The first match for this year's WrestleCon has been confirmed to be the part of Heavy Metal Mania and will see Chris Jericho take on Atsushi Onita. 'Padre del Deathmatch' who plays host of the event has stated that it wouldn't be right to not take part of an event he was putting together. Onita would suggest that he hoped to make the match as violent and metal as possible, with perhaps a live musical performance taking place during the contest and that he was looking to involved as many bands as possible during the event. Onita would also mention he hoped that the match type between himself and Jericho would be as violent as possible and had reached out to Tony Khan about the potential of putting one of AEW's soft boys in a dangerous match.

Episode 010

- The American Wrestling Association would continue its time in Indiana with the show coming live from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne. Stu Bennett would welcome the fans to the show and remind everyone that is now just over a fortnight's time till the second pay per view of the year WrestleRock and that he fully expected a number of matches to be announced both tonight and on next week's go-home show. Pat McAfee would add that tonight in itself was guaranteed to be a great night, as the opening contest would see WALTER challenge Keith Lee for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Finish: The contest between Keith and Walter would be hard hitting, with it being evident from the get go that the big Austrian was very much taking the frustration of his loss at Aces High and it was clear that he had learned from some of his mistakes. The two men would feature in another epic chop battle, and it would really help set the tone for the rest of the contest. WALTER would avoid a Pounce, but as he rebounded off the rope would be caught by Lee and nail with the Spirit Bomb to finish off the contest and retain the World Championship.

- After the contest both men would exchange a few words and briefly shake hands, before Keith Lee would request a microphone and address the fans. Keith would inform everyone that once again he proved to the world that he was limitless and that he was now looking towards the horizon and would be sitting backstage with a monitor in his room and would ponder which member of the roster was most deserving of a shot at his title at WrestleRock.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Ronn Killings would enter into Adam Pearce’s office and would be followed in by David Otunga. Pearce would demand to know what Killings wanted, but Ronn would just chuckle and cross his arms as David Otunga would apologetically hand Pearce a sheet of paper. Pearce would skim read it and look annoyed and then ask what Ronn wanted. Killings would answer that if Adam was too chickenshit to be a man and treat him with some respect, then at WrestleRock he wanted to face a person of Pearce’s choice and after he kicked whichever stooge was picked - maybe Pearce would look into his eyes and start to show him some respect. Killings would then exit the room, with Pearce looking clearly frustrated. Otunga would offer a suggestion that Pearce might want to consider the way he manages the roster, if he ever wanted to be elevated to be the actual General Manager.

Finish: Matt Lee and Jeff Parker would really impress and looked a very different team that had lost to Crews and Alexander and would perform on a different level and claim the victory by laying out James Drake with Sweet Taste o' Professionalism (Wheelbarrow facebuster (Lee) / double knee gutbuster (Parker) combination) to pick up the W.

- After the match, Angel and Humberto would make their way out from the back with their Television Tag Team Championships slung over their shoulders. Humberto would say that he was looking forward to beating up a couple of nerds at WrestleRock and it would seem to be confirmed that Ever-Rise were the official challengers for the belt in two weeks time. Tom Phillips would also comment that both Angel and Humberyo both had the La Rebelión Amarilla logo emblazoned on their wrestling gears and that perhaps the old band was coming back together especially when other members of the faction were already part of the AWA roster.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- In the backstage wrestler’s weight room MVP and the HURT Business would have a run in and it would become quite heated and other wrestlers in the gym would do their best to intervene and play peacemakers. Montel would say that enough was enough and that he fully intended on finally slapping The New Day down where they belonged and that they had already spoken with Adam Pearce and a match was now in placed at WrestleRock where they would all compete in a six man tag team contest and that after the contest there would be no doubt in anyone’s mind who the real power brokers in the American Wrestling Association were.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Assistant General Manager Paige would announce the second qualifying match to challenge for the AWA Television Championship would take place next and it would be between Noam Dar and Ikeman Jiro, as well as revealing that the final qualifier next week would be a match between Flash Morgan Webster and Bestia 666 and the match between Dar and Jiro would happen right now.

o8pxtscbOsLLgKwV3Nr_0nYivM0D02bkqq0x7r6RIMni3KU4_uQ2x3JrNlbfeLI7VGPf8N1CmBXCBCarQR58LZtQE5uLY_AKLowDEF_XDE8F8DIcLZ2L0oAUgpA3APBKNNWalOJX1D6F1d0wORX8mp4

Finish: Dar and Jiro would have an intense high speed engagement, with both men really presenting AWA in a good light and with neither man at any point in the match did either man look slow or tied, with Noam picking up the win by colliding in Jiro with a brutal Nova Roller (Running enzuigiri) before transitioning it into a Champagne Superkneebar that would get Ikeman to tap out. Dar would look over the moon, with it being announced he would be involved in the contest to become the inaugural International Television Champion.

- After the match, the camera would cut backstage to Akira Tozawa who had been watching the match on a monitor and seemed to be scribbling down notes on a pad.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Cesaro would be backstage with Megan Morant. Cesaro would confirm that the bad blood between himself and Dr. Wagner, Jr. was far from being over - and was currently exploring options for a future singles match between the two of them. Cesaro though would introduce Megan to some of his friends with Jacob Fatu, Tiger Mask IV & Robbie Eagles and that he had grown sick and tired of the number games and that now he had backup he wasn’t worried about whatever goons Wagner, Jr.

- Jacob Fatu would pat Cesaro on the back and then directly address the Dagger Club and comment that there was nothing more embarrassing than a group of mercenaries that were willing to sell their soul and weren’t even be patched in any being made member of the actual group the Wagner, Jr. cared about. Fatu says he was very much looking forward to coming across Hall, Gambino, Fredricks, Mephisto or Dupree and that if that meant him climbing aboard a plane and flying express to either Japan or Mexico then so be it - and then perhaps Adam Pearce or whoever was actually calling the shots would actually consider booking him more often.

Finish: Dragunov and McIntyre would put on one hell of a contest, and it really felt like a changing of the guard and that Ilja was leveling up and would claim the victory by sailing through the air like a dart hitting a delicious Torpedo Moskau (Flying Headbutt) that would prove to be enough to keep Drew down for the three count. The cameras would really focus on the fact that McIntyre looked genuinely shocked to have suffered the loss, whilst Ilja would look absolutely thrilled with the result.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- AWA Owner Triple H and NWA Commissioner Chris Van Vliet would be shown shaking hand backstage before CVV would introduce Hunter to Lee Moriarty and explain to Lee that a deal had been agreed with New Japan’s Kenta Kobashi and that Lee would be spending some time as representative of the NWA in North America and that he expected to be a fighting champion and that he should expected to defend his belt at a moments notice.

- The meet and greet would be interrupted by wrestling veteran Steve Corino. Steve would say that this weird forbidden window or golden shower moment was sort of embarrassing and that he had no idea who this Lee Moriarty kid even was or why the AWA had even been invited to fake NWA’s GAB event and that his son Colby would have torn through the competition if he had actually been allowed to take part and would suggest that Colby get a shot at the belt. Moriarty would say he had no problem whipping the ass of a second generation loser who was just as much of a loser as his loser father.

- Corino would immediately slap Moriarty across the face and tensions would be clear - with Triple H telling both men to calm down. Steve would chuckle and say Colby might be coming for Moriarty's belt, but next week he was coming for Lee’s neck and that if Hunter didn’t make the match official then he would just find Lee next week and kick the crap out him in a classic 90s backstage brawl.

Finish: Asuka and Nikki would have a hard hitting spotfest and AWA would continue to showcase that the Women in the AWA were one of the biggest focal points of the brand reborn following the demise of the WWE. It would be Asuka who would pick up the win by dropping Nikki with a Spin Kick and then force Nikki to tap by locking the Asuka Lock.

- With the lock still in place, Kairi would emerge from the back and begin to assist Asuka in dishing out a post match beatdown. Before any real damage could occur Shotzi Blackheart and Rhea Ripley would emerge from the back to make the save and do their best to pull Cross out of danger as it was clear she was unable to defend herself. Out of nowhere Maki Itoh would slide into the ring with a steel chair in her hands and blast Ripley with a brutal steel chair shot as she would stand alongside The Kabuki Warriors as Shotzi would do her best to pull both Rhea and Nikki from the danger that was staring down at them from the ring.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Adam Pearce would make an announcement from his office and state that if Ronn Killings was looking to make an enemy of him then he had another thing coming and he had scoured the roster for the biggest son of a bitch he could find and had decided that at WrestleRock - Killings would be none other than the the man mountain Omos. And that he would be sitting in the front row in Indianapolis to see Omos tear the second rate failed popstar limb from limb at the biggest event in the history of the new AWA.

Finish: Priest and Theory would feature in a truly thrilling main-event with the match going past the twenty minute mark, with both men ending the contest drenched in their own sweat and having pulled the stops out of the back in a match that could have gone either way. The match would end with Theory lifting up Priest and nail him with the ATL to pick up the victory.

- Theory would grab a microphone and name drop Keith Lee and call out the champion and then make the point that since starting his time with the American Wrestling Association he was currently undefeated and that he couldn’t think anyone was more deserving of a shot than himself.

- Keith Lee would appear on the big screen with the belt over his shoulder and would chuckle to himself, before stating that as he said before anytime and anyplace and that at WrestleRock the main-event would be truly LIMITLESS!

A second match has been added to Heavy Metal Mania, featuring two women who are currently two of the hottest free agents in the Juicyverse. It has been rumored that both ladies are in talks with both UJWO & AAA - and could be working for both promotions in casual open contracts. Atsushi Onita has also commented that there is nothing more metal than two ladies that don't give a shit about putting their whole body on the line for the benefit of an onlooking audience. He also confirmed that German medieval rock/metal scene band Feuerschwanz would be unveiled as the first band who would be performing at Heavy Metal Mania.

