I mean in this instance for the exact same reason it might be good to vote a town in this instance it may not be. Like I've never heard of a town role that could power up but why couldn't that role be scum too? And in that instance realistically you'd want to know for sure that was the lynch before piling votes on, otherwise you risk powering up scum with no gain for town.

I'm also wondering what you think MY motivation would be here as scum?

Ill start with the tweet sitch.

The claim obviously does nothing for me, unsurprisingly. My main issue with tweet, as I think someone else pointed out, is the comparison to the way he refused to claim.

When he was the vig, for example, sure he refused to claim. but he also dissected his wagon, burried everyone on it, and i believe even caught scum out of it (lethal).

Here he's tried about 5 different tactics, including what Id describe as the Eeyore defence, which he has often used as scum . That's the one where he's more defeatist (like saying his role wont save him in a im sad way i guess). Idk if that makes sense but thats the vibe i got off the defence posts.

Also we can't really just wait like 4 phases for a potential scum suspect to prove a role thats not even auto-town, so yea, at this juncture id be in favour of lynching

But you're more than happy to believe town are going to be rewarded for acting scummy in the same vein? It seems weird that you'd accept one as truth and not consider the other. Ftr I think you're probably right, but if you're not town reading him but don't want to lynch him either then I'm don't think it's wrong to suggest you should be cautious. And if signal virtuing or whatever then so be it

No, the thing is Im not really discussing the role itself, Im discussing your actions around it lol. I dont really think you'd thought it through and you still can't see to come up with a role that would punish us for voting scum
