeff who although I hate to say it...seems to be the most successful spot monkey in the company.

I know there is little chance of it happening, but I hope this causes the WWE to realise that Matt is the better brother. Give him the title next time if they choose to go with a Hardy.

Not one person still clinging desperately to the idea of Cage being part of this storyline seems prepared to expain how they think it should happen.

Have it where Matt and Edge were in on this all alone(remember things can be forgotten in wrestling..We will have to forget these two hate each others guts) and Jeff is getting his butt kicked by them alot. This leads to a match being made for Smackdown. Matt and Edge vs Jeff and a ? partner. Alright well we fast forward to the match. Edge,Matt,and Jeff all in the ring. Jeff gets on the Mic and goes on about how his brother turned on him or something alone this lines. Then he gets to Edge and just idk goes on about something saying about how Edge has a brother and how would he like it if his brother did something like this to him(now keep in mind we gotta forget when Christian turned on Edge after Edge won King of The Ring that time) Edge says his brother would have do turn on him and how his brother is always there for him. Then Jeff is like are you sure and then Christian's music hits and he walks out. So they have there match. Now Edge probably lost the belt at No Way Out so we go on for awhile get to WM and have Matt and Edge vs Jeff and Christian in TLC Match. Yes a TLC Match. It could be good having the teams mixed up from how they were the other times. See this way Jeff and Christian are a team without anyone kissing anyone's ass. There just united against there brothers(Jeff vs Matt and Christian vs Edge).

As much as Jeff is poor on the mic, you need to give him SOMETHING to say. Everybody will already know what happened to Jeff as they saw it with their own eyes.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! You're right. People, I can pretty much guarantee that Edge will have nothing to do with the Hardy feud now. Edge's feud with HHH has already been put into gear (through Vickie). So claiming random storyline that make very little sense when it's almost 100% cut and dry as to where it's going to go is RIDICULOUS!
