Absolutely agree with everything Zyb said. As for being bitter: It was an interview. He was asked a question, and he answered. That's what an interview is.

By the way, he didn't say Sting couldn't draw. He just said he couldn't cut a promo or work in the ring.

Sting didn't seem to be known for being a ring general, but that doesn't define whether someone can work well. Dude was athletic and seemed able to work with the style of whoever was in the ring. Sting's role really wasn't ever going to be the long term, cash cow. His talent was being a part of making your top draws look good in a program. And personally, I liked the pre-Crow version of Sting. It suited the time that he found himself making some main event runs, that was the look and style that seemed to get over Times and tastes changed, so did the Sting character.

No idea if this is just the typical wrestler trying to spout off to get his name out there for whatever deals he has going, or part of the tradition of top talent taking shots at other top talents.

Not sure I'd call Sting the luckiest guy around. I think he was smart and knew what his limitations were, was willing and happy to make his money with his role.

Why would Miz be lucky? Miz worked his way up from dsw to ova to sd to ecw to a tag guy to raw to the us title to the wwe championship. He took worlds of shit along the way and stuck with it. He may be a bit of a joke now, but it took far more for him to get his spot than anything sting has done since he became the crow. And to be honest Miz in his youth, talking ecw was better than young sting on the mic and about equal in the ring. Sting is just a guy who aged well sorta like taker, found a niche with the crow gimmick, worked part time, and then leeched half a mil off TNA for a decade for doing and accomplishing nothing. Miz being irritating is what it is, but he wasnt given a spot because he was a reality star, he earned it and everything he got

I never knew Sting fooled anyone into thinking he was the HBK if WCW with his ring work. Learn new stuff daily. I wouldn't rank his ring work overall as better than Batistas. He looked great because Goldberg, Hogan, and Nash were his comparisons as well as a drugged out Hall; if you want a workhorse in WCW look at DDP

I'm still finding it odd that the guy who was paired with Bruno Sammartino as a protege turned nemesis has the balls to call out someone else for being "lucky".

Also, Sting wasn't terrible in the ring, he always got the crowds on their feet and would be paired with guys he meshed perfectly with and got over as a result, and if he was in WWF instead of Warrior, he would've been huge because he is a guy who Vince McMahon loves. But he was in WCW and wasn't allowed to get past Flair when it was needed, because Dusty and Flair would keep the title on Flair too much and it just kills any momentum your supposed top babyface has(like Daniel Bryan right now).

Yeah Miz busted his ass to get to the top. Worked hard on getting better in the ring and improving his mic skills. Did all the WWE asks of him, never gets in trouble, is great in interviews. Took all the crap from the boys in the back who think wrestling is too good for reality TV guys. No luck there just hard work.

Never said Miz didn't work hard but it's a joke he headlined WM as champ.

Also the same can pretty much be said about Ziggler

Lawrence Taylor headlined a Wrestlemania, how is an actual wrestler, who was a fan since childhood considered a bigger joke? Because he was on Real World 10 years ago? Spare the pretentious fan act. And boohoo for Ziggler, he is nothing mroe than a midcarder who 10% of an audience thinks can be a major star, while the the rest of the audience couldn't tell him apart from Evan Bourne a few years ago. And still couldn't give a shit about him today.

And this is about Sting and Zbyzsko wasn't it? Or we trying to get off topic so people won't say the obvious that Sting wasn't as big of a deal as WCW fans thought he was, even as much as not even being in the Observer HOF(not that that means anything to me), but I bring it up, because even they will tell you he wasn't a draw.

I think him not being as a big of a deal as he is made out to be is part of why he won't come to WWE cause he knows he won't be treated like this icon that you can't live without in WWE the way he gets treated in TNA when they open their wallet up for him every year. Also think there is a decent point in him coming off as a better wrestler than he really was wrestling with some of the guys he was wrestling with in the mid to late 90s in WCW. That said won't say he is a scrub he can get it done in the ring, solid promo guy who got better as he went along and is a legend in the biz.

Sting knows his mystique is not working for wwe. He can always be the one guy who didnt do it when he goes into the HOF. If he just goes into the HOF, he can then do a book under the wwe umbrella, a dvd anthology documentary, and move some toys and merch. Sting shies away because he knows he never wants to be exposed like Goldberg and Steiner were when they came after the invasion, got all the hype, and just couldn't hack it in the ring when told actually give us 30 minutes of hard work.

The whole hype to will he or won't he jump ship to try wwe comes from people wondering if he has the balls, and just how good he is. Least if he bombs now if he ever came for a match or two he can blame age, but if he came after the invasion or even when he joined TNA again he could've ruined his legacy

The Miz is a corporate kiss ass and it won him the WWE Title. (and the crowd gives more of a damn about Dolph than Miz)

I don't really care if Sting wasn't a draw cause Larry is a bitter bastard either way.

And Dolph Ziggler is an apparently an arrogant prick with a bad attitude who will never be WWE champion.(which is why the office gives more of a damn about Miz) what's your point?

And Larry was asked a question and he gave an answer, how does that make him bitter? Does that mean everyone with an opinion you don't agree with make them bitter? I don't agree with your assumptions on Miz, does that mean I can say you're just a bitter rasslin fan? I should hope not.
