Also the one thing that got me into WWE and that I still care a lot about is theme songs and the new ones for NXT and Smackdown are terrible as they don't hype up the shows at all IMO. Not saying we need Slipknot in the NXT intro but I'd like a song that has some level of energy that mumble rap doesn't.

I see what you mean, but also I think it changes depending on your age and what you're looking for in the shows. I don't care about matches as much as I used to, there are people I completely skip nowadays (don't think I have seen a full Miz match in years), I'm even drifting away from AEW this year, I see WWE more like a series now and I care more about the way it looks and the stories than what happens in the matches unlike 15 years ago when I got into wrestling.

see I am the other way, I prefer matches more than when I was a kid and could not appreciate them as much. for my tastes wwe stretches their stories too long and I could not give a single shit about stuff like rhea liv love triangles. lots of ppl do like that stuff tho, but def not for me.

a good theme song should get you hype and feel violent I agree

I’m a rap guy but not much of a Lil Wayne fan but the song isn’t bad imo. I’m always down for more rap/hip hop representation in wrestling.

Fun show overall, I thought Rox and Guilia was quite good and I’m happy to see Cora back. Main event and Wes vs Wentz was very good too stuff too.

Idk about years but their highest rated program this year was a .15 in the demo which was well below the NXT USA average

That's a hell of a number. Fully expect the show to return to the 700s within the next 2 weeks, but that's a good start for them

Yeah I expect they'll basically be doing the same as they were on USA or if it's higher it's bc the product just stays hotter. I think USA is going to see a swift downturn after they lose Raw tho so in a year this move might be a lot better for NXT in hindsight

Definitely a big win for CW because their normal rating for their weekly programing over the last couple years has been like a 0.06 at the highest.

Alvarez is saying people at WWE were actually disappointed bc they had to rush the ending with the hard CW cutoff but he didn't notice and I didn't either, I thought it was timed well but that might be why the ending was a little flat
