I don't think Cena beating Cody at Mania is necessarily the right move but I think all things considered, Cena winning is and if it's against Cody he's just the guy that has to lose the belt then for this story that's more important to me

to me if the plan is for him to set the record and get a run, it would be odd to do it anywhere else. and the gunther title dont count lets be honest so it has to be this one.

that was the downside of dethroning roman is the person had to keep it for awhile to not look like a chump. I agree tho if he lost it now I don't think anyone would bat an eye.

I think the crowd would be more likely to turn on Cody if he won too. It's just the climate rn for whatever reason, we want to see the old guys get one last respectable run of success. Worked for Muta, Sting, and Danielson already.