Episode Two

- The premier episode of Fury would begin with the commentary team of Hugo Savinovich, José Manuel Guillén and Sam Adonis welcoming fans to the show and reminding viewers that this coming Sunday would see Alianza Azteca Asiatica and Game Changer Wrestling coming together for the special co-production ‘Once Upon A Time In Mexico’. The trio would then confirm that this weekend’s show would be the final date in Mexico for a while, with AAA traveling to Japan for the next few months as part of the promises to their global fan bases that were centrally focused in both Mexico and Japan.

* * * * * * * * * *

- The cameras would cut backstage to Ronda Rousey who was speaking with backstage interviewer Eve Torres. Ronda reached into a small velvet bag and pulled out a piece of hair and informed everyone that it was a trophy to remember her victory over Gisele Shaw. Ronda would then say that she was very much enjoying her time as part of AAA and that she was looking forward to jumping on a plane and spending some time in Japan - which would be extra special when TNA also went on tour in Japan. Ronda would confirm that she would be wrestling tonight and that she was looking forward to wrenching another clump of hair out of someone’s head and was laying down an open challenge to anyone in the back to face him later on tonight.

Finish: Black Taurus would be given his rematch at his old belt and the opening match of the night would be fought to the same standard as the first match between the pair at Guerra de Titanes. The match would conclude with the pair fighting on the turnbuckle with Luchasaurus throttling Taurus and nailing him with an Elevated Chokeslam to secure the victory and retain the strap.

- As Luchasaurus made his way to the back with the belt raising in the air, the rest of Los Mercenarios (Rey Escorpion, La Hiedra & Villano III, Jr.) would join Black Taurus in the ring. Rey Escorpion would grab a microphone and state that Taurus had been letting down the group and had seemed to be far more interested in making friends some dressing gown wearing geeks in New Japan rather than keeping hold of titles and worrying about his actual friends and that enough was enough and he was no longer welcome. The three of them would then pull extendable nights sticks and start beating the crap out of Black Taurus, before dragging him up and tossing him out over the top rope and out of the ring.

* * * * * * * * * *

- GCW’s Commissioner Mick Foley would feature in a video package in which he would reveal that at this weekend’s PPV - there would not just be one, but two women’s title matches and they would both see talent from both rosters going against each other. The first match would see Thunder Rosa defend her Reina de Reinas Championship against Saya Iida, whilst LuFisto would make her first defense as the GCW Womens Champion against Dark Sheik. Mick Foley would state that he was looking forward to both matches and that he was loving the opportunity to work alongside AAA.

- Foley would then announce that two further first round matches in the GCW Heavyweight Tournament would take place and that both matches would see signed GCW talent take on AAA stars, as well as an eight man Scramble match that would see talent from bothers roster competing with the added incentive of a future shot at the World Junior Heavyweight Championship, whether that be HAYATA or Master Wato following their match later on this evening.

Finish: Ronda Rousey would continue to prove herself as a weapon of mass destruction and would tear through Holidead with precision and power. Ronda would pick up the W, by holding Holidead in place and repeatedly kneeing her in the head forcing her to tap out from the sheer force of the blows of her driving knees.

- For the second week in a row, Ronda would take a pair of scissors and proceed to cut a clump of hair from Holidead’s head before taking hold of it and dropping it into her exclusive velvet bag.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Masakatsu Funaki would cut a promo backstage in Japanese [with subtitles] expressing his frustration of Naomichi abandoning M’s Alliance, and that now with both Marufuji and Mutoh having both turned their back on the group it was no falling apart and he had no interest in being part of a sinking ship and intended to end his career being part of something worthwhile and meaningful. The promo would be interrupted by Masato Tanaka, who would look annoyed by Funaki’s words and both men would have a heated staredown with both veterans not looking at all pleased with each other. Tanaka would tell Funaki to stay in the back and watch how three men who actually had honor dealt with a couple of young guns.

Finish: Nueva Generación Dinamita would be head and shoulders in quality superior than M’s Alliance, who noticeably looked offer kilter and unable to keep up with the speed and agility that El Cuatero, Sanso and Forastero brought to the table with Mochizuki being the man to suffer the loss after being nailed with a Springboard 450 Splash from Sanson to give NGD the victory.

- In the matches after-math, Funaki would be spotted standing on the entrance ramp shaking his head and just looked extremely disappointed as he would take an M’s Alliance t-shirt and just drop it on the floor in disgust before disappearing backstage.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Dragon Lee & Dralistico the current AAA World Tag Team Championships would speak backstage with Eve Torres and speak on their intention of defending their straps his coming weekend at ‘Once Upon A Time In Mexico’ and that they had been watching back the Greetings From Asbury Park Show and couldn’t think of a better team to challenge than Bear Country and would throw shade that they had considered facing Hustle & Power, but they had wanted to face opponents with some actual character and personality and they weren’t able to find either of these - but Bronson and Boulder looked like they at least brought some sort of challenge to the table.

- Dragon Lee would then add that after they no doubt retain the belts, he and his brother fully intended on turning up to AEW Revolution with the intention of their defending the gold against a team of Tony Khan’s choice and perhaps show FTR what an actual legitimate tag team looked like.

Finish: Master Wato and HAYATA would feature in a high octane contest, with the fans being treated to a competitive championship bout. It would be the champion who would walk away top trumps though, as he connects with an impressive PK to a seated Master Wato before transitioning into a crucifix pin to seal the victory.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Footage from earlier in the night would show four masked wrestlers arriving at the arena, with Sam Adonis informing the fans that the wrestlers in question were DMT Azul, Komander, Templario and Mistico and that the four men had more recently been working for CMLL - but that arrival seemed to suggest that perhaps the four men were on the verge of signing with Alianza Azteca Asiatica.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Go Shiozaki would speak backstage with Eve Torres. Shiozaki would make a point that Escalera Real continue to be the biggest force in the wrestling scene and that he alongside Cibernetico and Dr. Wagner, Jr. had been very impressed with the Dagger Club and was flirting with the idea of fully patching in the group and becoming fully fledged members of Escalera Real. Shiozaki would name drop Cody Hall and Karl Fredricks and hoped the pair would impress tonight against Los Perros Del Mal. He would then inform the fans that he would feature in tonight’s main-event and was looking forward to reminding the world exactly why he was the biggest name in Japan and was now one the most sought after international stars in professional wrestling.

Finish: The match would see two teams vying for recognition battling each other in an honest, but hard hitting contest. Eita and Kotaru though noticeably had better chemistry, with the pair managing to isolate Cody Hall long enough for Eita to connect with a Imperial Uno (Superkick) followed up by Suzuki taking hold of the big man with the Blue Destiny (Gory neckbreaker) to secure the victory.

- After the bell the rest of the Dagger Club would emerge from the back with clear intention of throwing a beating down on Eita and Suzuki, with Gino Gambino, Mephisto and Dupree stacking the numbers against Suzuki and Eita in a five-on-two beatdown. Out from the back though would emerge backup with Ikuta Hidaka and YO-HEY - with the addition of recent signings of Daga, El Texano, Jr. & Shun Skywalker balancing the numbers and causing the Dagger Club to flee.

* * * * * * * * * *

- In the backstage interview area Togi Makabe would address the camera - with Tomoaka Honma, Takashi Iizuka, Hiroshi Tenzan and Yuji Nagata standing behind him. Togi would introduce the fans to a new collective - the Elder Dragons. Togi would then turn his attention to this weekend’s show with GCW and make the point that as of yet Rhino was without an opponent and so would demand that Rhino put the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship on the line and that he intended on claiming his first world championship belt in over a decade before he even considered hanging up his boots.

Finish: Shiozaki and Chessman would feature in a high quality main-event, with the fans in attendance left wanting more. Go would end the contest by crunching into Chessman with a perfectly executed Strong Arm Lariat to seal the deal.

- In a post-match celebration, Go would be joined in the ring by AAA Interim Mega Champion Cibernetico. The face of the company would grab a microphone and make his intentions known that he fully intended on defend his strap this weekend and has been informed by management that he would be facing 2 Cold Scorpio and was looking forward to having a chance to retire an old and decrepit veteran, so he could focus on taking the belt away from Vikingo who had been holding the other Mega strap for far too long.

- Once Upon A Time In Mexico would begin with Hugo Savinovich and Sam Adonis introducing fans to the pre-show, with Savinovich informing the fans that Hora Cero would exclusively feature Alianza Azteca Asiatica talent with a total of three matches added to the card - with Hora Cero ending with the GHC National Championship match between reigning champion Prince Puma and selected challenger Mr. Iguana.

The night would see Kureijiburu (Takashi Iizuka & Yuji Nagata) team up together for the first time as representatives of the ‘Elder Dragons’ and would be accompanied to the ring by Tomoaka Honma. Kongo would be represented by Tadasuke & Hi69, with Shuji Kondo coming out to stand in their corner. The match would serve as a perfect opening to the event, with both teams warming up the crowd and also giving some representation to their respective units. Tadasuke would claim the victory for Kongo by lifting up Iizuka and hitting the Last Ride.

Winners: Kongo (Tadasuke & Hi69)

The match would be contested under Lucha Rules with no tag needed -in what would very much prove to be a high speed contest in which everyone involved would feature in a number of aerial spots and high impact moments. The match’s final sequence would see Bestia dropped down onto the canvas with the Martinete (Double Arm Piledriver) only for Amy Rose to come springboarding off the rope with a diving crossbody taking out both Abismo and Chik Tormenta in the same sequence Arez would slide into the ring with real intention, and claim into the back of Amy Rose’s neck with a Discus Clothesline - only for Marco Corleone to push off the ropes and knock Arez out cold with a Knockout Punch in what would prove to be the final move of the contest and enough to give LIA the trios win.

Winners: Los Ingobernables de Azteca ( Marco Corleone, La Bestia del Ring & Amy Rose)

Hugo Savinovich would inform the viewers at home that the winner of the Luchadora Battle Royal would earn themselves a future shot at the Reina de Reinas Championship. An early alliance would form between MIZUKI and Reika Saiki, with the pair keen to remove some of the competition although the game plan would actually backfire as the other four women would focus on the Japanese pair instead and the duo would be the first to be eliminated in quick succession.

