Yeah that's what I been reading and hearing so I'm gonna be watching this for a few days and months maybe, I'm big on history so anytime stuff like this happens I watch and watch because it's a big part of history.

You can't just say "fuck that guy" without knowing a single thing about him outside of what you've been fed by Western media though. Nobody on the outside of North Korea really knew all that much about him and even those on the inside had limited knowledge. While he may have come across as a tyrannical despot (to paraphrase George W. Bush) the fact remains that he did many great things for his own country including leading them through the worst famine in their history. Sure he spent all his money on his military in order to barter an aid for disarmament deal to get the help he needed to do that, but that's the political game and he played it well.

You like CM Punk's theme song, "Cult of Personality"? Like it or not, Kim Jong Il was a true definition of the term within his own country, and though I don't grieve his death, I would prefer not to see people speak ill of the dead without truly knowing anything about them.

This is pretty much why I'm not really talking bad about him but I mean he did keep people from having food and that's kinda bad :/ maybe he did great things for them but he also seemed to have did a lot worst then bad...I feel that people should be free to do and live where they want and from what I've heard and stuff people aren't allowed to leave the country. But I'm still not gonna celebrate his death or go run my mouth all over about it.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to defend the guy. I think the living conditions for the majority of his people are appalling (though many of them don't think so) and certainly not humane in the slightest. I also don't necessarily agree with his political tactics, particularly when it comes to strong arming the UN to send him aid. However, I also don't think he was the maniacal madman that some Western politicians painted him as. Regardless, its a new day in North Korea so lets wait and see how this plays out. Contrary to what some people seem to think, I haven't heard anything to the effect that his son is "just as crazy as he is" and then again, who defines the term crazy anyway?

Oh I know you wasn't trying to defend the guy trust me man but I know I'll be watching this as I said I'm a big history guy and anything history related rather good or bad I'm very much into watching and learning more and more and more on like by now watching CNN I seen they had this nice cool like theme part thing over there in Oct that seemed like some very great fun for them so he wasn't a total mad man who didn't let them do anything. I just hope the stuff I see people thinking will happen doesn't happen.

I'm surprised that it took someone this long to make that horrendous joke.

By the way the veal's off, sorry.

It wasn't really a bad joke, just a cute play on words. I find stuff like that harmless.

I'll admit I laughed at the joke I just didn't wanna make it. I seen some people say I guess he was Kim Jong-ill and things like that and it's like just funny little play on words. One i saw was like he went out doing what he loved a massive heart attack on a train...I didn't fully get that one lol.

I think that's in reference to his famous eating episodes where he would travel by train from North Korea to Moscow and literally eat the entire time he was aboard.

Ahhh here I was thinking it had something to do with attacking trains and stuff and the heart was some how a part of it in away like it was in the heart of the train or something. What you said makes more sense thought.
