(c) Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi. Battle in the Valley. Tanahashi takes control with a wristlock. As Okada runs off the ropes, Tanahashi catches him with an armdrag and keeps him grounded with an armbar. Okada Irish whips Tanahashi, softly, against the turnbuckles. Tanahashi catches a running Okada with a back elbow and follows it up with a cross body off the second turnbuckles. Tanahashi scoop slams Okada and connects with a Swanton bomb off the second turnbuckle. Tanahashi with a short dropkick to Okada's leg. Okada tries a boot, but Tanahashi counters with a dragon screw leg whip.
Okada connects with his flying elbow, but it wasn't as pinpoint as he would've liked it because Tanahashi was lifting his legs. Okada sets him up for a Rainmaker but Tanahashi counters with a full nelson, converting it into a German suplex. Okada tries his Rainmaker, once again, but Tanahashi kicks him in his left knee. Okada keeps Tanahashi locked in a wristlock and tries another Rainmaker but Tanahashi counters with a sling blade. Okada executes an emerald flowsion and finally puts him away with a Rainmaker.
Tanahashi was the ring general and, though he lost, he showed Okada was getting predictable.
