BR - entrants were dependent on the Ultimate-X results. In future events Global Championship very much something that will be much earlier on in the card

that makes sense! In that case, maybe I'd have opened to main card with Ultimate X to get the crowd really hot. Extremely small detain and more a matter of personal opinion though, the match was great. Zicky Dice is a fun winner too, I'm a fan of that booking.

The aspect of fan polls - prevent an early match

Episode Two

- The second episode of NJPW World would see the promotion continue their tour of America with the action coming out of the Chase Center in San Francisco. Before the commentary trio could even introduce themselves and welcome them to the show as all the pyro lights in the arena as ‘The Time Is Now’ would begin to play as John Cena would emerge from the back and proceed to the salute the crowd which would result in him being met with a massive pop from the crowd as he would slowly make his way down to the ring clearly enjoying the moment.

F1G4HR6vxbEVyrXpJ8LGEUYkEUxVyvKCYXTmIrzFnrvVYcRxD8UofllvayWT4ms-l522J_G9FtxFw1Vt6Sm86kiF-VmAhIkenKIuKfCyabIXjKxwbQAS1Be6tZQUc-0NvGZeuYWPO54fdL-asw

- Cena would make it clear that making his debut for New Japan at WrestleKingdom had been one for the ages, but he wouldn’t hide the fact that he had been disappointed to have come up short against Ospreay.

- John would make it clear that he had plenty of gas in the tank, and that going forward every match had to matter if he was going to achieve everything he intended to do when he signed with NJPW and that with such a stacked roster there would be no shortages of dream matches and would list Okada, Ibushi and Sting as just a handful of veterans that he wanted to take on in the months and perhaps even years to come - before making it clear that really there was only one match. There was only one dream match that the fans wanted to see - and that was the dream match that he hoped he could give them. He would go on to praise the anonymous opponent and list some vague accolades and look to finish his promo by making it clear that many people would consider this man as The Face that ran New Japan when suddenly ‘GO ACE! GO ACE!’ would start to blast out, much to everyone’s excitement.

- Hiroshi Tanahashi would emerge from the back to a roaring crowd as he would poses on the ramp before having a massive smile on his face before pointing down towards the ring which would respond with Cena looking back towards Hiroshi with an intensity being felt in the - with Kevin Kelly acting very excitement on the commentary desk and would infer that a dream match between both men finally seemed as if it was going to happen with the crowd roaring with excitement as the segment would come to an end.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- The camera would cut to an irate Kevin Owens standing in the Mt. Rushmore locker-room, as he would be flanked on either side by the Young Bucks, with Roderick lacing up his wrestling boots and Brandon Cutler filming on a separate handheld camera. Nigel McGuinness would comment on the fact that Super Dragon was noticeably missing, but dismiss it as likely not being something of any real importance.

- Owens would berate DIY, and describe them as a friendless cowards with psychotic behavior with it being clear that Ciampa and Gargano were a foul stain on the roster. He would expand on this by making it clear that Gargano should be ashamed of himself for the manner in which he and Ciampa had behaved last week and would question him as a parental figure, if this was the example he was trying to set for his newborn child. Owens would go on to make it clear DIY had no class, and that they needed to be taught a lesson.

-Owens would then challenge the duo to face him and the Bucks in a 6-man tag next week - if they were even capable of finding themselves a friend. Nick Jackson would scoff at this idea of either men having any friends now and they may as well quit now and go work for Papa Haitch in Minnesota.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Donna Del Mondo (Guila, Thekla & Syuri) vs. Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Mina & Sky Blue)
y3mZdCJORIMRSxl_5OZdifldawVsKkwt0VkIy1rXFp3FuCZgSrsptDCChTVryJ4gMkn71h5sZFvkEKMf_-zHeATQ3hjrHZNvZe2NmpXUDFwvneEUK9x6ZEfCYyECGfhdLkbwAxYCTXO350CTaQ

Finish: The first match of the evening would be Sky Blue’s first appearance as a member of the Cosmic Angels following a shuffling of members following the pandemic. The match itself would be a decent way to start the show but Donna Del Mondo would simply be too much with Guilia claiming the victory for her squad by hitting Skye with the Glorious Buster (Arm trap Yokosuka cutter) to win the contest.

