I mean shit the last title AJ held a title was 2021 with fucking OMOS. hasnt held a single title since 2020. lets also not pretend he's a paragon of the main event either these days, as much as hes awesome

it is, but it was a meaningless battle royal with 0 stakes attached. let's not pretend this thing mattered whatsoever just because LA Knight won lol
Well yeah…we’ll forget the shit in a month. Same way with the Andre.

Couldn’t tell you who won that shit this year

But working with Miz or Ziggler or Corbin is like a litmus test.

You can’t work with them/get over with them. You’re not getting over with anybody.

So The Miz shit, I’m not really thinking about. They probably do a one shot on TV. It’s what Knight does after Miz that probably tells you his direction
respectfully, this is a cope out for me. LA Knight does not need to prove himself vs The Miz, he's a 40+ year old thats mega over. theres no test needed, it's just WWE giving him something because they have no real plans to push him as a main eventer, ever. Sure I could be wrong, but I agree with the poster above, history has been pretty consistent for this in WWE and I don't see it changing.

I think saying “Ever” is a strong word.

We literally don’t know. DDP wasn’t supposed to be a World Champion cause he was old. I can see LA Knight with Seth’s belt at some point

I mean it's just an opinion, and ofc I could be wrong.

I mean I wouldn’t really write off LA Knight’s push yet. They’re not booking him to be a straight up jobber or loser like they’ve done with other superstars when they try to kill their momentum. They’re still giving him good tv time and letting him work a real feud. I’m not saying they won’t fuck him up in the future but as for now, I think he’s fine.

oh I think he is fine as well, but the topic of discussion (for me) was people that deserved a main event push for being over as fuck but never got one. I think this will be the same. Rusev Day got a minor push too but it never eventually led to any big moment. I see this, currently, as the same trajectory.

No I meant like WWE allowed her to run with an idea and gave her a push for a gimmick she came up with. She wanted to get herself over and WWE allowed it except that she didn’t actually get over :lol

No Nikki wasn’t over…

The woman that plays Nikki Cross/Nikki ASH had an idea. It didn’t work. Was it a bad idea by the person? Was it bad booking?
