Yeah, I've been to Vegas. In fact, I live here. Porkchop is correct.

For an excellent stay at a cheap price, I suggest staying at The M. The hotel rooms are pretty phenomenal with some of the best views you can get at a hotel in Vegas. As for how much you should bring for 3 days, as much as you can bring. Don't want you to come here with a few bucks and then leave broke. That happens a lot. If you have, I would say a few hundred bucks is perfect. Maybe $400. Only if you're able to, of course. If that's just extra money. For gambling, going out for a nice dinner. All of that good stuff. I hope you have a great time here. Vegas will treat you right.

Also, if you just want a nice night out on the town, I recommend Town Square. Wonderful place with a shit ton of stores and its got a very nice movie theater as well.

Plus everything in Vegas is cheaper during the week... Fri, Sat, and Sunday everything costs more! Shows, clubs, drinks, it's so much cheaper during the week... The M. is awesome, but if you look online you can get killer rooms for cheap pretty much anywhere you want, $400 is about right, with gambling, makes it a nice trip so you can take in a lot of stuff, U mean you can kill so much time just going to some of the Casino's and the sites within... Some of the themes are really cool,, killer shops.

Yeah, you can book way more reasonable rooms through certain travel sites... way cheaper than that and in the same hotel

as soon as I have internet back properly, I'll find you a link to the hotel I stayed. Only 3 star, but stilll very impressive with great facilities and pretty cheap. You'd need a taxi to the strip, but the ride's only about 5 minutes.

as for money, I walked in with $500 and left with $300 after two days but so take that for what you will.

I went to Vegas a few summers ago for UFC 100 and their expo...amazing time. I took about 300 with me, won a couple hundred at the casino, then came back with 150 in my pocket still, so it really depends on what you plan to do while you are there. I had a blast when I went, but I didn't exactly do anything spectacular when it came to clubs and eating, I stayed pretty basic.

I heard that's not true anymore

Nah it is. If you gamble at slot machines, you can get drinks for free from the cocktail waitress that comes around but you just have to tip her. I usually give 3 or 4 bucks lol

I went to Vegas 2 years during the summer, and it was pretty dang hot out. It felt like I was walking inside of an oven whenever I stepped outside.

I'm not much of a gambler, but I can also attest to the fact that they serve you free drinks when you are at a slot machine. One of the people that I was with was gambling, and I was just standing nearby watching her play when the waitress came over and gave some free Bud Light Limes. I already had a few drinks before that, so needless to say I was getting a pretty decent buzz. One shot of Patrone, and I was gone though.

Anyways, yeah I mainly there for the sight seeing, and I have to say my favorite casino that I got to see was Caesar's Palace. I just thought the design, and the whole look of it was cool. Treasure Island was another one that I liked, and that's where I got all those free Bud Light Limes.

Hope you have fun.