- After the match, Guilia would take to the microphone and make it clear that going forward Donna Del Mondo was here to slay and they had the intention of coming for all the belts, but that she in particular had her sights on Candice and the Wonder of Stardom Championship.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- DIY would be standing backstage where they would be interviewed by Funaki. Gargano would make it clear that he had been hoping that Owens would stick his nose where it didn’t belong, because he had been hoping he could kick his fat ass too. Ciampa would grab the microphone and making it clear that he was very much looking forward to kicking Matt Jackson’s arse tonight because the beating he had laid down on him last week had only been a taste of things to come - and that sooner enough he and Johnny would be taking away the IWGP Tag Team Championships.

- He would question why Mt. Rushmore were challenging them for matches for next week, when they could fight tonight. They didn’t need HHH help in finding people that would want to kick their ass, before turning to their right - as Kota Ibushi would step into the shot. Kota would look fly as hell as he would smile like a goofball,as Ciampa would remind Kevin that he had done too well the last time he had stepped into the same ring as Kota and tonight would very much go in the same direction.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Samoa Joe vs. Rezar w/ Paul Ellering
3KEM3JLauX9-MfyeVJmhkUs9Wa7f12CCeqV6nxznPaCA38vVN_ZpSf2DejpwOZDYZmjVR20bno1qjttAB9oxzty9EGYuw3ceyp6JIhAzjBbAjPuM9uzZyL5dBjfjBO_Yqy7a9P8zj_CF6sfNZQ

Finish: The match would see Joe beat the absolute shit out of Rezar, with the direction of the match changing for a short while as Ellering would distract the referee long enough for Rezar to have some sort of comeback only for Joe to get right back on the beatdown train that would lead to his locking in the Coquina Clutch and force his foe to tap out.

- JONAH and Akam would come out of the match and begin to surround the ring, with Ellering doing his best to stir Rezar who was on his back. Before the pair could slide into the ring, the Stone Pitbull would emerge from the back and Joe would exit the ring with Ishii and Joe going to battle with Akam and Jonah in a ringside brawl before Ellering would call for the two to make a tactical retreat, with JONAH shouting quite vocally that he would get his revenge.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- MJF is sipping from a martini glass that is filled with Fiji water, with some product placement in shot as Maclin is in the background doing push ups. MJF looks at the camera, but waits for quite a while before he addresses the camera. Maxwell would make it clear that tonight would be a monumental night for him personally in Japan as he would would have a front row seat in watching Maclin tear EVIL apart limb from limb in front of all the dirty smelly hippies right here in one of the biggest dumpster diving cities in the world San Francisco.

- He would then introduce his new personal assistant QT Marshall, who would enter the frame and pour some fresh Fiji water into his glass. Maxwell would fire some shots at Cody Rhodes making it clear that unlike his former best friend who was a slimy, lying, backstabbing piece of crap, he actually valued talent and would give the biggest shit eating grin imaginable as he would look at QT as he did so. He would make it clear that he really hoped that Pip (his previous condescending nickname for Ospreay) was paying attention tonight, because the his brand was all about knowing a real team and that it would be a team that would always have positives in the win’s column and they would sit at the top of New Japan for decades to come and that would all start tonight with Maclin. Suddenly, his cell phone would start to ring and he would say something quite rudely out loud, as QT would usher the camera crew out of the room.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- The tour of Dark Sheik defending the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship would continue, with her showing the rest of the world why she was more than just the Queen of the Deathmatch scene with title defenses at both AEW and TNA show in recent weeks against Aofie Valkyrie and Kay Lee Ray. Sheik would thank Manami Toyota for being here today, before revealing that tonight she would defend the belt against Kidd Bandit and would make it clear that she hoped that tonight would be one of many title defense she would make under a New Japan banner for as long as the she was contractually allowed to work outside of her AAA contract.

Dark Sheik (c) vs. Kidd Bandit

Finish: The match would be an incredibly one sided contest, with Bandit not shying away from the challenge but really being a duck out of water in regards to what Dark Shiek would bring to the contest. ‘Fearless’ though would debut a new signature move as she would lock Kidd Bandit in the Sheik Shooter (Sharpshooter) and force her to tap out leading to a third successive defense of the belt since becoming the champion at Grand Voyage.

- Kento Miyahara the reigning Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion (All Japan Pro Wrestling) would make an appearance in a backstage interview, with it not necessarily being a live moment. Miyahara would make it clear that he would soon be embarking on his World Tour, but that he wasn’t going to disgrace himself in the same way that the former GHC Heavyweight Champion had by losing his title on his first defense outside of his promotion. (a clear dig at Nakajima).

