Austin/Hart was a memorable match, but nothing to mark out over IMHO.

ECW revival was, and I wanted Taz to be more important to the story than Austins little bitch.

Went with the alliance but it would have been so much bigger if the WCW guys used weren't basically jobbers in comparison to the real WCW stars that weren't in the storyline.

No Sabu, No Bam Bam, No Corino, No Sandman, Taz and Raven were jobbers.

Basically bereft of any of their original stars.

I still enjoyed the whole thing.

I should have worded it differently they didn't have every single main star ECW had but they had more than enough despite how some of the guys were used in WWE. Guys like Tazz, Rhino, Credible and Raven were main guys in ECW and they had RVD apart of it too. Of course instead of using them how they were in ECW they still got used as jobbers basically. WCW whole different story not having a single important cog WCW had apart of it.

Despite the lack of star names in the ECW/WCW invasion, it was still a really cool moment. That gets my vote.

ugh, this is why I hate this tournament. The fucking Alliance angle, one of the worst and utterly mishandled angles in wrestling history, gets the nod over arguably the best match in the history of WWE? What the fuck is wrong with you people.

Alliance, even through they messed up things after that it was still a unique bit of television which I will never forget.

It's not the angle over the whole match though it's the one moment in the angle and the one moment in the match. You could argue that the angle was mishandled out the gate not being able to get bigger WCW names but it was before the angle got totally fucked and if you were a fan of WCW or mainly ECW in this case at the time it was a big mark out moment.
