fightline.com said:Legendary fighter Ken Shamrock will return to the cage for the first time since 2010, taking on Ian Freeman in England. The bout will go down July 27 for the Ultimate Cage Fighting Championship promotion.
Shamrock, 49 years old, has not fought since November 2010. He is a former UFC superfight champion and pushed for the bout with Freeman while commentating BAMMA 12 recently.
Freeman, seven years younger than Shamrock, has also been on the sidelines for a few years, remaining active in charity kickboxing fights and running his own gym. He once defeated former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir inside the Octagon.
The two were originally set to meet at UFC 43 before Shamrock tore his ACL. MMA Opinion first reported the bout.
Wow, this is gonna be awesome! That one's definitely gonna be a war on the ground if they both can still show the same kind of intensity they had 10 years ago.
