And that match go to the point where it was a Five count pin. You couldn’t win by submission after you got a five count the guy had to get up before 10 to continue the match. So it was basically a Five count Texas death match.

I remember them doing that on Smackdown in 2003 where Undertaker was against Big Show I believe and if he won he got any match he wanted and every time he thought he won Paul Heyman changed the rules until Taker won and instead of Brock for the title he chose Vince for that Buried Alive match

Yep. And also 2001 in that Jericho and Regal match. Queen of Dutchess rules or something.

Personally I just think it makes Cody more of a geek that he needs old legends to help him out to win rather than guys that he actually is aligned with: Sami, Jey, KO, etc.
