Working my way through Skyrim.....I say that with a sad, nervous laugh. There's no way I'm ever beating this game. None. I'm just not good enough at RPG's. Not in the sense that I'm helpless and dying left and right, combat is fine so far, but I'm no good at paying attention to the....billions of different level up things in the game, what I need and when, etc. It's probably bigger than any other game I've ever played too.

Right now I'm at the mage's college, learning a few spells. So far I'd say the game is good. I'm not addicted to it as many others seem to be, the story, so far, isn't as compelling as other games, though it's not bad. It's kinda just...there. I definately prefer the experience of games like Uncharted 3 or Arkham City, they're more my style, but this is still good. It's me that's not very good, primarily. Perhaps I would appreciate it more if I was a world class RPG player, but alas I'm not.

I'm not really THAT far into it, but I wouldn't think about giving it GOTY, that's still Uncharted 3, without question. For one thing, the fact that your character doesn't talk is extremely amatuerish. I know it's multiple choice, but come on, if Mass Effect can make it work, so can you.

Skyrim is like 300 hours of game play right? i picked this up last night at the midnight release. While waiting i got Modern warfare 3 as well. But i haven't played Skyrim yet, thanks for a little review of the game before i actually get into it.

It's something crazy like that, yeah.

I'm probably not the best person to listen to, as I'm not an RPG player, but whatever. I'm enjoying the game more the farther I get into it. I killed my first dragon not too long ago. Now I've got a bunch of quests to do, including seeing the Greybeards, which were mentioned a lot in Skyrim previews. They've mastered The Voice, which are the dragon shouts. Looking forward to meeting them.

I just bought Forza Motorsport: 4 and Batman: Arkham City today and I am planning on gaming it up sometime soon.

I'm playing Batman: Arkham City and it is WAY better than Arkham Asylum. So much funner, I recommend this game for people that enjoyed Asylum or are fans of Batman.
