Normally I'd say I can't wait to laugh at the complaints of Omega not going on last from people who don't watch lucha, but it might actually due to it being Andrade's debut.

Titles are secondary in Mexico, yes. In comparison to certain feuds/wrestlers and hair vs hair/mask, they almost always take precedence. Fenix held the title for over a year and defended it like twice lol

AAA has 8, CMLL has 28, and Zona 23, which a Hardcore Lucha promotion I watch, only has four, I think. So yeah it various from promotion to promotion.

4 always seems reasonable, 8 can be alright, but yeah 28 is way too many, but some of them are historic titles and such. I tired to get into "mainstream" Lucha, but after a week I was like alright Indy Lucha promotions it is.

Also, if I remember right, which I may not, Andrade vs Omega will be a 2 out of 3 Falls match since all Lucha title matches are contested under such.