The next elimination would be Lady Shani - who would be crushed in the corner with a Forearm Smash from Nikkita Lyons. Nikkita would continue to look strong in the match and earn the next elimination, this time driving her foot square in Kimber Lee’s neck with a Tornado Kick. This would leave the final two being Nikkita Lyons and Faby Apache. The two women would have a solid fighting sequence for the rest of the match. The former four time champion would come close to winning the match, but this was most certainly Lyon’s best performance since signing with AAA and she would cap off the night by hitting another Tornado Kick that would drop Faby to the canvas and secure her the victory.

Winner: Nikkita Lyons

Hora Cero would conclude with the GHC National Championship match with ROH’s Prince Puma continuing his run as champion since winning the belt at the second night of Bound By Honor. Despite the very comedic element that Mr. Iguana brought to the ring there was no denying that he was a talented individual and the two men would have real chemistry that would translate in an entertaining contest. Both men would pull out some high intensity moves whether it be Puma hitting Jumping Knee Strikes, Spinning Wheel Kicks and Backflip Kicks or Iguana connecting with Tiger Feint Kicks, Diving Crossbodys and a variety of hurricanrana variations. The contest would end with Puma picking up Iguana and dropping down hard on the mat with Vertigo (Spinning Michinoku Driver II) before Puma would clamber up onto the turnbuckle and coming crashing down hard onto Mr. Iguana with a 630 Senton to claim the victory.

Winner: Prince Puma

- With Prince Puma still in the ring celebrating his successful title defense, Amakusa would emerge from the back making his AAA debut and slowly make his way down the entrance ramp with a microphone hand. Amakusa would confirm he had signed with Alianza Azteca Asiatica - and after productive contractual talks it had had been agreed that he would make his in-ring debut at the Destination PPV and would challenge for the GHC National Championship and he personally hoped that Prince Puma was still the champion because he couldn’t think of a better opponent to face on his debut.

The main show would begin with stars from both GCW & AAA competing in an all out melee of the contest - with the knowledge that all that would take for the match to end would be a single pin or submission. And it was clear that the element of GCW fans in attendance were loving that one of the staples of the promotion was featured as part of the main-show. With eight men fighting not only for pride, but also a future shot at the AAA World Junior Heavyweight Championship - there was a high level of desire and want present in the contest. The match would come to a head with Marshe Rockett and Tony Deppen left in the ring, and it looked like Deppen had claimed the victory after he had nailed Marshe in the head with the Knee Trembler. Out of nowhere though springboarding off the ropes Miguel would land down onto Deppen’s neck with Diving Meteora taking Deppen out - with an very opportunistic Aerostar sliding into the ring and covering Marshe Rockett to win the Scramble Match.

Winner: Aerostar

The match between Spears and Horus would be the first exclusive GCW versus AAA match of the evening, with the added incentive of joining the likes of Tiger Raj Singh and Rampage Brown in the second round. Joint commentary team of Hugo Savinovich and Dave Prazak would remind fans that the winners of both matches would be placed into a triple threat match in the second round against an opponent that was yet to be determined by GCW Commissioner Mick Foley. The match would show Shawn Spears in a much more positive light than after his embarrassing loss to Pokotan. It would be MexiSquad’s Rey Horus though who would pick the victory after nailing Speas with a destructive Tornado Dragon (Satellite DDT).

Winner: Rey Horus

Saya Iida would be given a massive opportunity by challenging for the Reina de Reinas Championship and Saya would give a good account of herself and would even come close to winning the belt after nailing Rosa with the Super Strong Machine (Forward Somersault Cutter). The nearfall though would really wake up Thunder and force her to step up her game and drive through the contest and would lay out Saya Iida with Fire Thunder Rosa to retain the strap.

Winner: Thunder Rosa

The second tournament match of the night would be Dagger Club’s Renee Dupree taking on former NXT UK talent Sha Samuels. The match would very much be a showcase of just how dangerous Samuels was and a reminder to the wrestling universe what the ‘East End Butcher’ was capable of. Sha would end the contest by absolutely destroying Dupree’s chest with brutal Mongolian Chops before absolutely crunching Renee with an Exploder Suplex to seal the deal.

Winner: Sha Samuels

The GCW Womens Championship had been missing from the scene for six years - but with two high caliber women competing for the belt the prestige of the belt was going up like a rocket launching into space. Both women wouldn’t shy away from using various elements underneath the ring whether it being wooden doors, steel chairs or even a few light-tubes and it wasn’t at all surprising that both women were battered and bruised with blood from both wrestlers starting to spill out all over the canvas. LuFisto would look to end the encounter by dropping Sheik down hard onto the mat with Emerald Flowsion before clambering up onto turnbuckles and leaping off and coming down hard with Diving Star (Diving Headbutt), only to be left stunned as Sheik would lift her shoulders up to break the count. Sheik would then transition her body and stun everyone including LuFisto by locking the Dark Gate (Modified gogoplata) and forcing the champion to tap out, releasing the hold instantly.

Winner: Dark Sheik

- After the contest, Sheik would reach for a microphone as LuFisto was moving towards the back and tell to hold her horses. Sheik would ask if LuFisto was doing anything next Friday - because she was keen, she was happy to offer a rematch for the belt on the next episode of Fury.

- GCW Commissioner Mick Foley would emerge from the back and congratulate everyone from both GCW and AAA for making tonight’s show a roaring success - before turning his attention to Game Changer Wrestling’s next show Chi-Town Chaos on the 26th March. Foley would announce that the final four matches in the 1st Round would take place at the next PPV and that they would be:

Elias Samson vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
The Blade vs. Odyssey Jones
Trey Miguel vs. Silas Young

Jordan Devlin vs. Solo Sikoa

- Foley would close by thanking everyone for attending tonight and was looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago in a few weeks time.

The fans had been looking forward to seeing Cibernetico take on 2 Cold Scorpio - but this would very much be the story of the match that never started once again. With Cibernetico already in the ring, 2 Cold Scorpio would make his way down to the ring only to jumped from behind by Cody Hall, Gino Gambino and Mephisto beating the crap out of 2 Cold before setting up a wooden table and sending Scorpio slamming through it with a Triple Powerbomb. With splinters scattered all over the floor at ringside, the trio would then slide 2 Cold Scorpio into the ring.

The referee would be hesitant, but Cibernetico would demand that he officially begin despite 2 Cold Scorpio unable to stand on his own two feet. Cibernetico would set up a pile of chairs on the floor before dragging Scorpio up to his feet and bringing him down brutally onto the chair with the Apocaliptica (Chokeslam) to win the shambles of the contest.

Winner: Cibernetico

- As Cibernetico was being handed the Interim Mega Championship, out of nowhere El Hijo del Vikingo would come crashing into the ring and wipe Cibernetico off his feet by smashing the legitimate Mega Championship into his face. Before the Dagger Club could react - out from the back would emerge Laredo Kid, Ninja Mack & Drago with the three men battling at ringside with Hall, Gambino and Mephisto.

- With absolutely no honor Karl Fredricks and Renee Dupree would emerge from the back with intent, only for MexiSquad’s Rey Horus and Flamita to also come out from the wings and start battling - before the music belonging to Bandido would begin to play and he would reunite with his former MexiSquad team mates - that would lead to the entire of the Dagger Club being chased backstage by Vikingo’s backup with all of the the Technicos having a warm embrace in the middle of the ring, as a bloody faced Cibernetico skulked out of the ring.

- Hugo Savinovich would comment that it looked like everything was setup for an epic match at Destination next month, and that without a numbers advantage especially now that AAA would be spending the next few months in Japan - the Unification match for the Mega Championship had all the makings of being one of the best matches of the year.

Dragon Lee & Dralistico would continue to show themselves as one of the more impressive tag team in the scene at the moment and quite comprehensively defend their belt in impressive style against Bear Country - with the Mexican siblings hitting the double team-move that was now being referred to by commentary as Adrenalina Azteca (Dragon Lee - Desnucadora (Vertical suplex powerbomb) followed by Dralistico - Shooting Star Press) to claim the victory. Both teams would shake hands after the contest, before LIA would remain in the ring.

Winners: Los Ingobernables de Azteca (Dralistico & Dragon Lee)

- Dralistico would name drop FTR and make the point that he and his brother were continuing to watch the AEW World Tag Team Champions from a distance and sooner rather than later they would cross paths and the fans would understand who the real top team in professional wrestling was.

- Dragon Lee would then confirm that he and his brother would be present at AEW Revolution and that they would be defending their straps against Brutus and Julius a.k.a. The Creed Brothers and he was personally looking forward to seeing what All Elite Wrestling looked like in person.

The night would come to its conclusion with an epic encounter between Rhino and Makabe - with Dave Prazak informing the fans that the last time these people had met the year had been in a Street Fight in 2011 in Philadelphia and with very laxed rules and a recognized GCW referee in the ring it wouldn’t take very long for the match to turn into an all out Hardcore Match. There would be a number of memorable moments that would really stand out in the contest:

- Togi Makabe would come at Rhino hard and after dropping him down onto the mat with a well placed Spear before taking hold of a kendo stick and bringing it down repeatedly over Rhino’s back until the wooden would actual snap from the sheer impact of the blow and leave Rhino’s black looking incredible red and sore.

- Rhino though would wrestle with real intent and would set up one table vertically in the corner of the ring on a slant, whilst setting up a second on the opposite side of the ring. After working Togi with a number of heavy clubs to the back, he would drag him towards the horizontal table and pull him up onto the second rope and send him smashing through the table with the Rhino Driver. Rhino though, rather than going for the cover, would take hold of Togi and slam him through the table with a Pumphandle Slam.

