One of the best in-ring debuts I can remember. There were a few sloppy moments, but Chavo and Rey just click really well, and their contrast make for a solid match which did a good job in putting Rey over. The crowd were really into it too which always helps. ***
Thought I'd up load the lead up to the match and promos too. Two of the best ever. Love how Flair heels it up and yet puts over the territory too. The hook at the end teasing the next time he returns to Memphis is great work too. Really perfect booking. These two could have drawn some major bucks if they'd been programmed together in either WWF or NWA/WCW during their primes. ***1/2
There's been many reasons over the years to say "Fuck Missy" (see what I did there) but her line about Sting being every woman's nightmare is just so wrong And she ruins the whole match, besides the bit where she says "get me the popcorn" Not that it was much of a match anyway... *1/2
Decent match. One of Z-Man's better in singles, the finish with The Hammer was quite well handled too. Think Taylor Made Man might be my favourite Taylor character. ***
Say what you will about 1992 for Wrestling overall, but for tag wrestling it was pretty damn hot at least in WCW. These guys never had bad matches. Added Hayes on the outside was interesting too. JR does a awesome job in telling the story. Good times. ****
Hercules really was an underrated performer IMO. This match not much to write home about, but Martel heels it up nicely, and they told a solid story in the time they were given. Herc actually got over to a decent level as a face. Should have stayed a singles guy. **
Not a patch on their Wrestlewar match. The time limit draw doesn't make much sense since WCW at the time were trying to build Pillman up in the heel role (Zenk wasn't doing anything). How funny Z-Man during his ring entrance was acting just as heelish as Pillman. But then maybe that's just who Tom is **1/2
Really enjoyable big man power man tag action. The draw makes sense, though the finish doesn't make complete sense, as the ref was already going to DQ the Towers before Smash did what he did. Cool old school match anyway ***
