WCW Starrcade 1990 - The Great Muta & Mr. Saito vs The Royal Family

The Royal Family consists of Jacko (Yes there's an "o") Victory & Rip Morgan. Another pretty terrible match that neither me nor the crowd was into, the only time they popped was when Muta did something and that's because they actually knew who he was. Compared to the other two tournament matches, this one wasn't too bad though. I'm disappointed I didn't see a Saito Suplex from the man himself and the finish was sketchy.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - Danny Johnson & Troy Montour vs Victor Zangiev & Salman Hashimikov

No idea who either of these four are and I didn't care for the match at all. This tournament was a terrible idea to do on your biggest PPV of the year. Zangiev actually looked alright here, but I'm just thankful this didn't go longer than 3 minutes.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - Konan & Rey Misteric vs The Steiner Brothers

Ugh, this was bad too, but shorter. Konan no-sold the Steiner's double team bulldog at one point, that was hilarious. This tournament and the main event that I already know is terrible has got to make this one of the worst Starrcades ever.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - The Great Muta & Mr. Saito vs Victor Zangiev & Salman Hashimikov

Not bad at all, best tournament match so far. These Russians are some real good mat wrestlers, that's all they do, but they do it well.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - NWA United States Championship Texas Lariat Match: Lex Luger vs Stan Hansen (c)

Great brawl here, and they used the rope fairly well throughout. Very fun to watch, first good match I'd say since the opener. Ending was stupid though with a second ref coming out and saying Hansen won only for the first ref to get up and say he saw Luger win when he was knocked out. Crowd got hot when Luger was announced as the real winner though.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - NWA World Tag Team Championship Street Fight: Doom (c) vs Arn Anderson & Barry Windham

This was a BRAWL! For 7 and a half minutes these guys just killed each other, very fun to watch though it kinda' stalled some at times. I'm begging for there to be a good match without a bad finish on this card though. It was a no contest because a member of each team got pinned at the same time.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - The Great Muta & Mr. Saito vs The Steiner Brothers

This was pretty good, really liked this. Easily the best of these tournament matches tonight, and the only good one at that. First match of the night not to have a weird, weak, or bad ending as well. They said this was for the International Tag Team Titles before the match started, but all the Steiners got was a trophy.

ROH Fifth Year Festival: Philadelphia - The Briscoe Brothers. vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico

If i remember correctly this is the frist time Steen and Generico are tagging in ROH, Steen isn't in full on Prick mode yet but Generico is the fun loving face. If you know me you know I loved this feud with all it's crazy moves and No-Sell. And this was an GOOD way to kick start this feud. But as much as i enjoyed this match it doesn't hold up like it did back in '07. The did some great double team moves but they had quite a few dead spots as well. ***1/2 It’s a great spotfeast match at the end that played up both teams’ strengths so if your a fan of that you'll enjoy this.

WCW Starrcade 1990 - NWA World Heavyweight Championship Mask vs Title: The Black Scorpion vs Sting (c)

This is not the way to end your biggest PPV of the year at all, but this was probably the best thing to come out of the horrible Black Scorpion angle. Match wasn't good at all, which I attribute mainly Flair having to wrestle a completely different style than he normally would so people wouldn't know who he was. This just drug and drug and drug, felt like it lasted forever before it finally ended.

ROH Fighting Spirit - Jay Briscoe & Erick Stevens vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico

Mark was suppose to be in this match but the night before he attempted to kill himself by doing a shooting star to the outside, he didn't do the full rotation and landed on the top of his head and neck. But enough about that lets get to this and this is fucking AMAZING, SERIOUSLY. This has some of the greatest drama and Intensity in a match I've seen. I don't wanna spoil it but i have to so 3/4 way through the match the NRC come down and attack Stevens so that leaves Jay in a 2-on-1 match which lasted for quite some time, anyway Mark comes rushing to the ring baring in mind the guy has a concussion but he doesn't give a fuck and they tear down the house. This is what’s so genius about ROH. Fans really do care about the safety and well-being of the wrestlers. They believed Mark was seriously injured, so were going absolutely nuts each time he was dropped on his head and getting back to his feet. ****

ROH Death Before Dishonor V Night 1 - Boston Street Fight: The Briscoe Brothers vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico

This was boarderline disturbing to watch and might even be as sick as Ladder War. Just bell-to-bell brawling with sickning bumps these guys just went crazy and really tried to shorten the careers of everyone involved. ****1/2

ROH Man Up 2007 - ROH World Tag Titles, Ladder War: The Briscoe Brothers. vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico

If your a fan of VIOLENCE and those TLC matches in 2000/2001 then this is for you. I always remembered it from being violent and crazy, but it was even more violent and crazy then i remembered. Some of those bumps were absolutely shocking. "REAL HOLY SHIT!!!!!" Moments. This had a lot of spots, but they weren't just thrown out there randomly it was logical that they’d go balls to the wall given the hatred between the two teams, but the match flowed tremendously well. ****3/4 I know the TLC matches are legendary because they broke new ground, but I think this actually topped the violence of even those. Gabe later revealed that he got a LOT of heat from the locker room for booking this match, leaving these four guys with little choice but to go out there and almost kill themselves to provide a fitting end that was becoming of both their epic feud and the legacy of the ladder match. P.S. They didn't show the hanging.

ROH Honor Nation - ROH World Title: Takeshi Morishima vs. Kevin Steen

Very good hard-hitting match. I think this was the first time i thought he could really be one of the top players in ROH. To this point Steen was a tags and brawls guy, but this was a well-built wrestling match. It's just a shame Morishima only sold the leg when Steen worked on it, If only he would of sold it more the would've made this match even better. ***1/2

ROH Vendetta 2005 - ROH World Title: Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong

These two wrestled a week before this in a underrated match, in Connecticut i think the show was called "This Means War" i should really watch that match again. Anyway if i remember in that match they started off with some respectful wrestling but by the end they were stiffing the fuck out of each other. As much as i would love to do the play-by-play for this i can't because this is 50 Minutes of pure AMAZINGNESS, AND EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH. These two kept a intensity and crazy pace from bell-to-bell, I really enjoyed the story with Danielson again looking to dominate the challenger, but Strong never truly staying down. The match was continually Dragon on offence for a few minutes before Roderick fired back with a flurry that Danielson has never seen and some of the sounds of the hits Roddy put on Danielson is cringe worthy good. But Danielson would weather that storm and find a way to get full control again. I loved that the intensity never died down which was good because it felt like these two truly hated each other e.g. every spitting, pokes to the eye, slaps, chop looked worse then the one before. ****3/4 Will never get boring. EVER!!!!!!

WWF Royal Rumble 1991 - The Orient Express vs The Rockers

Very good match with some great exchanges between Michaels and the two Orients. Jannetty got an awesome hot tag towards the end and this was just almost nonstop action for 20+ minutes.

Ring of Honor Wrestling (7/28/12) - Rhino vs Rocco Abruzzi

Just a short squash here, nothing really to talk about other than Abruzzi selling the Gore horribly.

Ring of Honor Wrestling (7/28/12) - Mike Sydal vs Tommaso Ciampa

Pretty good match here for it to have been so short. Sydal looked good the couple times he got some offense in, but this was all about Ciampa looking like a beast.
