You know what this show is done it. It sold me. I want to see Cody Rhodes and CM punk for the dirty title. Drew McIntyre and Roman reigns and just a grudge match, Seth taking on Gunther for the world title and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne one last time.

I just got literal goosebumps. That final face-to-face with Cody and punk already has me.

Ummm was this Cody/Punk promo supposed to actually air? And why does Cody seem concussed?

It did feel like it wasn’t supposed to be aired tbh. I thought the show was over after Sami and Drew but I saw there was some time left after that so I fast forwarded and saw that promo so I had to go back lol.

That promo was great though and has me believing that Punk may actually win the rumble now.

That promo exchange was 100% the closing segment of the show. Not only did it go really long, but there was very much meat to the point of it and it seems to be setting up more potential hints of what they plan to do after the royal rumble and the way they zoomed in on the two of them nose to nose at the very end of it was very intentional.

The final segment honestly has me so hyped for the potential of that program.

As for Cody I did think it was a little weird at first but then when I realized what he was going for, I thought it was brilliant. Cody is a man that is mentally fried from all of his friends one by one betraying him because they want a shot of his title. Punk, laid it out when he said the head that’s heaviest is the one that wears the crown.

I do think you're right, the weirdest part was the state of Georgia graphic before the video game commercial which made me think they meant to end it then but I don't think they actually did, I just think something weird happened there

It was awkward but I do think it was mostly if not all exactly as planned looking back

Not only am I even more staunch in my belief that punk has to win the Royal rumble but I think he’s going for Cody and that’s what I want him to do. As much as I think the Roman match would be good. I think him and Cody is an all time.

I think they set up Drew and Roman for wrestlemania after tonight. As well as Seth and Gunther.
