Yeah I feel like that was the intention too, assuming they knew Sami would be a future Gunther challenger. Not exactly needed bc Sami beating Gunther already happened at Mania but I think it still helps. Sami isn't a loser who can only win when he's crazy motivated lol

WWE Raw on USA Network
Mon, Sep. 23, 2024: 8:00 to 11:00 pm
1,339,000 viewers (P2+)
P18-49 rating: 0.43

Reported earlier by Programming Insider.

Competition note: Raw was #2 on cable in P18-49, only behind the Bills vs. Jaguars game on ESPN, averaging 6.4 million viewers and a 2.00 P18-49 rating. A second Monday Night Football game, Commanders vs. Bengals, also aired on ABC, averaging 13.2 million viewers and 3.37 P18-49 rating.

With the exception of the “Best of” episodes that aired late in December 2023 and December 2022, this was the second-lowest total viewership for Raw in the history of the program, ahead of the Sept. 18, 2023 episode that averaged 1,331,000. However, despite that this wasn’t close to a similar low point for P18-49. There have been 30 Raw episodes with lower P18-49 viewership.

P2+ comparisons:
  • This episode vs. last week (1,509,000): -11%
  • This episode vs. trailing four weeks (1,598,000): -16%
  • Current 2024-Q3 P2+ average (1,668,000) vs. 2023-Q3 (1,680,000): -1%
  • Current Sep 2024 P2+ average (1,484,000) vs. Sep 2023 (1,463,000): +1%