- He would make it clear that he had been informed on the grapevine that next week John Cena would take on Konosuke Takeshita - but that his focus was very much on Konsuke rather than John because he felt that Takeshita would be a great first opponent for him outside of All Japan, but that if Konosuke managed to impress him then perhaps he would be convinced to put his title on the line.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) vs. LFI (Andrade & Tetsuya Naito)
VAyWze4H40JqYEoHmNQildnT_zraT6otXRQeiuXp8vRm7oYzI8g9l9C23rrHIChVqZiqB3ig_k7xLkyrm3GsXWEtv7RydzUVmLkivfFqRUVzYTY_JK8joR-DhXx2q2ds2h8hdyUc9_X_OMIQLQ

Finish: Dante and Darius would continue to push for their first ranked win over the year, this time out doing so as a tag team. (with Dante having lost to Ibushi last week). The match would prove to be a real back and forth event and would break the twenty minute back with a number of high spots that would leave Dante Martin very much looking like a true star in the making. Top Flight though would have to endure the skill and experience that both Andrade and Naito brought to the table that would be somewhat a battle of attrition that would eventually see Dante be overcome by Andrade who would nail him with the Shadow Driver to bring an end to contest and sending a clear that La Faccion Ingobernables were not to be trifled with and they would pose a threat to anyone they took on.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- We would cut to a vignette of the House of Black, that begins with Malakai sitting at a red velvet table and sitting in a grand and complexly carved throne like wooden chair whilst shuffling a tarot deck in his hands. Black would flip the Emperor card and talk about how throughout history all the great emperors have fallen whether it being through their hubris or green. Before making a very vague comment about how the house is always able to spot when the cracks start to form in a crown.

- Malakai would then flip the next card revealing the King of Swords - with Brody King emerging from the shadows and standing to the right of Black. Malakai make it clear that The House had already grown in power by its first King and would making it clear that King’s reign would would see him spread pain and misery like no others, but that tonight he himself would poison the Emperor’s Court and that his empire would he snapped from every corner because “The House always wins!”

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Ahead of the next contest, the commentary team would talk about some of the recent history between Queen’s Quest and STARs, before drawing everyone’s attention to backstage where The Clinic’s Britt had something on her mind. Before Baker could really even begin talking about anything in particular, she would find herself being interrupted by Mickie James - but rather than respond would instead attempt to carry on speaking completely, no selling her - only for James in complete rage to slap Brit across the face that would really gain her attention. Deeb, who had been out of shot, would look to intervene only for Baker to stop her.

- Baker would make it clear that she had expected this sort of behavior from Mickey and that is why she had brought in someone who could be here protege and prove to be a great asset to The Clinic rather than relying on an old relic that had started to collect dust - as Kylinn King would enter to frame and walk into the frame and would tower over Mickie looking down at her. Britt would make it clear that it was too late for apologies for Mickie and that next week she was giving Mickie an ultimatum - that she would face Kylinn next week and that if she lost the match she would be out of The Clinic for good. Mickie would make it clear that she wasn't going to shy away from the match, which would leave Kylinn look delighted but would make the point that Baker was a coward for not fighting her own battles.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Queen’s Quest (Utami Hayashishita & Taya Valkyrie) w/ Io Shirai vs. STARS (Mayu Iwatani & Riho)
Xwquy_wY6pwsgtwU5Rnm4F_WNeIEWR_6uxYfBWip3giGvm171EMcxP3Z1e_8xdPb9L4FrAb3_nFubOfCQXxqqOOkCPTU70PwaNtc0hBgGQcoUxu_SWP9LDWsYsiPAqQeHtZbbpMqH8fxgzmRqQ

Finish: Io Shirai’s entrance would be over a grandiose nature, that would very much overshadow her fellow Queen’s Quest members with it being clear that she wanted to be seen as the star of the show, which was ironic considering who her unit members were facing in tonight’s contest. The match would be wrestler to a high quality and would be very fitting of the classic Joshi strong style. The STARS would actually end up taking an advantage in the contest, only for for a distraction by Taya that would allow Io Shirai would enter the ring illegally and smash her title belt directly in Mayu’s face before Hayashishita would grab hold of her and nail her with the Air Raid Crash to claim the victory. Io would look very pleased with herself and would very much make the post celebration about her, rather than her faction mates who had actually taken part in the contest - with Mayu looking very angry as she was guided backstage by Riho who was looking out for her dazed ally.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- In the gorilla position, Romero would give high praises to his CHAOS stablemates but make it clear that tonight he had control of the situation and was more than capable of handing Malakai alone. Black would have a more elaborate entrance and would be followed to the ring by Brodie King and Buddy Matthews. Halfway down towards the ring Brody and Buddy would smile and share words with Malakai before heading to the back leaving their leader to make the rest of the journey to the ring by himself.

