Firstly, to TDK's comment that Airfixx quoted:
Dude, honestly, if you didn't know it was PG or whatever, would you know the difference? Raw is the same now, in terms of storyline quality, edginess, and all that, as it was in 2006. The only thing difference is less swearing.
Trust me, I'm the last one who would like "kid friendly" stuff, but how can you say this really is? A guy punting a boss in the head? A man RKOing a woman?
The fact is, yes, it has been "toned down" a bit, but I don't see it taking away from the progrm that much.
It'll be more attitudeish later anyways, is a few eyars. WWE is just trying to rebuild its audience, by attracting new fans (younger), because the old ones have pretty much moved on 9which is why ratings were down for like all of 2007). So they have to gain new fans, and the way to do that is get young fans. In a few years, once those fans are older, wwe will probably shift to more edgy material.
As for now though, it doesn't really both me.
I really enjoyed Raw last night.
Edge's promo was good, and it was good seeing him on Raw.
The matches, except the Kane one, were all pretty good, and so were the promos. I have to agree with noumenon though... Cena is getting fucking cheesy as hell.
But pretty solid Raw, with a few twists, and I enjoyed HHH showing up at the end.
