I can't say I am really bothered by her release. She was an awful wrestler and is more suited to modelling than having pointless wrestling matches. The women's division in WWE is also pointless, I see absolutely no point in keeping it together. The women's division was big during the 80's and 90's and they actually had proper wrestling matches. Even TNA have outdone WWE at times with their knockout division allowing things like hardcore matches to take place and put them in major spots. TNA are just as bad as WWE now. Personally I'm not fussed if the women's division was just disbanded.

I actually totally forgot about her. Good to see they finally released her, she really was completely useless.

The only downside I can conceive of here is that Beth and Kelly's departures will likely have an influence on any other Diva pondering their future with WWE. After all, like it or not, Kelly and Beth are the two Divas that probably defined this generation of Divas. They represent the short ceiling the girls can aspire to reach. Its really sad. Beth, for all her skill, uniqueness and dedication got as far as she was ever going to because WWE had no vision for her. Whereas Kelly embodies pretty much everything I think is plaguing the division and was still more over by virtue of looking prettier.

I won't miss Kelly and neither will the division, but until we get some exciting new female athletes in here OR start working more closely with existing talent (Kaitlyn) then I think we're just circling the drain.
