I’m totally fine with him challenging at Mania. Should be a banger ass match.

I would actually love to see the desperation angle play out.

Like its September or October and he either hasn’t gotten a shot or he had a shot and lost.

So he spends the last 2/3 months trying to figure out a way to get back into the title picture

I really wouldn't have minded if he won the chamber if he just qualified with a singles match first lol I think the desperation angle could be fun but I'm not married to it. I just think he needs to get over his first hurdle of a regular singles match first lol

But… you do have time? what do you mean you don’t have time? He can maybe fight lower card guy, or god forbid maybe Logan Paul at Mania, maybe win that and slowly build up a little bit of momentum. Maybe he can win KOTR even to get the title shot at SummerSlam. There’s plenty of time to tell a good story.

I will say if Cena is in any sort of non title match at Mania, that's your must win. Losing at Mania without even any stakes would just make him seem way too washed

The whole reason I keep gravitating back to him and Logan at Mania is cause that gives him the perfect opportunity to break his losing streak

They do a lot of misdirection nowadays to setup matches for the future that they may or may not do which is pretty smart so I'm still not sure, they both have multiple options for Mania and if it's not each other won't feel weird bc it could be later and if it never happens isn't exactly a "missed opportunity" at least to me bc I don't care to see

Yeah, I honestly don’t wanna see it either, but I’m sure it happens at some point. I’m just trying to think if not Cena or Punk taking on Cody at Mania, who it could possibly be. Maybe Seth, maybe Finn, depending on which one of them is who wins next Monday. Not really sure.

I'm not crazy high on the Cena/Cody match for the reasons I've said before but I keep defaulting to it bc honestly the match I want to see the most is Punk vs Reigns vs Rollins and that just leaves Cody out
