Here's one reason Nash will never be an Internet darling: He called Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero — small-statured, gifted technical wrestlers that lacked big in-ring personalities but were beloved by fans — "Vanilla Midgets." He now claims the comments were a double work. It drew heat from the marks that cheered for Benoit and Guerrero because they were baby faces. It drew heat from the smart marks that cheered for Benoit and Guerrero because they were great wrestlers. Even though both are gone now,12 he still thinks they never belonged in the main event.

"When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business," he says. "Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two fucking guys that were great workers that were the same height as the fucking referees, and I'm sorry, man. Are you going to watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick? Even if you're not gay, you will not watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick. That's not the standard in porno films. So you put a 5-foot-7 guy as your world champion."

He has the same problem with today's Internet heroes, Phil "CM Punk" Brooks and Bryan "Daniel Bryan" Danielson.

"They are not bigger than life," he says. "I bet they could both walk through airports and not be noticed unless they have a gimmick shirt on and the belt."
Really don't understand the point he made about Eddie if i'm being honest because while he was small and technically great, he was also a damn big personality and it just reeks of stupidity given his affiliation in the past with another small statured, gifted technical wrestler...

Someone also made a good point that if these two guys did kill the business, it wasn't because they won the titles but because they actually died and because of that WWE changed all their policies which is good for the health and safety of the wrestlers in the long run, but can be said to have diluted the product somewhat to.

My final thing I find hilarious is his shot at Punk because I swear just a week or so ago this douchebag was clamouring for the NWO to be brought back with a certain CM Punk as the leader.

Guy has been giving Punk props all this time till now so smh. I will forever hate this Blue ass thinking of you got to be a certain mold to be a main eventer. The thing that makes his theory look so idiotic is that his best friend who was part of the reason he even got a chance to main event Shawn Michaels fits that mold he seems to dislike. A boom period in wrestling has nothing to do with the size of guys because if that was the case Cena being on top for years would have created one.

We know where Kevin Nash's mind is 8D

So Nash thinks only people "larger than life" should be world champions, just ignore how good they are in the ring, if they're shorter than 6'0, it shouldn't happen. Worked great when you were booking WCW, Kev.

EDIT: PHX makes a great point, someone should have asked him if he thought Shawn Michaels should have been world champ.

Kevin Nash is a blueberry; that's not just a knee-jerk reaction to these comments, that's just always been true and always will be.

As for the comments, they're incoherent and nonsensical. The porn line is just flat out strange. The airport line just reminds me of this;

I'm sorry but isn't this the same Kevin Nash that was a ratings killer during his title reign in WWE as Diesel while Eddie and Chris got to main event Wrestlemania 20 in 2 of the best matches of all time.

He lost me at the 3 inch dick line. He really did as I thought guys watched porn for the pussy all these years, and preferably 2 or more girls going at it. I must be weird.

As for the point, I get it about Benoit, I truly do. I mean Beonit was great but he couldn't talk or anything, yet WWE did a hell of a job making him more important than WCW or ECW with the Rabid Wolverine tagline and he they built up his aggression and desire/sacrifice. Benoit probably wouldn't have gotten as over as he did in this era if he started in wwe as they simply don't run the desire/sacrifice montages and let guys do the insane headbutts and multiple Germans, largely because of how Benoit turned out. I truly do believe though that it was Benoit flipping out that hurt the business more than anything else.

Now as for the Eddie Guerrero comments. Nash can go fuck himself in the ass with whatever 7 inch dick or vanilla midget dildo he wants. What he says was true until 2000 when VInce made Latino Heat. Eddie was fucking boring, had no personality, no charisma, but wwe really changed him. They found a niche for him and made him larger than life as Latino Heat, and he was able to capture the fans in his hands as a result of it. He also reached a demo of latinos. Had no probe,m with him winning, and he would have won before that if he didn't get beat by drugs before the invasion.

Lastly as for Bryan and Punk. Yes! Yes! Yes! They just aren't believable and hurt the damn wwe and world titles the past year. Least they made a storyline out of it without Punk about him not being worthy still. they need to put the strap on Cena, just is what it is, as Punk isn't on that level still and it's been tried, better than Prton, but still not Dave or Edge or even Jeff ceiling and it shows. Oh and Bryan found his niche as the upper Midcard-transitional champ challenger-joke like Jericho/Foley

I try to like Kevin Nash and he's at some cool moments where I agree with him, but here this guy is pathetic. If Kevin Nash jumped off a cliff, I would be happy. Punk is one of the most popular people in wrestling these days, the guy has one million followers which shows his popularity. Punk would get swarmed if a crowd saw him, seriously Nash lay off.

The whole Benoit and Guerrero thing annoyed me. It just seemed like a low blow and really uncalled for. Nash can say all he wants but nothing changes that he is still the worst drawing champion in history.

Nash will always be this way. He retains that old school wrestling mentality from the 90's and before... we all saw what his outdated perspective did to WCW.

Most of all, I think it's important that fans not take his comments seriously. Nash has proven to be a guy who loves to tweet the most Blue shit just to rile up fans because he knows that no matter how irrelevant he is, he can still stir the pot when he wants to. It's probably the only thing keeping him from hanging himself at night after reflecting on his laundry list of career failures since 1996... and even then at the apex of his career, he needed other people like Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, and Hulk Hogan to lean on.

Nash can fuck off.

Funniest thing is Rey was praised by Nash as a main talent in recent times on twitter so his opinion of him must have changed somehow, and Rey is the definition of small

Yeah Nash is starting to grasp at straws probably upset that he didn't used in his last wwe run. but great points.

If it wasn't for Eddie and Benoit, guys like Test and Umaga would have all died on wwe watch. A guy like Matt would never get rehab. MVP would have died of a heart attack and never knew he even had a problem, while Khali died of an aneurysm and never knew why. Guys like Carlito, Masters, and so on would not get wake up calls and reevaluate the shit they are doing.

Eddies death had pretty much saved a lot of lives because people get heart exams regularly now for wwe. The death of Benoit hurt the business, it just made them look bad, especially with that tribute raw, but the fact is his des did lead to concussion and steroid testing/rehab policies being out in place.

Just one of 3535353 reasons why Jericho is the man and is one of the most intelligent people in the business. I'm happy one big name stuck up to this idiot.

Kevin replied to Chris by saying:

Kevin Nash @RealKevinNash
Once again the puppet master pulls the marks strings .Knew Jericho was a closet mark.First one eliminated on a bullshit sing show...REALLY!!

Chavo Guerrero Sr. is also going off about Kevin on twitter. https://twitter.com/ChavoClassic

Think Kevin is gonna be making a few enemies now. lol. He's a disrespectful fucking nobody, irrelevant hack who was the worst drawing WWF Champion. He couldn't lace Chris or Eddies boots any day. Learn to respect some of the greats Kevin.
