Smark I guess my point is, by playing the way he did, Jeff made it clear that there was a method to his madness and that he knew what he was gonna claim. He practically started the game with that kind of statement, whereas if he was scum who actually had no claim at his disposal, he coulda just played the actual game and probably not have to claim anyway. I have trouble believing that you actually believe that there was a chance Jeff was scum in that situation.

I don’t like all this tbh. you’re aware of his scum motivation which you’ve mentioned in the last post here but your first instinct was to express caution and be worried about the reasons he wants votes. there’s 0 reason for scum to want people to vote them at this stage. you have no idea why he would want votes but it’s still your first instinct to go with that rather than him being scum which you know there is motivation for. it’s almost like it’s because you know the scum motivation doesn’t apply here.

Like there's 0 reason for town to want people to vote for them right now as well...unless there is. But the same can be said for scum. So I dont really get the point you're making with regards to me knowing what motivation does or doesn't apply. Until we know what Jeff flips we won't know the motivation and should be expressing caution.

WHY is there no town motivation in voting for somebody that wants to be voted? Is the town motivation not “ok this is interesting, let’s see where this goes” or “I don’t really buy this guy, I want answers” or “oh he wants to be voted therefore voting him might result in something positive” or “well he’s locked himself into a certain type of explanation so let’s get it”

I dont really know why Tweet doesn't see town motivation AT ALL. I do however see why he might consider any town motivation risky given Jeffs stance but he didn't say that so its a little off