- Rhino would carry on the war path and look totally determined to retain his belt by trapping Togi against the turnbuckle and trap his arm on the other side of the ropes and would then proceed to take a steel chair and smash it against Togi’s head over and over until blood would start to trickle and would begin to mess into his peroxide hair. Rhino would grab hold of Togi and then throw him over his shoulders with a Belly-to-belly suplex crashing down on a table carcass - with Togi managing to survive by kicking out of a pin attempt at the last possible moment. Rhino would have a total look of disbelief on his face, as the referee would state it had just been two.

- Togi would look absolutely exhausted and drenched with his own blood, he looked more like someone who had been the victim of a violent crime - but the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion would continue to show fight and really turn up the heat by taking hold of Rhino with the Double underhook brainbuster and then would quick off his feet and clamber onto the bottom rope and launch off crashing down with the King Kong Knee Drop. Rhino would roll his shoulders up though to survive a pin attempt - only for Makabe drag ‘The War Machine’ up to his feet and nail him with a killing blow in the form of the King Kong Lariat and achieve a three count finish.

Winner: Togi Makabe

- Togi would be presented with the UJWO Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship and would have a massive smile on his face. Togi would be joined by the entirety of the Elder Dragons (Tomoaka Honma, Takashi Iizuka, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Yuji Nagata) in a post-match celebration as the show would come to a close and fade to black.

Episode Nine
Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Japan

- The show would open with some modest pyro in front of a packed house of 8 000 fans at Okada Prefectural Gymnasium. The announcers put over that the New Japan Cup 2022 event in 5 days at Osaka Jo Hall is also sold out! We are at our final stop on our journey before we reach our destination with both quarter and semi finals decided tonight. While this may seem jolting, commentary also immediately informs us that after Okada’s actions last week on World, Gedo and NJPW General Manager Mr. Kobashi were forced to have a meeting to discuss punishment. Due to Okada assaulting multiple officials including striking down Kobashi himself, Okada has been fined 100 000 Yen. On top of this, he has been disqualified from the New Japan Cup and suspended from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Rush will receive a direct bye into the semi finals as a result of this as well.

- We go right from the Okada announcement to our first bout of the evening, a quarter final match for the New Japan Cup.

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Samoa Joe
iEV4_uJ8AHWlj34XBRCGb-SNyXev0GwYHXd0D7EDXd8Vip7wm_mQV67-PgNvc-vsGBUmrk6B72zT8hmhgiHst3Sqa6KIoe9ZidGHRiPZJPKjHZuWvw0dkJjnxL0wcrQiy_E2hW-9C4q-hdHqk0ap_MQ

A dream match up on free tv, this is the type of thing you can expect to see on a NJPW tournament under this ownership. Joe would land some heavy strikes early and slam Tanahashi down hard, working the infamous back of the Ace. More chops in the corner and Pele kick by Joe for an emphatic 1 count. Single leg crab by Joe but Tana gets to the ropes. Joe misses on a hammer throw lariat and Tanahashi takes advantage with a Sling Blade. Tanahashi hulks up and hits a brainbuster with a pin but Joe kicks out. Hi Fly Flow attempt but Joe was playing possum and rolls out of the way and snipes the legs with a deep Boston crab. Tana gets to the ropes after a while but the damage is done to the lower back. Joe zones in with some kicks. Tana rolls out to get some distance but Joe’s predatory instincts kick in and he stalks him.

He lands some punches but Tana manages to reverse and throw him into the steel barricade.They brawl throwing fists, very uncharacteristic of Tanahashi.Joe overpowers him and sends him into the ring post but again Tana manages to reverse and Joe crashes into it shoulder first. Both men are hurt and take their time getting back in the ring, beating the 20 count. Tanashi takes off and goes for another Sling Blade but Joe catches him with one arm midair and sits his ass down with a vicious Uranage! Kicks out at two! Joe is looking to finish off the Ace. Running sidewalk slam!

He taunts the crowd and drags Tanahashi into the corner and onto the turnbuckle.He positions him on his shoulder for the Muscle Buster. Tanahashi struggles and manages to turn into a tornado DDT! He releases his battle spirit with a thundering roar. He grabs with a full nelson from behind and goes for a dragon suplex…but his back gives out over the weight of his opponent and the damage done.Joe springs into action and loads up his right arm for a massive lariat. Tanashia however ducks under and puts in a full nelson again! He yells even louder now. DRAGON SUPLEX! Tanahashi kips up and points to the sky as the crowd goes ballistic. He climbs the turnbuckle and struggles to do a guitar taunt. He leaps into the air. HI FLY FLOW hits perfectly.

Tanahashi has overcome the odds once again and moves on to the semi finals of the New Japan Cup taking place later tonight in the dual main events!

Malakai Black vs. Konosuke Takeshita
4Gd2E9M5k66nGg9ruw8lGSdyoMz2n1uiQEI4wQYTLKlrYsC3WCOQykW-_VqvTGZ4zna7nKeG9NsX40yKMxaBjJR211l6tOB562FwMf_ST-IMQF2JJGEi8z4cqTdKti9S2u-raHgxJo3qE7A60AtPWPk

The action would roll on as the commentary team would segway into the 2nd of 3 quarter New Japan quarter final matchups featuring Takeshita and Okada’s sworn rival Malakai Black.

Konosuke would come out to a roaring ovation having earned the respect of the fans with a victory over Kota Ibushi last week. In contrast, Malakai Black would enter to a chorus of boos, being the sole reason their World Champion not being here tonight and potentially being suspended for the foreseeable future. He would come out to his elaborate and demonic entrance followed by Buddy Murphy.

Both men would slowly approach measuring each other out. Konosuke Would attempt a handshake but Black laughs him off. They continue to circle each other for a few long seconds and finally meet for an elbow and collar lock up. Before either can take advantage a man in a black hoodie grabs Buddy Murphy and drags him over the railing into the crowd. The mystery man then grabs a chair from under a standing nearby fan and begins to beat Murphy with it senselessly. Security tries to intervene but are also met with chair shots. The referee and both competitors now are looking confused. The mystery man hops the railing and taunts Malakai Black. More security appears and are discarded with ease, one is even laid out with a familiar looking wristlock lariat. Malakai ignores the referee and slides out of the ring and the hooded man removes his hood. It’s Okada! He throws the chair at Malakai’s head who barely moves in time. Takeshita goes to the outside now and tries to confront Okada but is met instantly with a haymaker. Black and Okada would then brawl out and spill into the crowd. The bell would ring announcing that Black has been DQ’d. Police officers finally show up into the crowd and after more fists are thrown, both men are actually restrained and finally handcuffed and escorted out of the building in dramatic fashion!

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita via interference disqualification

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Back from break we see a stressed out Kevin Owens looking for the Young Bucks backstage. He comes across a letter addressed to him. He opens it and after reading quickly he crumples it up and throws it in the trash. He punches a huge dent in a locker before storming off.

- We are also then presented with a match graphic. It is official! The World of Stardom title match at the New Japan Cup Finals PPV will not be a triple threat between champion Io Shirai, fellow stablemate Utami Hayashishita and Mayu Iwatami!

- The commentary desk would appear distraught once again and let the viewers know that after the next match, Kenta Kobashi will come to the ring to address the situation that unfolded with Okada and Black earlier tonight.

Will Ospreay vs. Dijak w/ Mustafa Ali
lAaB0w0apDt6FN9kCCeKGVC8Y2bAMUdnpBwdamMP1jtRMu3jYql8OSAgLOejCsV7hJ-OjkXvmr_GRxpTiqhwjma6cTBnLhOOagDnYWnk-cVqSQGwKLWjtOxPJd26HJYnW1ys5LmZx3r65GYcYFlXVmM

Will Ospreay would come out with his crew United Empire, however they would retreat to the back after their group pose. Dijak would be with Mustafa Ali to no one's surprise. Dijak would use his strength advantage to leverage an advantage during the initial look up and club his forearm over Will’s back. Knee strikes from Dijak. Ospreay dodges an ominous looking lariat and hits an enziguri. More back and forth. Dijak would focus on the left knee of Ospreay with a well placed chop block. He holds down Will for a while but Ospreay eventually powers out of it. Will looking more like a babyface in this match. Dijak misses a spear attempt while Ospreay is in the corner. Cheeky Nandos. Storm Breaker attempt fails as Will’s knee buckles under him. Lariat by Dijak, followed by a hammerthrow into the corner. Running boot cracks Will’s jaw. Dijak gets him on the top turnbuckle and jumps backwards for a picture perfect Spanish Fly. Cover.

Will kicks out.Feast Your Eyes attempt by Dijak after multiple stomps. Will manages to wiggle out of it and counters with a scorpion kick the moment he gets his footing on the mat. Hidden Blade to the back of the head out of nowhere as Dijak falls to one knee a second prior.

Dijak barely manages a kick out. Ali gets on the apron and Will aggressively walks over to challenge him. They argue on the apron with the referee watching on and Dijak is given time to recover. He gets to his feet and charges at Will from behind with a big boot. Will moves out of the way at the last moment and Dijak crunches Ali’s nose into his face with his heel. Will maneuvers behind Dijak and hooks both his arms to lift the big man onto Will’s back. His legs are shaking but he doesn’t quit, STORM BREAKER!

Will Ospreay grabs his face and the his knee before Red Shoes helps him to his feet to raise his hand. The moment is instantly cut short as Mustafa Ali hits him in the back of the head with his forearm and immediately puts the boots to him. Dijak approaches in a bit of a daze and picks up Will and drives his knee into his skull with Feast Your Eyes. Ali would continue to yell instructions and asks Dijak to hold him down. Ali climbs the turnbuckles and hits the 054 and lands directly on Will’s already damaged left knee. Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher would finally come out to make the save…too little too late.

Winner: Will Ospreay via pinfall - Storm Breaker - 9:45

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Coming back from the commercial break, Kenta Kobashi would walk down to the ring as the crowd claps and cheers.

