Royal Rumble 2013 is really good. Even though Cena winning was very obvious and not something I was raring to see at the time, I think the match itself is a really good one. Plenty of fun spots and moments, a good amount of talent in it. I love Jericho's performance especially and he I think deserved to win a Rumble, especially around this time of his career for me, 2012 seemed fitting as well. It has easily one of my favourite opening moments with Jericho & Ziggler, still gives me absolute chills watching it. Just a very fun Rumble that would be even more legendary & memorable had they done a first time winner.

royal-rumble-2007-cena-vs-umaga-1.jpg

Cena vs Umaga from Rumble 2007. One of those feuds/match-ups on paper you probably wouldn't have expected to bang as much as it did. Both guys just worked off each other so perfectly, and when Cena wants to he can really tap in to the more hardcore/violent style of wrestling you wouldn't expect from him. Umaga really brought out an entirely new side of him. Just an amazing match, one of the best in 2007. So many awesome visuals and drama.

Jim Ross had to spoil the ending of this match. "He wasn't the REAL Sting! He looks like Barry Windham."

(c) FTR vs. Bishamon--Hirooki Goto & Yoshi Hashi for FTR's tag titles . Wrestle Kingdom 17. Goto & Hashi knocks Dax Harwood down with a double shoulder block. Goto hiptosses Hashi onto a fallen Harwood. FTR, in respect to Power & Glory, execute the super-plex and Frog Splash combo on Goto. Goto is legit bleeding out of his mouth. It took him awhile to get up.

Hashi karate kicks Cash Wheeler. Dax irish whips Hashi for a body drop attempt, but Hashi easily counters with a swinging neckbreaker. FTR executes the Big Rig on Goto but Hashi stops the pin. Yoshi Hashi suplexes Cash over the top rope but Hashi got the worst of it as he banged his foot against the steel rails. Dax and Harwood spike piledrives Hashi but Goto rushes in to make the save. Goto clotheslines Dax to the back of his head and Hashi stuns him with a thrust kick. Bishamon puts Dax away with their Shoto finisher to win the titles.

Surprising it was only ten minutes long. It felt longer as there were a lot of high-octane moves throughout. After it was over, both teams shook hands in a sign of sportsmanship.

The Rockers vs. Power & Glory w/Slick. Wrestle Fest '91. Paul Roma carried the match. Hercules would do a few power moves and tag out. He also looked a bit out-of-shape. The finish comes when The Rockers double suplexes Roma. They both perch the top for a high-flying move. Slick grabs Shawn's leg. Jannetty leaves the ring to chase Slick outside and fails to beat the ref's count. Power & Glory win by count-out.

Davey Boy Smith vs. Haku. Wrestle Fest '91. It starts off as a scientific match. Haku puts him in a wristlock. Davey rolls, flips to break the hold and puts Hake in a wristlock. Haku knocks Smith down with a shoulderblock. Smith retaliates with a standing dropkick. Haku gets out of the ring to take a breather. Smith irish whips him against the turnbuckles and locks in a sleeper. Smith puts him in an armbar, but Haku counters with stiff chops to his thighs. Haku with a perfectly done piledriver on Davey in the center of the ring. Haku Irish whips Davey Boy and locks in a sleeper. They engage in a battle of headbutts, with Haku winning out. Haku whips Smith to the ropes, but he keeps his guard down for a second, which gives Davey Boy enough time to leg scissors his arms and beat him with a Crucifix pin.

Lord Alfred Hayes said David Boy and Haku played rugby in their youth. Insightful commentary.
