Since a few things have been brought up about the eyes... A lot of wrestlers have worn colored contacts in the past, some still do.

Roman and Tamina are actually two of them who do. :true:

I've noticed that...I mean I understood Kane wearing his back in the day...
and someone like Rosemary wearing them now...

But...why did Roman Reigns ever need to wear them?

It is a look thing I guess. Alicia Fox wears them as well and they aren't there for any other reason than to enhance her looks.

Like Foxy needs them...its amazing to think of how the WWE comes to that decision...
Do they sit around a table and go;

"Look people...we need to enhance this performers look...any ideas?"

"Contact lenses?"

"Genius...we're done! Break out the cocaine!"

Although...for the right wrestler with the right look/gimmick...they can
work wonders with stunning results.

Kane is another example, same with Rey, Those looked cool on them.

I don't think WWE had anything to do with Tamina, Reigns or Fox wearing them. Most people who use colored contacts already use regular ones and do it just for fun, like dying your hair bright colors.

Fair call...I just don't think shoving tiny glass discs into my eyes would be "fun"

Still...it is a way of adding to a performers look...I mean just imagine Becky Lynch wearing these...

I have to also state that of the outside talent I'm aware of...the only one
I'd really like to see WWE sign is Rosemary (Holly Letkeman) from TNA.

Mainly because she plays a "character" and the WWE is sorely in need
of some actual characters on their roster.

God...just imagine how some of the WWE ladies would react to this
woman...just the potential promos could either be scary as hell or
funny as f@ck...

Hell...sign Abyss & Crazy Steve and bring over all of Decay...anything to
shake things up and make the WWE more interesting.

I do miss characters. It seems that people think you can either have a "gimmick" or be a good technical wrestler, but it is possible to have the best of both worlds.

I think they are silicon or polymer actually :smug:

I wore regular contacts before, they aren't that bad but they suck when you have to take them out. I just wear glasses like a nerd. Much easier. :beavis:

Yeah, it is weird, some people have great technical skill but no personality and others have the charisma to spare and are decent in the ring, but a gimmick kills them.

Makes me wonder we can make a discussion about 'gimmicks' in WWE...

Exactly...this is wrestling...and the WWE has created some great "characters" over the years...
Undertaker, Kane, the original Mankind...but now...everyone seems so...normal...apart from
Bray Wyatt...who is my current favorite male performer...

Bring back some Freaks!!!

Luna Vachon is the only female wrestler I can think of that WWE went full "freak" on . . . unless you count Ariel from WWECW. If the costume was appealing in anyway it would be interesting to just have luchadora be her own character for a while.

And Luna was great...and well...I've only seen clips of Ariel...and I liked what I saw...
;)
Ariel was neat for however long she lasted, surprised WWE went the vampire route around that time without trying to cash in on twilight. Luna was crazy good emphasis on crazy . . . and good.
