Rollins cashing in on Cena would be fine but I'm struggling to see the vision there for the rest of the year too but I'd assume there was a plan at least. I think everyone leaned into it and it was more of an internal campaign for months now to keep his job when they found out (going by the Cena report, assuming he wasn't the only one that knew truth's contract was coming up) and then once it became public and fans joined in, the original goal succeeded in just a messier way. But the point of those that were trying was to always show corporate he was still worth it, probably felt real vindicated when the initial release reaction started

Yeah it just doesn't fit in for me mentally with anything I think, like SummerSlam and stuff is coming up, I just can't see Cena losing before then. I think Seth will hold the case for awhile too

I have Punk beating Cena on his last night thus not having to be at the Saudi Rumble, then can do whatever at Mania. I just don't know where I fit Cody into all this since he would be the obvious choice to get revenge on Cena.

That was always my problem with Cena winning at Mania. Cody winning it back feels like the logical outcome but it's also boring and I don't care about that match again

Cody did say something somewhere about him not chasing that rematch so maybe they don't even do it afterall who knows, though I highly doubt it.

I would prefer if they do Cody/Cena 2 it is Non-Title. Hell it might end up being Cena's last match.
