-- Former WWE star Kenny Dykstra worked a dark match at tonight's SmackDown taping in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He put over Justin Gabriel.

Thoughts?

Interesting doubt it leads to him coming back though.

He was likely used because he was in the area and they know he can work a match infront of a WWE crowd. He was a good talent when he was in WWE a few years back, It seems Nick Nemeth/Dolph Ziggler took what possibly was his spot. I doubt we will see him back, But who knows maybe down the road because hes still young.

Well, he is a tremendous worker for his young age. I'd love to see him return to WWE. He should at least be on some sort wrestling show that matters.

Finally. Bring this guy back. WWE made a huge mistake in getting rid of him when they did, he showed more promise than most of the other midcarders at the time. WWE screwed him when they had DX bury Spirit Squad. After that he had some big matches against Flair and nearly joined Rated RKO but then they just let him go. He should have been up there with Ziggler.

I hope he comes back and I can't wait to see his elevated leg drops winning matches again.

Fine talent, just lacked any character whatsoever.

- Former WWE star Ken Doane (Dykstra), who lost to Justin Gabriel in a dark match at last night's WWE tapings, wrote the following on Twitter last night after the tryout:

"Great feedback from everyone! Except.... the guy that hires people.... lol what ya gonna do? Maybe he plays #hardtoget. is what it is."
So guess it really was a wanting to get a job type deal thing instead of just happening to get a call up cause of the area or something.

It definitely would have been about him wanting a job and WWE wanting to see how he has improved since he was released. I mean he doesn't work for any other major company out there I think he recently signed with the new Wrestling Revolution project but that is very minor league and he would be desperate to get back into WWE. Apparently his attitude was an issue last time so hopefully he realises that he needs to be more humble and respectful.

I'd absolutely love to see Kenny back. Dolph Ziggler is basically where and who Kenny should have been. Unfortunately the youth movement hadn't arrived yet so once he started jobbing to the likes of Batista there was no way he was going to be rebuilt.

I liked the guy in the WWE but I think it was a one-night stand.... I don't see him coming back to the WWE anytime soon.

He is still only 25 so I think that there is no doubt he will eventually be back in WWE. He should have been one of their future stars and he is someone that could quickly work his way up the card if they signed him.

He was entertaining but I gotta disagree with you, sorry bro but I just don't see him coming back anytime soon. Maybe in the future but I don't see him as a WWE superstar again for a while. Nonetheless, I enjoyed seeing him wrestle when he was in the business before and was disappointed to see him go.
