Competition note: The Browns vs. Broncos game on ESPN averaged 11,871,000 viewers and a 3.15 P18-49 rating. Other than the Monday Night Football game and its pre-game show, Raw led on cable in P18-49 in primetime, ahead of the Fox News lineup.

2- really smart to go commercial free early on
3 - I cannot overstate how great removing hour 3 has been fr RAWS ratings

Significant boost is that, i'd like to think it's down to the New Day stuff and nothing from Survivor Series given the biggest talking points from that are on the SmackDown side really.

Its also a fairly recently pattern that Meltzer pointed out yesterday that I actually noticed first but don't remember if I said it when I noticed a couple weeks ago lol but basically if Raw or SmackDown are down for a notable reason like holidays or big sports, the next show usually gets a bump too, which logically makes sense bc it's like they missed Raw so they wanna make sure they aren't too behind on WWE even with a brand split being a thing

Raw got a bump after the Tyson fight hurt SmackDown was when I think I noticed it had been a pattern

Apparently the New Day segment itself did really well too tho even after commercials had started so you can probs give them a lot of credit. Punk segment was the biggest I think tho

I think even your fans that don’t watch weekly wanted to see what was going to happen with the New Day. That or the Sami/Punk/Rollins segment had to be the highest.

Commercial free typically helps if I remember correctly.

Something to factor in also was that the MNF game wasn’t the best on paper. It turned out to be an entertaining game but Denver/Cleveland isn’t exactly a game people are going to flock to
