Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a new Wrestling Smarks tradition, the hottest event of the Summer, the Wrestling Smarks King of the Ring tournament!!!
Since way back at Wrestlemania in April our roster of highly trained prediction athletes have been vying for supremacy as they have attempted to become the World Prediction Champion. Now, they'll get another chance to write history because since that very first match at Wrestlemania we here at Wrestling Smarks have been tracking their performances in the World Prediction Rankings, and I can now exclusively reveal the seedings for the King of the Ring tournament.
Before those seedings are announced, I can also reveal that the first round of the tournament will indeed take place at this weekends Impact Wrestling Slammiversary event, the first time an Impact Wrestling event will be predicted on in World Prediction Championship history.....

In July 2020 the debut of the first annual King of the Ring Tournament saw defined matches for player vs player competition for the first time. Moving forwards these defined player vs player matches will play a larger role in WPC events.

- A seeded 16 person single elimination tournament.
- Seeds are determined via standings in the World Prediction Rankings.
- A tie in the first round results in both competitors advancing.
- A tie in any post-first round match is decided by standings in the World Prediction Rankings.
- Winner is declared the King of the Ring for one calandar year.
- 2020 winner will receive the first ever 1 vs 1 World Prediction Championship Title shot.