Malakai Black vs. Rocky Romero
5T6kHy6HBkRXJiEDetJHRF3TkCA7fZWlG91xLtjK--eINWR9bw7akc8J3LpYuECAlXWD0fuKOeE12WfXs_zj0sjFPzUGYMK0UKW9nTfsr5a4nuxD-8oE-5qno-MpsDfQdOtQ0OpQrNIngvwldw

Finish: Rocky would bring his normal spunky no quit attitude to another ring, although despite his years of experience it quickly became clear that this was very much a contest between a heavyweight (Black) and a jr. heavyweight (Romero) as Malakai would take the contest to another level as he would utilize precision kicks to wear down Rocky, but rather than finish off the match would actually instead choose to cause his opponent further damage as he would focus on Rocky’s Arm (with suggestions by McGuinness he was sending a clear message to Okada). Black would toy with Romero after hitting him with the Black Out only to stop the pin after two, and continue to target Romero’s arm once more trapping it in place and kicking out the grab out of him before nailing with him a second Black Out and pinning him with it looking as if Romero might have been knocked out in the process, but would continue to beat the crap of Rocky despite the referee doing is best to push Malakai off him.

- The cameras would cut backstage where an all out brawl was taking place between CHAOS and the House of Black who would be joined by YOH and Mysterioso, with Kazuchika finally would break away from the brawl and run towards the ring, but he would be little too late as Rocky was already being attended to by a doctor who was giving him urgent medical attention.

- Okada would give chse, but Malakai would clamber into the crowd and would be laughing as Rocky would be place in a neck brace and placed on a gurney, as Okada would be visibly furious and be cursing in Japanese before walking with the EMTs as they would exit Romero away from the ring.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Hiromu Takahashi would be standing backstage with Funaki, in an interview that would be conducted in Japanese with subtitles being offered for English speaking audiences. Hiromu would make it clear that he needed to get on his horse as soon as possible, and that he was ready to face anyone in the Junior Heavyweight Division, in an open challenge of sorts before marching to the ring with a spring in his step. As he would stand in the ring, his opponent would be revealed as none other than El Desperado (with Mauro Ranallo making the point that it was not known whether or not Despy was part of Minoru’s army now that the faction were working out of TNA).

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Hiromu Takahashi vs. El Desperado
PHJ4TU1tj_DOYG5pJdU1k7ZgYio09rOc1F4bQVi0Kl-78ax8omE9oYCoIk79aSBmS5T1RLtgaHBnREVX1dv43mQhQfEmeSZgWm8Tkwq7NX0Ecz6ITxglk2HUxvxa4BRXDn-mK_MdMB5ACO0PbQ

Finish: The match would be a high speed affair, although Hiromu would be left sour faced as El Desperado would catch his opponent off guard with a forward roll style lucha pin, keeping Takahashi down for the three count, that would leave Hiromu beside himself and clearly massively frustrated as Tetsuya would come out from the back trying to get him to calm down and make it clear that he was part of LFI and he needed to ‘keep things tranquillo’.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Wheeler Yuta would cut a promo making it clear that he was far from pleased with his result to Lee Moriarty aw WrestleKingdom and that it was imperative moving forward that he proved to the worthy of making a name for himself in New Japan as a Junior Heavyweight and that therefore the NWA Jr. Heavyweight Tournament would be a perfect place to prove himself to Kenta Kobashi as being someone worthy of a place on the roster and said he intended to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship and bring the belt back with him to New Japan. Wheeler would make the point that the event might be more than a month away, but he was already getting himself mentally prepared to take on Angelico in the first round of the tournament.

