The rumble isn’t necessary for his story. Seth and Punk have heat going back a long time. Cody needed a guarantee that Roman would take his challenge.

Both matches are happening.

The finish was great, though. Punk got cocky and heelish, insulted Dusty and Cody said fuck you.

As a Punk fan, I still loved it. Great storytelling.
