Deonna is only temporarily playing the role until Mickie James is added to the active roster. The reason why Mickie isn't active yet is because of her pending physical results. So until they get the results from the doctor she can't compete in the ring yet.

I thought I read that Mickie was cleared by the WWE Medical Staff already?
Either way...all that matters is Mickie is coming back to kick some ass!!!

No, it'll be revealed in time. This is a storyline. In fact, just last night on Smackdown Live 1/3/2017, Banks went up against a Luchadora-looking character, which was revealed to be Alexa Bliss, only to see that there's yet another one.
Actually what happened, which I caught immediately, was the original la luchadora went under the ring on one side, then popped up from another side to finish the match and then be un masked. Then the real luchadora came up and they went up the ramp. As soon as the decoy came up, I noticed the difference.
The original had more of a bun on the back of her head under the mask, making it bulge at the back. When bliss came up to finish the match I noticed the bulge wasn't nearly as big.

Yeah Becky was under the mask once (or twice?). I am not sure how long they will keep this going since we actually know who the main masked woman is now.. They must know wrestling fans are wise to it now.

The first thing I noticed was the difference in shoes between them...
but...I'm kind of strange that way.
Becky was under the mask only once and that was when La Luchadora was first introduced. She defeated Bliss and it was revealed La Luchadora is actually Becky Lynch.
Not sure how long they'll keep this going, though. Hopefully they reveal it next week.
We all know it's Deonna Purrazzo under that mask, but for all we know, they could reveal another person, either Tamina or Mickie.
