I wouldn’t mind seeing Cena work for it and grow more desperate for that first win in however many years. I can see Logan screwing him over in the Chamber and that leading to them at Mania with Cena getting a win and that’ll give him the confidence to go after the title again.

I just don’t agree it HAS to be a championship match. He definitely shouldn’t win it yet if so. Which I know you didn’t say he has to win it. I’m just thinking from a story perspective. You get a little bit more out of him chasing that 17th in his last year. The back half of the year is when he should win it, and be defending it.

I'm not crazy high on the Cena/Cody match for the reasons I've said before but I keep defaulting to it bc honestly the match I want to see the most is Punk vs Reigns vs Rollins and that just leaves Cody out
