why tkok over your scum reads?
Probably a lack of confidence. Decided to go for an inactive. Was doubting on Blaine as I thought his entrance was objectively awful and he was relatively inactive, but then someone pointed out when he's scum he tried to at least feign a sense of having a grasp on the game, so I let it go

one more question if you’re still here, when and why did you start town reading me because I wasn’t town in your original reads list

has ace done anything notable? from what ive read on day 2 he was just around to be around and added non-controversial points mostly.

as scum in all the times he's won he's just slipped by by adding enough to not be sus while not doing so little he's sussed for that. he just avoids being the main subject of suspicion and lets town flail at themselves.

i have no interest in going for haza/smark today nor should anyone really, smark isn't faking that role and it doesnt make sense for a town player(in the situation smark is) to make roles for a scum player. they're not both scum either.

this is most of ace's day 1 play and i know yall dont read big ass posts so let me summarize this best i can:

from the start of the game ace goes at alco for being suss(initially for fluff and then disagreeing in regards to jeff). he then votes tweet because poyser is leading that charge and goes along with that.

he votes jeff for the votes thing.

then chimp asks ace why he's not voting anyone and he clarifies he just doesn't vote anyone on day 1 and it's surprising he voted anyone at all given this, but he legit sussed alco the whole time. in particular this interaction with poyser:

you ask poyser his thoughts on alco, he says null, and then you casually ruin your own credibility in your ability to read alco. there's no real reason for you to do this as you don't drop your suspicion of him and the poster after poyser defends alco a bit and you like that post.

you again go after tweet and then when he doesn't get lynched you say "good thing we got vig at least and the shot won't be in the dark".

through most of this, outside of alco, you literally do not give town reads but hedge a lot. even with tweet you tell him you're not convinced he's scum, but you do want the vig to take him out even though he is a tracker and perhaps that info could have been useful, no? in the chimp/brutus duel you basically say neither look scum to you and you're sure one will flip town.

day 2 starts and you say the tweet wagon should be looked at but you dont do this and hope someone else does it. you again make these hedge posts that aren't reads, but just declaring how guys may not be scum for various reasons(like jeff having to post his role in the thread).

finally poyser votes alco and you announce with excitement that you're happy that someone else finally saw alco as scummy and join the wagon almost immediately. why didn't you vote alco yourself at the start of the phase considering he was your only other scum read outside of tweet and the one you were pushing all game. instead you only vote him AFTER poyser starts the wagon.

so to be 100% clear, @Jeff Valley Driver, ace is not on the right side of things with alco because his words betray his actions. he calls him scum yet doesnt pursue, but happily joins when someone else starts the wagon. again the last time i went pretty far in a game ace did something similar where he immediately joined his teammate's wagon and people said he looked good for it and he had sussed his other teammates as well. ace will not make things happen against his teammates, but will distance himself from them nearly all game.

I get why you're making this argument in the context of my MVP GAME and I actually like you more as town for it but unfortunately its missing a key detail - I play in the same non-committal early game style as town.

I have a pretty long history of being pretty awful with my reads in the early game which is why you'll find in my town games I am far more likely to throw out my reads without particularly trying to get others to follow them.

In almost every game I've played I've been accused of giving reads that appear to be fake because I'm not willing to stand by them particularly aggressively as I am self-aware of my early-game read shortcomings.

That's why I was asking Poyser what he thought of Alco - because particularly players like Alco and Chris (I remember Chris from a previous game as a stand-out example) who sort of post a lot of generic stuff that comes across as filler tend to ping me in general.

btw "as scum in all the times he's won" refers to a single game lol.

Are you including the survivor game on WF? Honestly I can't remember that one at all.

I'll have a look back

you weren't survivor, you were the SK. I had a look at your last couple games and this does support what you're saying tbf.
