I think both pieces are unique concepts that weren't executed perfectly.
Defiant: It looks very professional and sleek. I personally love the color choice, the text, and the addition of the light source. My major problem with it is that the render on the left just doesn't really blend well with the picture on the right. The transition is too sudden.
Prodigy: Definitely the better and more unique of the two concepts; The effects around Sheamus are awesome but would definitely pop more if they were brighter. Text also needs to be brightened or at least, a more vibrant color because it blends in too much with the piece. The major problem here is the Sheamus render- as a focal point, it just looks far too small, the lighting around it blurs him too much, and the coloring isn't attractive. I really think this piece has potential to be awesome, but the focal point is just unappealing unfortunately.
My vote goes to Defiant by a hair.