87KSKUci89WsGBxDoRDBv7BbfuGAiiRcr6RpA8ydtFyixgTnTtfJ_lhPainvrBnK-o4vunurrH2TYpbked8WyPrf5Anr1yuLW6qlC6c6C0y2lqSWg5LQXd4RpM3B1LPbLnn4-Fxdrelg12UkBA3tH7M

- Kobashi thanks the crowd and says that he will not take up too much of their time. He first states that both Malakai Black and Kazuchika Okada have been released from custody off the premises and no charges have been pressed currently against Okada for trespassing and violating his suspension. However due to the continued attempts by both men to cause destruction, New Japan feels like this cannot be resolved with sanctions and fines any longer. Both men have caused far too much damage already and New Japan can longer be held responsible for this type of chaos.

- Kobashi then drops the big news. After speaking with both men privately, New Japan has decided to lift Kazuchika Okada’s suspension. However, he will now be obligated to face Malakai Black at the New Japan Finals PPV. On top of this, he will have to put his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Finally, while the IWGP title will indeed be defended and can change hands, New Japan refuses to take any responsibility for the damage either man may do to each other in the process. Therefore both men have signed liability waivers, as this match will also serve as punishment for both of their actions. The stipulation for this can only be:

Barbed Wire Death Match!

- Kobashi would then bashfully give the mic to the production crew and calmly walk to the back.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -—-

- As Kobasho exits, Wonder of Stardom champion Syuri’s music would begin and she would march with purpose to the ring and demand a microphone of her own.

- Syuri would begin by burying her last opponent Hyper Misao. She continues on that they send a rookie from the minor leagues as a challenger because no one in this locker room has the guts to face her. She continues on to say that she is bored once again, and that if anyone in the back finds the courage to fight her, she would be happy to send them to the hospital. Before she can mutter another word, Candice LaRae appears from the back in her gear and marches towards the ring. Syuri looks unimpressed and holds her title in the air. Syuri and Candice come face to face and are talking trash. Syruri grabs the referee by the collar and throws him towards the bell keeper area demanding the match start.

Syuri vs. Candice LaRae

The moment the referee turns his back to signal the bell Syuri inexplicably clobbers Candice’s forehead with the titles and throws it under the bottom rope to the outside immediately afterwards. She puts Candice’s lifeless body in a triangle choke as the referee checks on them and the match is over before it starts. The crowd is raging. Syuri walks backwards down the ramp trash talking and holding up her title again. Until a familiar music hits and she stops dead in her tracks! It’s Meiko Satomura! Syruri turns around and there is a long stare down ending with Meiko pointing at Syuri’s Stardom belt before Syuri backs off and we go to commercial.

Winner: Syuri

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- When we return we get word from management that Syuri will defend her Wonder of Stardom title at the New Japan Cup Finals PPV against Meiko Satomura.

- We go to a pre taped Jushin Thunder Liger sit down interview between The Best Friends and DIY for their upcoming title match. When asked how DIY are going to prepare for the unorthodox team of Orange Cassidy and Trent Baretta, Gargano would answer that they were once considered unorthodox as well once upon a time. He continues to say that he respects their work but DIY is the workhorse of this company. Ciampa would rudely cut him off and say that he disagrees and that he doesn’t respect the Best Friends. He says that Orange Cassidy and Trent are lazy and DIY was never a joke team that never brought home the goal. They aren’t on DIY’s level and it’s up to them to prove the belong in the ring with him. When asked to respond, Orange Cassidy would simply answer “Whatever”. Trent is asked if he has anything to add to which he replies “Yes, we’re going to beat you guys for those titles. See you later” .

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Next we go to the ring where Funaki is ready to mediate the contract signing between John Cena and Intercontinental Champion MJF.

VtfAZRSFLv2rEIcmzHOzqbgJLQ1_CeEUDEYboldwMY8VaT64Cx_MSG_F2j83CcjYrwMJS2uyRGymR7-vFtNEl1cuegyBM721p-3dz36rgXxM9Y8RM3dVKepfho7h9VtpiJWJvaPgLq1a5q78sqe75Ek

- The champion would come out first with his heavy Maclin by his side. The crowd jeers him mercilessly and he waves them off and taunts in the middle of the ring. John Cena would come out second in a pristine suit and a thunderous reaction from the Osaka faithful. Both men would stare each other down before Maclin would cockily come between them and eye down Cena for his boss.

- MJF would remind Cena that Maclin would love to go another round with him and put him out of action, and he wouldn’t want to miss his big chance at a title this upcoming weekend so they should both sit down and talk like proper gentlemen.

- Cena would agree but begin to tear MJF down a few pegs, firstly reminding him he beat him clean as a whistle in front of the world at New Japan anniversary. He would remind him that they do not call him Big Match John for nothing and this upcoming weekend, he would show MJF personally why that is.

- MJF would counter that Cena is not the only one here that thrives under pressure. He reminds him how quickly he won this very title from Will Ospreay while Cena was still struggling to get his first PPV win. MJF says that Cena has lost a step and that he very much can see him right now. He sees a slow, old man who got lucky once. It won’t happen twice.

- Cena would say that while it is true that it took him some time to get his footing in a new company, the time for failure is over. He says if MJF can see him then he can also see the guy that is about to crush his dream, like he has crushed the dreams of so many young blossoming wrestlers in the past and snatch that Intercontinental title away from him. He says he is going to humble MJF for once in his life, and then he can thank him for the rub, kid.

- MJF would turn beet red and say that Cena made the biggest mistake of his career embarrassing him at Anniversary and an even bigger one now calling him a kid and underestimating him. He says a cornered animal is the most vicious. He demands the pen from Funaki and signs the contract. Cena simply does the same. They then both stand up from the table and face off again. Once again Maclin interferes but MJF pulls him off and says let’s go. Cena turns his back to taunt the crowd and MJF immediately signals to Maclin to attack. However Cena sees him coming and nails Attitude Adjustment onto the table! MJF grabs his hair and runs away in disbelief as Maclin lay motionless in a mess of broken wood.

The Clinic (Britt Baker, Mickie James, Kylinn King) and Kris Statlander vs. Oedo Tai (Bea Priestley, Starlight Kid, Momo Watanabe, Suzu Suzuki)

The match would combine two feuds and be chaotic as you would imagine. Statlander and Bea Priestley would end up brawling in the crowd and into the concession stands, never to return. The ones left in ring would take turns brutalizing each other back and forth in a pretty tight affair. The match would come to an abrupt end after Momo and Suzu would pull Mickie and Britt off the apron and throw them into the barricades. Starlight Kid would hit a nasty dropkick directly on the knee of Kylin King and hitting a frog splash disregarding the referee checking her for injury. She rolls her up quickly after

Winners: Oedo Tai

Britt and Mickie would lick their wounds and stare down the champions celebrating with their faction in the ring.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Back from commercials once again, we would see back to back promotional segments. The first would see Miro taunting Toru Yano after attacking him last week and destroying his DVD stand. He claims this was God’s will and he is his champion after all. He says Toru is no better than a dog, and if he wants his KOPW trophy back, he will have to fight him in a dog cage match.

- The second would be an emotional montage featuring Shibata. Shibata would talk about his devastating injury and almost facing death. He talks about thinking he would never be able to move again let alone wrestle. He says he poured his entire passion into teaching new students his skillset because he believed he would never be able to use them himself ever again. He says that regardless of the risks, he cannot let House of Black and Brody King get away with their crimes and assaults any longer. He says that this weekend, for the Never Openweight title, The Bully will face The Wrestler.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- The following two matches would be the main events to close out the show and determine the two finalists to the New Jap Cup.

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Rush
e0C-dYfBDTsH1d2V7EfMhlwu9DnRd0J9kda1PVavY7x-7GBUW_8ct10qkEyo8f0d8pfOHgL4u7gNgcVCP00VgnWjJ6cPJ1wE53mYzUWeboU17GPMudv38EiWjs-NgHWNOVT9lt54rnNlpGAW0KEEirs

Rush would come out first alongside Andrade to back him up. They would taunt the crowd on the way down the ramp. Tanahashi would come out second to the usual fanfare of the Japanese crowd for their Ace.

Rush would be the fresher competitor due to the late bye caused by Okada’s expulsion from the tournament. Tanahashi would also be a bit worse for wear with his back being worked on in the previous match. However, The Ace would not back down in front of Rush or his cohort.

While Rush would use his smashmouth style early on to get some heavy strikes in, every time Tanahashi would get back up and counter the last powerful move, frustrating the young Mexican talent. Tanahashi would hit the ropes likely looking for his patented sling blade but Andrade holds his feet. The crowd boos and Tanashi tries to scold him but eats a forearm to the back of the head from Rush for his trouble. Rush hits a basement drop kick to the back of a sitting Tana to follow up. A quick cover is easily kicked out of however.

Brainbuster attempt by Rush is thwarted and Tanahashi builds his comebacks. Andrade gets on the apron to a chorus of boos. But out comes The Stone Pitbull to confront Andrade! He is out here clearly to settle the score after Andrade helped Rush steal a victory from him last week. Andrade tries to fight him but Ishii knocks him down with a lariat and hits a brainbuster onto the floor.

Back in the ring this time Rush is the one distracted and Tana hits a dragon suplex followed by a slingblade. Tana goes to the top rope but Rush desperately dives at him and knocks him to a sitting position on the turnbuckle. Rush pulls the legs out to bring tana down the hard way onto the mat. Tana is stunned. Rush taunts the crowd and goes to the opposing corner and drags his right foot to prep the Bull Rush dropkick. He launches himself for corner dropkick but Tana moves at the very last moment and Rush crashes and burns. Tanahashi climbs the turnbuckles and rocks his air guitar. HIGH! FLY! FLOW!

Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi via pinfall (High Fly Flow) at 18:00

Hiroshi would celebrate while grabbing his back to the crowd’s delight. Rush would roll out of the ring in disgust and meet up with a beat up Andrade and they would bicker on the ramp.

We would move on to the final match of the evening after the commercial break.

