really sucks that a combination of on/off booking, injuries and timing squandered some of his time in AEW. Felt like he never hit his peak. Not to put all the blame on Cody but I still think losing that feud and having his first loss so early completely took the mystique away

This is probably the only thing I will say about black WWE in this thread, but since Judgement Day is a thing in WWE I messed around with the idea that he would go back to WWE and join them and be the leader, and sort of recreate the ministry of darkness type thing. I even had comparisons/ideas with each member being a reputation of demon prince and such with Black as Lucifer himself. I actually thought of this concept way too much

Yeah, i'll agree with you because The House of Black/Kings of the Black Throne and all sound and seem super Demonic and all, but they held back on that concept a lot, which could be AEW being like nah dont do that or Black himself, I am not going to say one way or the other. I would say they fucked him over/booked him terrible, but in the same sense as other would use it. I would use it in more of the sense that they had chances to elevate him/HoB, but they didn't due to x, y, and z reasoning.

Shit that is really disappointing. Always liked him since he deputed on NXT and I really like his stable in AEW.
I would love him to come back in WWE later and lead Judgement Day like some people said here.
