Garbage, really. You can turn it any way you want, the WWE looks like shit in this whole story.
Either you have a company, who doesn't have a great track record when it comes to their releases (the why, the how etc), planned and executed an angle based on a firing of one of the most beloved talents on their Roster, relatively shortly after releasing a lot of other talent... or you have a company that wanted to release said worker, did it, then immediately crumbled under fan pressure and now gives that worker an immediate, ungenuine push (maybe even towards a big Title match or something along those lines) just to soothe things over with the fans (who wouldn't have cared about it anymore anyways in a couple of months).
...and either way, most people gonna just forgive and forget in no time, whichever shit thing they just pulled off.