Will Ospreay vs Konosuke Takeshita
22XmIm6uLKwmq3n_Rw5hna8cMwrhCKoc9iNnBfqd-PbMj3IpQreZs3Yg5ZwG3n_LpQ6ZlnFFYilrreaWjnCykimjtRfD_cdMzAcS83LBaafqNBj_NAz41-aZsXd9104UzxMPlQPSQ8H6XIyC1dsKt4c

The final bout of the evening would begin with the relatively young phenom Takeshita versus the brash and jubilant Will Ospreay, leader of the United Empire. Ospreay would come alone this time as well, regardless of getting jumped at the end of the last match. His pride perhaps getting the better of him or maybe he wants to show some respect to his opponent by meeting him on even grounds. Hard to tell with the enigmatic Ospreay, being as equally dashing and he can be conniving as he is. Takeshita would come out second and the crowd would still shockingly be fully behind him. This obviously bothers Ospreay inside the ring.

One for the ages as far as television matches go and perhaps the start of a budding rivalry in New Japan. Despite having been in matches earlier in the evening and Ospreay himself being attacked post match, neither man would show any sign of fatigue. A collar and elbow tie up to begin would simply devolve into an exchange of forearm strikes which Takeshita would win. His follow up lariat however is easily sidestepped by the sneaky brit who cleared lead him in for a sharp kick to the back of the knee immediately followed by a neck breaker.Ospreay would go in for a rudimentary pin to start depleting his opponent’s energy supplies.

Back on their feet Will continues to maintain control of the match by lifting Takeshita up with a butterfly suplex. He would pin Takeshita who would kick out easily again but this time Ospreay seems to wince after the suplex lift. He is favoring his left knee on the way back up and checks it quickly for damage.

Pump kick by Ospreay is dodged by Takeshita. Snap German counter by Takeshita. Wil completes the rotation and lands on his feet. Flying knee by Will by Konosuke catches him mid air. Power bomb attempt by Takeshita is countered by Will into a hurricanrana and sends him into the turnbuckle. Takeshita stops himself from hitting by putting his hands up. Will rushes him from behind but eats a back elbow to the mouth. Double lariat spots send both to the mat for a 10 count.

Takeshita is the first one up and he lets out a primal scream to focus on his battle spirit. Will dodges a lariat but can’t flip through the following german suplex. He wobbles to his feet but this time Takeshita takes his head off with a right lariat to the chest. Cover.

Will kicks out but it’s clear he is hurting after that last hit. He gets to his feet only to be met by a knife edge chop to the chest by Takeshita that rocks him to his core. Will however shakes it off and demands another! Konosuke obliges. Will returns the favor with his own. The crush each other’s chest back and forth for a good moment until both men simply run out of arm strength for a few moments. Both their chest show the crimson and purple imprints of the other’s arm,

Will would power up this time and hit a pump kick and the quick kicks to the face of his kneeled opponent. Backdrop suplex by Ospreay who checks on his knee again but shrugs it off ultimately. He goes to the top rope, ill advised of not. Takeshita wisely rolls to the outside. Will doesn’t care and throws himself at him with a diving senton. Takeshita has to take it head on and gets launched into the barricade to add even more damage. Will gets up and pounds his chest and the crowd get to their feet. Superkick by Ospreay. He rolls Takeshita back in the ring. Pinfall.

1
2

Takeshita barely gets a kick out this time after all the damage to the outside. Will signals like he wants to end this. Clubbing blows to the back of a laid out Takeshita. Ospreay goes to the corner and and signals for the end again. He takes off his elbow pad and runs at the back of the head of Takeshita, looking to nail him with Hidden Blade! At the very last moment Takeshita has the sense to partially stand up and catch Ospreay and uses his inertia to spin him in the air for an insane Blue Thunder Bomb counter! Pinfall!

1
2

Will also barely kicks out! Takeshita this time is fired up and signals for the end. He brings Ospreay to his feet and puts him in the powerbomb position and lifts him up high in the air for the last ride! Ospreay desperately punches down and contorts his body to somehow catch Takeshita with a slumdog millionaire! He runs to the ropes and jumps onto them launching him backward! OS CUTTER! Pinfall and surely it’s over here.

2.99!

Ospreay cannot believe it but Takeshita kicks out at the very last possible moment. Ospreay leg is bothering him even more now as he is seen yelling at it and hitting it with his left fist. Takeshita is grabbing at air. Ospreay kicks him a few more times in the face and place his head between his legs and folds his arms in. Storm Breaker time? Will can’t get him over his shoulder and has to let him back down, either through fatigue or the knee tweak earlier. Perhaps even damage from the match and beatdown earlier tonight as well. Double leg by Takeshita flat backs Will. Will uses the momentum to grab on to Takeshita’s arm and monkey flip him into the corner buckle! Cheeky Nandos kick follows shortly after. He rolls him down to the mat and runs at his with the diving forearm strike. Hidden Blade! Another hook of the leg by Ospreay for the pin. Elementary now.

NO!

Takeshita grabbed the bottom rope at the last minute. Ospreay looks like he is about to cry. He had this. That was three! He signals for Storm Break but now Takeshita deadweights and refuses to comply to get to his feet. Ospreay struggles to get him up as his own legs are buckling under him. This is a war.

Takeshita desperately throws a forearm to Will’s face but it doesn’t do much. Will answers with a thunderous one that sends Konosuke to one knee. He gets up again and this time hits a slightly stronger forearm. Will sends him back down with one of his own again. Takeshita screams and hits a massive forearm, absorbs the next three that Will throws at him and clobbers him with a one last forearm. Will dodges the lariat follow up by ducking under and running at the opposing ropes. Os Cutter! Takeshita catches him midair and transitions with a German suplex though! Takeshita grabs him and last ride powebombs Ospreay hard onto the mat! Slow on the cover.

2.99!

Will this time miraculously kicks out. Takeshita manages to get up again and he signals the end. He squares Ospreay up for the flying knee and takes off. Ospreay barely dodges and the encounter with a superkick. Storm breaker attempt.Reversal by Takeshita into a hammerlock lariat. Ducked by Ospreay. Another superkick but Takeshita blocks it away with his forearm spinning Ospreay around! Takeshita grabs his wrists from behind and he’s got Ospreay in a straight jacket! Straight Jacket German by Takeshita. Somehow, someway, Ospreay rotates on his feet and breaks the grip. He loses a few moments to look down as his left knee has taken too much punishment. He falls to one knee. Takeshita squares him up instantly smelling blood in the water. FLYING KNEE TO THE FACE! The young phenom rolls up Will.

It’s finally over.

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita via pinfall - Flying Knee - 28:45

Konosuke falls to the ground exhausted and both men lay there for a while as medical staff checks on them. Takeshita would get to his feet and celebrate on the turnbuckle with the jubilant crowd. What a classic. Ospreay would be left wondering what more he could have done. A bitter end to a stellar journey for the brit superstar.

And there you have it, the end of the night and we now know the finals for the New Japan Cup Finals PPV.

Konosuke Takeshita vs Hiroshi Tanahashi !

See you this weekend folks!

Season One - Episode 015

The NXT Season One playoffs would continue with the third and fourth round of the bracket - the episode would not be live and it was clear that these matches had been recorded ahead of time.

* * * * * * * * * * *

1680027515020.png

Finish: Starboy’s run in the playoff had been impressive - but his contest with Ogogo could be compared to running into a brick wall, with it being evidently clear that Ogogo was a much tougher opponent. The British former boxer would sock Starboy in the face with a perfectly timed Guv'nor's Hammer to claim the victory and book himself a spot in the semi finals.

* * * * * * * * * * *

1680027515050.png

Finish: Shawn Dean would come into the match with a perfect game plan and would neutralize Zenshi by creating distance every time the highflyer made towards the ropes. This would lead to Zenshi moving out of his comfort zone, which would allow Dean to set Zenshi up and smash into him with the Captain’s Volley’ (Slingshot Lariat) to advance.

* * * * * * * * * * *

1680027515076.png

Finish: Ogogo and Reed would feature in an epic contest - with Myron Reed continuing his strong run of form and end the contest by nailing Ogogo with the Skywalker to maintain his undefeated streak and book himself a spot in the Season One final.

* * * * * * * * * * *

1680027515108.png

Finish: Jordan Oliver and Dean would meet each other for the second time of the season, with everyone expecting Oliver to walk away with the win. However, Shawn Dean would have the best performance of his entire career and obliterate Oliver with the Captain’s Volley’ (Slingshot Lariat) to claim the victory and book himself a spot in the final against Myron Reed.

- As the episode came to a close, it was announced by Shane McMaghon that the Season One final between Myron Reed and Shawn Dean would take place at GCW’s Chi-Town Chaos event on the 26th March. Shane would thank everyone for tuning in to NXT - but confirm that as things stood there were no plans for a future season.

Tour Show Four
[Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan] - 15th March, 2022

- The show would open with the Asia Junior Heavyweight Champion Sato standing in the ring, with his belt hanging off his shoulders. Hikaru however, not be in the ring alone as instead he would have Yuki Kamifuku standing next to him with it not being clear whether she was joining him as his ring valet or something a little bit more personal. Sato would call out Mark Haskins from the back - and stand in the ring and wait for Mark and his Crows’ tag team partner BT Gunn to make their way out from the back.

- Sato would say he had no problem challenging people for his title, but that Haskins hadn’t proven himself in singles action and the fact that he hadn’t wrestled in one solo match since signing with the United Japan Wrestling Organization meant he wasn’t willing to just throw out title shots. However - he was willing to offer him a non-title match to kick off the show and if Haskins somehow managed to beat him, then he would lock him in as his opponent at Super Deluxe 2022.

1680029651706.png

Finish: Haskins would seem to be a little bit surprised, by just how sharp and technically skilled Sato was in the ring. Sato would wrap Haskins’ body in knots before bringing him down heavy on the mat with a Snap Suplex before transitioning into an Ankle Lock that would be enough to get Mark to tap out and give Sato the victory.

