I would say him losing to Bobby by DQ seems like Brock politicking too if it wasn't still brought up by MVP/Bobby every week as if it's still leading to a rematch

I thought the build to Bob and Brock at Elimination Chamber was fun, and I think it would’ve been fun for Mania. I thought the match itself was fun for what it was despite the ending.

Omos and Brock won’t be anything special but I’m sure the build will be fun with Brock’s current character, and it’ll be a spectacle to see Brock and Omos toss each other around at Mania.

The whole booking situation is just odd. That’s my main complaint. Brock vs Omos might be okay but it just makes no sense from a booking standpoint. Brock and Bobby have been feuding for months and there’s been no resolution. The match at Chamber ended in DQ and Brock fucked Bobby up after. Now Bobby is just like “yeah whatever. Lemme just pretend that never happened”. In real life he would’ve challenged Brock to a rubber match first thing. Instead we randomly get Brock vs Omos which had no prior build or reason to happen. This isn’t how you book wrestling lmao.

TBH, I'm just over the take that "this must be Vince's thing". HHH is going to book some shitty stuff, it's just how wrestling works. All bookers do at times. As I've stated, you have to use Omos at some point, no point in not booking him if you're paying him. At least in this way, you book him in a manner where it's against someone that people will watch, hoping they see him get the snot beat out of him. And maybe, just maybe since it's on the show that everyone tunes in to if they at all watch the WWE product it might make one or two more fans of Omos (yes that would be 4 total fans).

As I've stated, you have to use Omos at some point, no point in not booking him if you're paying him. I don't disagree with you on HHH also being able to book shitty stuff, but a good portion of this sub is still firmly in the belief he is perfect and never books anything bad, hence if it's bad, gotta be Vince. Which I guess is a pretty good deflon defense. In this case it's more because it's random af on both match accounts and doesn't follow any logical plan. which is why in this particular case, it feels like a Vincism.

That being said, one needs to look no further than the booking of the women to see HHH is far, far from a perfect booker. Hopefully more than just a few of us will see this in good time.

I also think it's a little foolish of us to just discount giants and whatnot as not being attractions in the pro wrestling scene. People like Omos and like Santam Singh and the like enamor people. A kid that sees a person who towers over another grown adult they are amazed by it. Despite what the hell they can do in that ring. Andre the Giant didn't do shi in the ring but he was a huge deal back when he was alive and YES it was back in the 80s but he would have still been a big deal now in pro wrestling. Aside from that, if a kid sees a man the size of these giants get beat by someone that they tower over they're even more amazed.

This might be random (which yes, but it still has attachments to Bobby) but it still isn't something I would label as being bad booking for WM.

I dont think the problem is people don't like Giants, is that your putting one of you biggest draws in Brock vs him on the biggest show of the year. That's throwaway booking, you could do that match on RAW

It's like you said, you have like Kenny Omega only wrestle 4-6 times a year on ppv and you make him go vs Satnam Singh at All Out. Usually, you don't waste your big stars on these types of throwaway matches on ppv.

And yeah I understand your other points, but none of those apply to me or make me want to watch, so I guess they are not relevant (to me)
