As of Jan. 8, Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin) will no longer be under contract with WWE. The former Divas Champion has chosen to pursue other endeavors outside the sports-entertainment world.

WWE wishes Kaitlyn the best in all her future endeavors.

As noted, WWE announced today that Kaitlyn is leaving the company to pursue other interests outside of wrestling. She tweeted the following after the news came out:

"Today is bittersweet. I've officially left @WWE on my own terms. Much love to WWE and all of you guys."

well, that's kind of unexpected. Wonder if her recent engagement has anything to do with this? wonder if they will bring up one of the NXT girls to replace her.

No big loss, didn't really establish herself outside of one feud. Better to get out before she got released after the new crop are brought in.

She had one of the worst Diva's/Women's title reigns ever and the division has been trash forever. Not totally her fault but she wasn't gonna change WWE's mind on what they do with it.

Thought she could have become a pretty decent hand if she stuck it out considering she hasn't really been around all that long. She's obviously big into the muscle & fitness scene so i'd imagine she'll be doing something in that line. All the best to her, really liked her.

TBH don't blame her. If she isn't a total diva then she will be pretty much be left to do nothing for the next couple of years.

Hopefully Kaitlyn was able to use her time in the WWE to line up some opportunities. Most likely, this was going to be the end of her run anyhow. They really aren't into developing women as wrestlers. It's a series of new p****, the WWE loving the fuck out of them at first, then eventually getting tired, ignoring and finding new p****. Better she get the most she can out of it and find something new while people still recognize her.

- As noted earlier, Kaitlyn is done with WWE as of today. F4WOnline reports that the reason she left was there were a lot of storylines involving her that she was wanting or expecting that never came to fruition, and she essentially was just over it.

- WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee tweeted the following to her friend and rival, former WWE Diva Kaitlyn:

"To @KaitlynWWE : Thank you for letting me have your tryout, your first match, your last match, and your Savage Garden CD. I could not have survived or succeeded without you. But I’m really psyched my reproductive organs won’t have to endure any more spears. @KaitlynWWE"

Good for her for wanting to work more and having ideas, sadly the writers didn't want to do anything so she went well fuck it and left. Would be nice to see her go to Jeff Jarretts new rumoured company.

No loss. Apart from being a bigger version of Seth Rollins nothing about her stood out. She was a Diva in the Total Divas era anyway, at best she would get a month long push every year then nothing, now though even that would be a stretch.

I liked Kaitlyn and I think her potential could've come out more if she stuck around and got to do more stuff. But at least this won't leave much impact since she wasn't featured much on TV anymore. To me she had the right look for a Diva who could lead the division and she progressed nicely in the time she was there.