- After the contest, Sato would have a microphone handed to him by his valet Yuki Kamifuku. Sato would make the point that he wanted to really put on a good account of himself and had been disappointed to receive boos at Champion Carnival and that next week would offer someone else a championship eliminator match.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Ayako Hamada would make her debut as the official UJWO backstage interviewer and speak backstage with one of the newest members of the Junior Heavyweight Division ‘The Mecca’ Brian Johnson. BJ would talk about how much he had enjoyed being part of The Great American Bash and that despite the fact that he failed to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship - his performance had reminded the rest of the world just how capable he was as a wrestler and he was so pleased to have signed a permanent contract and would wish luck to his opponent later on tonight - Senza Volto. Johnson would make the point to Ayako that he had relocated to Japan with the intent of winning title belts.

* * * * * * * * * *

1680029651739.png

Finish: Page and Murdoch would put on a hard hitting contest, with both men no strangers to a more extreme approach to wrestling the fans would be treated to a solid match. Murdoch would claim the win by dropping RSP head first onto a steel chair via a Deep South Destroyer.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Alex Colon would cut an angry and emotional promo in which he would demand to know which coward had attacked him at Champion Carnival and that the longer the mystery aggressor concealed their identity the more angry he would become.

- Colon would find himself being interrupted by Miyu Yamashita. Miyu would state that she agreed that whoever had attacked Colon clearly didn’t have a backbone, but that she was more interested in getting her hands on the Extreme Championship and would suggest that Alex stop moping around like a puss and put his belt up for grabs against her. Colon would chuckle that he was scared of anyone or anything - and that he had been impressed with her performance in the Barbed Wire Death Match. Alex told Miyu to bring her A-game to ring next week at the Shin-Kiba 1st RING because they would go one-on-one, title on the line in a Sadistic Madness match ( the opponent must be bleeding before a wrestler can legally pin them.)

* * * * * * * * * *

1680029651760.png

Finish: Brian Johnson would really impress on his debut and really send a message to the rest of the Junior Heavyweights in the division by making light work of Volto and finishing him off with the DDT-1 to complete the perfect start to his UJWO career.

* * * * * * * * * *

- The Donnas would cut a promo via live feed, with Thekla doing most of the speaking. She would state that herself and Guilia had really enjoyed their time at UJWO and now had the Princess Tag Team Championships to show for their effort and that they fully intended on meeting all their requirements and expectations as champion and fully intended on defending their belts at SDX or any other time it was required of them, but that their first priority would always be New Japan with their sights very firmly set on becoming the Goddess of Stardom Champions as soon as it was possible.

* * * * * * * * * *

1680029651779.png

- Mina Shirakawa would make her UJWO debut and would be flanked by Natsupoi and Vicky Haskins. Mina would announce her intention to come to UJWO to form an extension of the Cosmic Angel and would introduce the new trio as the Shining Seraphs. Mina would make her intentions known that she wanted Vicky and Natsupoi to become future tag team champions, whilst she very much had her eyes locked on Shoko Najajima with the real intention of becoming the the next Princess of Princess Champion and would request that Shoko meet her face to face in the ring next week - because they had important business they needed to discuss, in particularly she needed that title gold shined up really good because she would be taking the gold home with her when they traveled overseas to Dallas at the start of next month.

* * * * * * * * * *

1680029651798.png

Finish: Ram and Nao would have a fairly short contest, with Kaicho quite simply being deadly in the ring and it would take her a long to set up Kakuta with the Kaicho Killer (Rainmaker) to claim the victory and continue to hold on the strap.

- Post-match Ram Kaicho would be joined in the ring by Fukigen Death - with Fukigen beating the crap out of Kakuta in the middle of the ring as Ram would reach for a microphone. Kaicho would say that she was starved of real competition and intended to defend the belt each and every week until she felt truly tested and that perhaps a loser from one of the other promotions would be suited because the majority of the Joshi in this company was trash tier, mid at best.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Mei Suruga and Baliyan Akki would be introduced to the UJWO by Emi Sakura - informing the fans that they were part of her royal court and that tonight they would make their UJWO debut against Daisy Monkey.

1680029651821.png

Finish: BestBros would have a dream debut as they would sweep through Endo & Suzume with relative ease - with Baliyan finishing the match by nailing Arisu Endo with the Crescent Moon, whilst Seruga would prevent Suzume from making the save. Emi Sakura would look very proud of two understudies as she had been watching the match sitting at the commentary table.

* * * * * * * * * *

- Daisuke Sasaki would be backstage talking to the rest of DAMNATION T.A. and he would make it clear to them that they had nothing to worry about and that the unit would remain under his leadership and he would also walk out of Dallas as the new KO-D Openweight Champion. Daisuke would then look at KANON and Nobuhiro Shimati and inform them that he had spoken with Hisaya Imabayashi and that next week the pair of them would face off against New Wrestling Aidoru with the winners of the match set to the challenge for the tag belts at SDX.

* * * * * * * * * *

1680029651843.png

Finish: The first night of the Road To SDX Tour would end with an epic singles match between Kento Miyahara and Jake Lee and would show that despite both men being tag team partners, they were more than capable of slugging it out in a real hard hitting contest. The match would break the twenty minute mark before the contest would end with Miyahara nailing Jake with the Blackout (Bicycle knee strike) to end the match.

- After the epic match - Togi Makabe would make his way out from the back and that he had just clambered off a private jet after winning the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship. And that Kento had never got a chance to reclaim his old prize - so couldn’t think of someone more suitable to challenge him for the belt at Super Deluxe than Kento Miyahara.

- Yuji Hino would emerge from the back and state he was bored of all of this nonsense of the same people getting preferential treatment and that he demanded that he faced Miyahara before any official title shots were handed out.

* * * * * * * * * *

1680029651861.png

- The show would end with a message on the big screen from UJWO’s Event Director Hisaya Imabayashi. Hisaya would inform the fans that next week’s tour show at the Shin-Kiba 1st RING he had four further matches to add to the card.

- The Shining Seraphs (Natsupoi & Vicky Haskins) would team up for the first time to take on Kyoraku Kyomei (Hyper Misao & Moka Miyamoto).

- Imabayashi would then confirm that Hikaru Sato would face off against Izanagi in a Championship eliminator match, whilst Ram Kaicho would defend the International Princess Championship against Banny Oikawa.

- Hisaya would then reveal that Satoshi Kojima had signed an exclusive contract with UJWO and that he would make his debut against Kaito Kiyomiya in next week’s main-event.

Dynamite #128

A bout between four of AEW's top women ensued as Purrazzo and Mone would work as an excellent duo, with Bel Air and Soho being great foils for the Elite Horsewomen. Soho would especially get her time to shine as when push came to shove, she went blow for blow with Mone in an earlier sequence in the contest, ending that series with a brutal Rude Awakening following a Wheelbarrow Bulldog attempt.

Purrazzo would get involved soon after, where it seemed her movements were pompous, trying to stand out as she started to wear down Soho, leading to a back and forth between the two women that saw a Cosa Nostra attempt be reversed into a Rancidplex (Snap Suplex.) From there, Bel Air would make the hot tag in as she would join her opponent at Revolution, Mercedes Mone, in a brawl that witnessed both women stun the crowd with only a short example of what they were capable of.

Mone would manage to escape a KOD, grabbing Bel Air's braid before a Bankrupt (Straight-jacket Neckbreaker Slam) nearly got the fall. This would create some frustration, as Mone would go for a Bank Statement, but Belair reversed it into a gorilla press powerbomb. Bel Air tagged in Soho, who went for the Riot Kick, but Mone barely moved out of the way.

Purrazzo would have snuck out from underneath Bel Air, grabbing her by the foot and yanking her down. Purrazzo would throw Bel Air into the barricade, taking her out and leaving the affair two on one. Soho would fight with all her might, but Mone would kick her into the ropes, allowing Purrazzo to hit that successfully beautiful Bicycle Kick to stun Soho, allowing for a Mone Maker to end the match successfully for the heels!

Winner: Mercedes Mone

- Post-Match would see Mone grab her AEW Women's Championship, yelling at Deonna to drag Bianca Bel Air into the ring. Purrazzo would toss Bel Air in, as Mone began to taunt Bel Air. Mone would get ready to drill her in the head with the gold ... when TONI STORM's music hit! Storm would chase out Mone and Purrazzo, obviously still angry with the Elite Horsewomen. Storm would help up Soho and Bel Air, as the triad stared down Mone and Purrazzo, with Mone having a look of cockiness.

- AJ Styles would be backstage, ready to be interviewed by Tony Schiavone. Schiavone was ask AJ about if he had anyone in mind for the main event tonight, because he's gotten word Kenny's decided his partners for the big 3 vs 3 main event. He would introduce to us, THE GOOD BROTHERS! Anderson would tell AJ they would have his back, being Bullet Club brothers. However, when push comes to shove, this was an AJ vs Kenny issue, and he doesn't want to get involved with the personal beef.

- AJ would tell Karl that if they're going to team together, him and Gallows better do whatever they need to do to win. If that means showing Kenny and his team mates some brutality, so be it. AJ would walk off, leaving Gallows and Anderson conflicted.

A fatal four-way contest between four of the losers of qualifiers. Butcher would show off his massive power early on, tossing Kasai like a ragdoll while Breeze and Hammerstone showed off their impressive skillset. Butcher would very clearly taunt Scherr, utilizing a Running Powerslam onto Breeze for a close fall. Overall, it's not the greatest match in the world but it lets all four men show themselves off to a bigger crowd. Kasai would be taken out with a brutal Butcher Bomb to a table outside, while Butcher would fall to Hammerstone and Breeze hitting a combination Beauty Shot/Brainbuster combo. Breeze and Hammerstone would then fight for the last portion of the match, but Breeze's Unprettier attempt would be reversed into a NIGHTMARE PENDULUM to send HAMMERSTONE TO REVOLUTION!

