Re: Official Soccer (Football) Discussion Thread

If France and Italy are both out, will this be the first WC ever where both the previous years' finalists don't make it out of the group stages?

The European teams flat out suck. France and Italy are out. Germany and England have work to do. Netherlands are up in the next hour.

Re: Official Soccer (Football) Discussion Thread

I can't believe we have been waiting for a free kick goal for the whole competition and then we get two amazing free kick goals in a row. I don't care what the commentators say about Sorenson being in a bad position, that first free kick was awesome and the second was just as good if not better.

Looks like England are gonna have to go the hard way round things with Germany in the last 16 and the IF we win that we have either Mexico or Argentina, and then I think we have a possibilty have having Spain in the semis and then Brazil in the final, that is possible so we have who in my opinion are the top 3 or 4 teams in the world (not sure bout Germany being in the top 4 but.......). So if we're gonna win this thing nobody can say we don't deserve it.

GO HOME ITALY!

Dirty playing in 2006, and now they're packing bags. Good.