Mt. Rushmore (Kevin Owens & The Young Bucks) vs. DIY & Kota Ibushi
1xjD_vUOVfadxSmZZ3gK8azUBzIffnADmp4UVjy42U8vSJYKailvvFUmHYMZOiYU8BnBPrGE-KR8ZPWlkleER3U27rie9uzpyI3bETqGO7fZWKL_i3prPWLuGz6KSn89I-qE0xk1t6IRx8_S8g

Finish: The contest would prove to a great one, which wasn’t at all surprising considering the quality of men involved in the contest, with Owens and Kota in particularly coming from each others neck that would lead to the pair spilling out of the ring and would end up entering into the crowd as they would continue to fight amongst themselves looking to do some real damage to the other. Brandon Cutler would do his best to offer a distraction, but his involvement would actually backfire as he would end up spraying Matt Jackson in the face with water that would lead to DIY nailing Matt with Meeting in the Middle (Running knee smash (Ciampa) / Superkick (Gargano) combination to a kneeling opponent) to claim the victory. During the same moments, Ibushi would have launched off a balcony on top of Owens with a high impact move that would wipe both men out. DIY would celebrate the victory, and make belt motions with it very clear what their sights were set on.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- EVIL is in a three man huddle with Taiji and El Phantasmo in a rallying talk ahead of their match in a few moments time making it clear that tonight was an important night for the Bullet Club Graveyard and that he intended to remind everyone why he is the Prince of Darkness and would lead the Japanese based talent of the Bullet Club onto its next glorious chapter in New Japan. Ishimori and ELP were clearly hyped as they would throw up the ‘two sweets’ before patting each other’s back and ELP would make it clear that they were BC for life, and that they were going to show Jay White, G.O.D. and anyone else for doubting them and that they would do well to bear witnessed because they were far from being washed.

EVIL w/ Taijiri Ishimori & El Phantasmo vs. Steve Maclin w/ MJF & QT Marshall
-hxPkDA4xap9lv_BTtsPnAzelcwNQzt0-dTVL6ZzJEvDDSC_s-xqGEM1t2Cq2iLhgSJfBx_6U5vnl0rPujf7VFhMbJa5kt_Zbv8WQO8d4jAaiVIDhDn_h4rGrRcGxEA_SO_A7TvDffGTKeDCGw

Finish: Rather than stand at ringside, MJF would end up sitting at the commentary desk with QT acting as Maclin’s second whilst The World Cutest Tag Team would take to EVIL’s corner and show him their support. Maclin would end up surprising EVIL by bringing a level of power to the match that the Prince of Darkness clearly hadn’t been expecting. Both men would utilize heel tactics in what would prove to be a dirty affair, and following a distraction from QT - Maclin would nail him with a blow blow before nailing him with the Olympic Slam in an attempt to finish the match only for EVIL to get his foot on the rope.

MFJ would leave the commentary table and he would shout at QT before the pair would start arguing with ELP and Ishimori, as EVIL would lean over the ropes and tell the pair to forget about it. El Phantasmo has a chair in his hand and he goes to swing at MJF, whilst on the other side of the ring Ishimori and QT had spilled into the ring taking away the referees attention -as Maxwell would duck and the chair shot would end up nailing EVIL in the head instead with ELP looking distraught as MFJ as would burst out laughing as EVIL would be cut in half by a brutal Spear by Maclin to bring an end to the contest in dramatic style.

- ELP and Ishimori would slide into the ring and shock everyone as they would begin to stomp down on EVIL as MFJ would just laugh and clap as QT would be continuing his butler-like role as he would fan down Maxwell. Suddenly two men wearing balaclavas would jump the rails, only for the cameras to focus on them as they would notice they were wearing BC Firing Squad shirts with the men unmasked and revealing themselves as Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa (The Guerrillas of Destiny).

- The two brothers would slide into the ring, that would lead to Maclin, Ishimori and ELP backing up as the pair would reach down to EVIL and help him back up to his feet, with EVIL looking at the two men had came down to the ring with and look furious as he would shout and them before being spun around on his axis by Tanga LOA as the Guerrillas would nail him with the Magic Killer! Everyone in the ring would then begin to start beating the crap out of EVIL, with MJF just looking onwards like a circus conductor.

- The World's Cutest Tag Team would lift EVIL up by the hair as he lay flat on the ground and kick him square in his face with a brutal PK Kick square in his jaw seeming to knock him out cold. MJF would then turn to G.O.D. and hand them both a large wad of cash out of his suit suit pocket as Tama and Tanga wold remove their BC branded shirts and lay them on top of EVIL before flipping them both off and rolling out of the ring making their way towards the back.

-MJF, El Phantasmo, Ishimori, QT Marshall and Maclin would all pose in the middle of the ring and celebrate the new union before Maxwell would stare right into the camera as he would shout “HI JAY! HI PIP! Hope you guys are paying attention now, because The Pinnacle has reached The Pacific!” as the show would come to a conclusion as Kevin Steel would round off some further matches for the fans to look forward to next week at the Oakland Arena.

I think I'm going to push my Lockdown event a few weeks back - and have an Impact Plus style in place first.
