You really gotta feel for buff daddy who lost an entire career in WWE because for some reason Vince McMahon didn’t like superstars talking to the camera and here we are in 2025 and seemingly everyone and their mother now will talk directly to the camera.

I ain’t complaining though. I love it when a wrestler talks to the camera.

I thought that was because he had a shit match with Booker and then had Judy call him out of work?

It was a mixture of things, but before they went out for their match, he was pulled aside. Specifically told he couldn’t do most of the things that got him over in WCW which was including talking to the camera during his entrance talking to the camera during his match after he would do spots and he couldn’t wear his flamboyant top hat. He basically got sabotaged five minutes before that match so of course they were gonna have a terrible match when he couldn’t do anything that he’s normally used to doing.

I don’t buy the Mom story though. I think that was just Jim Ross trying to cover his ass because he fired a dude after only one match on TV.
