When he was feuding with Orton. Wrecking the shit out of his car that was given to him. That was a pretty damn good promo by him.

Didn't like Serious Kofi at all, didn't suit him and looked out of place IMO.

He's great as the kid friendly bouncy spot monkey. Doesn't really have the pull to get anyone interested in his feuds so being 'the filler match guy' seems to be his niche, no problem with that as everyone has their place and he's more reliable than most.

I like Kofi Kingston for the most part. I may not be a fan of his in-ring style, but he comes across as a really nice guy.

Another reason I like him is because of how content he is on staying in the mid cards. I'm sure he'd love to be a main eventer and everything, but I think he knows just how lucky he is to be in the WWE in the first place. He's someone who started out wrestling at a fairly old age and got snatched up by the WWE in a very short amount of time. Not many people have had such an easy route to the big time as Kofi Kingston.

I just think that if he is going to take that next step and try to become a maineventer he needs to have a slightly more serious side. As you said right now his niche is reliable midcard face and a guy that can be used in any kind of tag team but the gimmick he had for that I don't think will work at the top of the card.

Him saying "you like that Randy?" over and over makes it a good promo?

He was given mic time and floundered, hence the kibosh on the feud and his push.

He still can't do a promo and he doesn't have to. Just beat people up and fly around the ring, that would keep him over more than trying to do long monologues like he is Kane.

Bar the reliable part, it sounds like you just described Jeff Hardy and look how that turned out. Granted he ended up moving merch on quite a scale, but if you give someone a decent push and enough reason to care then they'll buy their merch.

I'm not saying he's A show Champion material, but I definitely think he could he make a run for the WHC as it's not as if the belt is coming close to closing any PPV's.

He's more in the Rey Mysterio mould than Jeff, but I see your point.

I wouldn't have thought Mark Henry, Christian or Daniel Bryan could of been a World champion if you'd asked me a few years ago, so anything can happen.