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone

- Hammerstone would be celebrating as Butcher heads up the ramp, only to be confronted by Adam Scherr. These two monstrous men would have a hulking showdown, with Excalibur confirming that on HOUR ZERO at Revolution, we will get Adam Scherr vs The Butcher!

We would get confirmation that MARCEL BARTHEL has accepted the open challenge. Barthel would come out to a very decent pop, clearly a fan favorite with the AEW crowd. The match would kick off with Dorado and Barthel shaking hands, before Barthel quickly shifted things into his favor with a drag-in uppercut. Marcel would take the early game to his favor, working over Dorado with stiff shots.

Dorado would soon work into an advantage, reversing an attempted elbow shot to the jugular into a snap tiger suplex, pumping up the pace. Dorado would work the ropes, leaping off of them for combination strikes and innovative manuevers such as a rope-walk phoenix splash for a very near two-fall. Barthel would match this pace as well, flying off the ropes to hit with high velocity strikes.

Eventually, Marcel would surprisingly wear down Dorado, reversing a Golden Rewind with an upper-cut to the back of the head. Marcel would begin to smash the head of Dorado, stunning him as Marcel went for a Powerbomb. Barthel would march around the ring, but Dorado would get a second win, hitting a brutal hurricanrana sending Barthel to the outside. Dorado would bound off the ropes ... HITTING A TOPE CON HILO TO WIPE OUT MARCEL!

Dorado's newfound agression benefitted him, striking down Marcel as the pair reentered the ring, allowing him to earn a very near fall with a standing shooting star press. Marcel though wouldn't give up, almost knocking Lince straight out with a Landungsbrücken (Bridging Leg Hook Belly-to-Back Suplex). Lince would barely kick out, as Marcel looked to go for the famed Lotus Lock. But, Dorado would find the momentum to kick away from the hold, before a GOLDEN REWIND sent Marcel to the floor. Lince would scale the ropes ... and a SHOOTING STAR PRESS pushed Marcel to the mat for the THREE COUNT!

Winner: Lince Dorado

- Lince Dorado would be celebrating, grabbing his gut and his TNT title when a certain theme hit. The man who vanquished Jeff Hardy last week, ACE AUSTIN, was here. Ace would grab a mic, before asking Lince if he's really a deserving champion. Lince's not special, Lince's not important, Lince's not even the most relevant CHIKARA veteran on the roster. Ace says while Lince's been facing scraps at the bottom of the barrel, he's defeated an absolute legend in the business and should damn sure be next in line. Lince would grab a mic, telling Ace that if he wants a shot, to meet him at HOUR ZERO for a match! It's confirmed, LINCE DORADO will be defending the TNT Championship against ACE AUSTIN at HOUR ZERO!

A phenomenal cast of women's wrestlers would be up next as all four women looked to punch a ticket for Revolution. Storm would be the obvious star of the contest, getting all the major moments and spots. Valkyrie wouldn't look like a chump though, also getting some insane shine as she took out Kat with a pumphandle suplex to the outside. But, the dominating Rose would wipe out Valkyrie clean, before going in to clean up Storm, who was winded from the save earlier tonight. Rose would dominate Storm, but Toni Time wasn't up, and she was fighting back against Nyla. Eventually, a leaping knee stunned Nyla, allowing a STORM ZERO to put away the Native Beast.

Winner: Toni Storm

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Charles Gable and the Academy of the Alphas would have a pre-recorded segment, of the four working out and training some unnamed indy stars. Gable would say that for years, these four men in the Academy are the pinnacle of wrestling. They are peak physical specimens, and the fact that an immobile Tazz is leading a group of the so-called "Future" is stupid. Gable would send a message to Team Tazz, that at Revolution only one group will be the training ground of the future, and it's not the one the people want ... it's the one the people NEED!

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- We would get a JERICHO APPRECIATION SOCIETY promo next, with Chris Jericho coming in to once again thank the Gunn's for realizing what a legend he is, and how everyone in AEW will appreciate him in any shape or form. Jericho says that if Shingo really has admired him, maybe he'd learn not to mess with the Demo God. Jericho tells Shingo that at Revolution, the past will come back to haunt him. If Shingo admired the lionheart, he'll have to suffer by losing to the LIONHEART! The JAS walk off frame, with Garcia going to the ring. Hager stays back, before yelling into the camera "I LIKE THIS HAT!"

1678751242980.png

Three top tier wrestlers were battling for the final spot in the Face of the Revolution match, as the feuding Garcia and Goto would take on Angelo Gordan of the True Profits. Immediately, Goto would turn the contest to the famed Strong Style as he sweeps out Garcia with a stiff knee strike, before a brutal chopblock stuns Gordan. However, Garcia would adapt to this strong style, using Goto's brutality as a way to checkmate him into a submission hold.

But, the factor of Gordan would haunt Garcia, as he broke up all submission attempts, and even wiped out "Red Death" with a spinning Forearm Strike. Gordan would use this to his advantage, hitting Goto with a cannonball for a very near fall. Goto wouldn't be a chump though, getting his fiery comeback and wiping out Gordan with a Uranagi. As Goto went for the GTR though, Garcia would climb into the ring and LOW BLOW GOTO! Garcia would toss out Gordan, before locking in a Dragon Sleeper onto Goto. Goto would fight hard, but Garcia CINCHED IN THE HOLD, forcing Goto to TAP OUT!

Winner: Daniel Garcia

- Garcia would celebrate, with the rest of the JAS coming out. Hager and the Gunns would hold up Goto, as Jericho prepared the fireball ... BUT SHINGO AND YOSHI-HASHI COME RUNNING DOWN! Shingo and Yoshi would chase off the JAS members, with Shingo managing to grab onto Colten, he would stare down Jericho as he locks COLTEN INTO THE LIONTAMER, forcing the Gunn to tap, sending a huge message to Jericho.

A triple threat between one member of the three teams competing for the AEW tag titles at REVOLUTION! All three men got their time to shine, each one hitting their spots and letting it be a fun affair. However, Shane Haste would get involved, leading to Marq Quen coming out, causing a brawl between TMDK and Private Party. Cash would attempt to take advantage of this with a Piledriver onto Kassidy, but Nicholls would toss Wheeler over the top rope onto Quen and Haste, letting Nicholls take advantage and connect with a brutal Mikey Bomb onto Kassidy for the VICTORY!

Winner: Mikey Nichols

The final FOTR qualifier would see Athena take on Davina Rose, a big opportunity for both women. We learn that both the Elite Horsewomen and Storm, Bel Air, and Soho were banned from ring-side, leaving an even contest between both sides as Athena showed off the fiery passion that has defined her for years. Davina would play it smart in the ring, opting for mindgames over cheating we've previously seen.

This made the match flow a lot better, making it feel closer than ever before as Athena would get a close fall with a short-fire super kick into a Package Powerbomb, almost claiming the final slot. But, Davina wouldn't give up, including bringing back the Bayley-To-Belly for a quick pop. Athena wouldn't get rid of the fire though, stunning Davina as she went for the ECLIPSE!

BUT DAVINA WOULD GRAB ATHENA ON THE WAY DOWN! Athena would be shocked as Davina grabbed her out of nowhere, before being drilled into the mat with a Rose Plant! Davina wouldn't feel satisfied with the end though, opting to hook the arms and locking in a CRIPPLER CROSSFACE, as Athena is forced to tap out!

Winner: Davina Rose

- Davina would refuse to let go until the reinforcements come in, with Soho, Storm, and Bel Air, chasing off Rose, leaving her with Mone and Purrazzo. This weekend, both sides will collide, with huge stakes on the LINE!

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Johnny Dynamite would be seen in a pre-shot segment, backstage at what appears to be a fashion show, getting his make-up done and outfit fit. Dynamite would say how for years, he's gone around the world. He's been Impact, he's been Mundo, he's been Nitro, he's been wrestling personified. He calls Moxley a fraud to wrestling, a plague that can only be cured when he's taken out for good. Dynamite says that if Moxley wants him in a No Holds Barred match, he has him. Dynamite would tell Renee he's sorry she's going to have to go to sleep worrying if her husband will ever walk again once Dynamite is doing with Moxley, officially making the stipulation official.

The main event, and it's revealed with an ENORMOUS pop as the Young Bucks come out, representing New Japan. This is Bullet Club warfare, the finally stop for Revolution as Omega leads his Elite vs Styles' Club. The match is an all-star showcase of all six men, with even Gallows putting on a great showcase. Omega's excellent chemistry with the Bucks hones well with Styles' pure veteran gameplan and Anderson/Gallows unnatural teamwork ability as it's a fast and closely fought contest, with neither side coming close to a clear result.

Styles and Omega wouldn't have many moments where they faced off, to save that for the pay-per-view, allowing their team mates to shine. Yet, when the hot tags were made for the leaders, the crowd grew electric as Styles and Omega finally went at it. Both men would share hockey-strikes, each firing off explosive moves and moments like it was nothing. An Uroshigoshi was matched with a tiger-suplex. A V-Trigger was met with a Pele Kick. Both men were ready to prove why they were deserving of the gold. However, the Bucks would end up tripping up AJ, giving the advantage to Omega. A V-Trigger stunned Styles, who blindly tagged in Anderson.

The match fell to a 3 vs 2 as the Bucks double superkicked Styles head right into the steel steps, allowing the Elite to hit their famous tag team offense onto Anderson. Gallows attempt to get involved was ruined by a Double Super-kick/V-Trigger combo, taking him out. Anderson, realizing he was alone, did his absolute best to fight off all three men. This included a spinebuster to Omega, but he soon fell to the number game. After a Superkick party to him, Omega and the Bucks would hit the BTE TRIGGER onto Anderson, covering him for the victory.

Winners: Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks

- Omega and the Bucks would stand tall, as Omega holds the AEW title in his grasps. He points down at AJ, who's checking on Anderson and Gallows on the outside. This weekend, it all comes to fruition as two former Bullet Club leaders collide, with only one man walking out as the Undisputed AEW Champion.
