I guess what I'm saying is for Magic to re-declare his own position on Jeff. Does he believe Jeff is Indy merely on the role or does it have to do with play as well? And secondly, would he believe that an Indy Jeff would show his hand so readily when it possibly hurts town and thus hurts him in the long run?

I thought Jeff was sitting on a very strong role and wanted to get wagoned so he could pull out his claim and then go "awwwright let's see who's scum on this wagon then", but if he artificially creates a wagon like that with deliberately sketchy play, the wagon isn't gonna be worth much.

@Poyser i dont think this is an unfair read of the situation prior to jeff's claim.

this is also why i didn't like the play in itself as i can definitely see this reaction from a town!tweet. altho i dont really get his push on you and agree it's shit, i dont recall scum!tweet being the aggro "ima start a wagon on a good player day 1" type player, he always seemed to sit back more and give weak thoughts while sheeping. am i not correct in regards to that part of his meta? as in do you really think he'd go after you for something so early in the phase and try to push hard against you with it?

So is jeff gonna claim or is this phase gonna be all about him and his summer camp secret that tweet thinks he knows what it is even though he didn't go to camp that summer and doesn't run in the same friend circles

Okay, so he says the wagon is shit, but that Jeff's play is shit. Right? Okay, so does he think it's shit town play or shit play in general that doesn't make him look good? Finally, he throws in indy-spec on the role. So does Magic think Jeff is town, scum, or Indy? And if so, why is the wagon shit if he doesn't think Jeff is town anymore?

i said jeff's play was shit because it won't yield anything of quality for town in terms of discussion and by quality i mean something that can be used to easily gauge someone's alignment.

provided my reasoning and previous example from an odo game as to why i could see the role being an indy role.

read his posts and not really sure how he went from being suspect of the tweet wagon to saying he thinks tweet is 75% likely to be scum. Seems to just be sheeping Poyser which is a tactic he's taken as scum before iirc

i think jeff's play wasnt scum and have high confident he is not mafia. i do think the role is indy.

yes i do believe indy jeff would do that when the role itself requires votes to get power. in the yugioh game i didnt even start with a full kill on every night phase.
