Season One - Episode 002

- Shane would welcome the viewers back to the second episode of NXT, and would confirm that on this week’s episode the first sets of in the Viking Conference would take place this week and would make it clear that just like last episode which Nick Wayne and Jack Cartwheel earn a bonus of $1,000 for ‘Fight of the Night’ that system would continue this week. A graphic would then flash on the screen confirming all eight members of the Viking Conference.

- Shane McMahon would then proceed to thank Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) for raising the value of NXT by starring on a major stage at Honor Reigns Supreme and walking around with the previous NXT Women's’ Championship and that even after his father’s failures - the trio were raising the stock and value of the NXT brand from beyond the grave and would offer the group an open invitation to defend their belts on NXT programming if they so wished, whenever they so wished.

Finish: Starboy Charlie would impress for a man so early into their wrestling career, and would give a good account account of himself - but it would be ‘The Captain’ Shawn Dean who would claim the victory by nailing Starboy with the Crucifix Lungblower to pick up the win.

Finish: It wasn’t that long ago that Ogogo and Comorotto had been taken under QT Marshall’s wing in The Factory - but you wouldn’t have known it from the manner in which both men went at each other with the match proving to be a real chop and slap fest with both men cutting the other down with direction strike attacks. The match would end with a win for Ogogo who would claim so by hitting Comorotto with The Guv'nor's Hammer (Pop-up hook).

Finish: The match would be completely one-sided with Alex Kane obliterating Clearwater in brutal fashion in a number of minutes and would claim the win by connecting with The Mark of Kane (Northern Light Suplex). After the bell, Kane would show his ruthlessness and beat the crap out of Clearwater after the match - and would have to be forcefully removed from Clearwater by half a dozen members of a security team.

Finish: Oliver and Navarro would put on a great match, with it be no surprise when Shane McMahon would announce at the conclusion of the contest that it was the ‘Fight of the Night’ with both men pushing the other to their utmost limit with the match ending when Oliver would nail KC with Sauce Bounce (Leaping Cutter) to claim the victory.

Mason Ryan would appear on a wrestling show for the first time in seven years, and announce that after many years working for Cirque du Soleil he had decided to give professional wrestling a second try and would thank Shane McMahon for allowing him to use NXT as a platform to start anew. The Welshman would make it clear that none of the sixteen entrants of this new season, were worthy of his time - but would instead issue an open challenge for anyone of actual worth and proven experience to be his opponent in a match for the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship and would declare himself as the new champion, reactivating it for the first time in a decade.

Dynamite #120

- AEW had arrived in the nation’s capital, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in DC. Jim Ross would run through the list of scheduled match for the evenings, highlighting the TNT Qualifier between Austin Gee & Jake Lee, Ruby Soho versus Nyla Rose and a highly anticipated contest between Shingo Takagi and Tom Lawlor which were just three of seven matches scheduled to take place on tonight’s great card before bridging to the evening opening contest between Team Taz & The Academy of Alphas.

Finish: The night’s opening contest would be a grueling tag contest, with both teams pushing the other to their limit and not taking any shortcuts in beating the crap out of members of the other team. The contest would come to a finish when Starks would nail Gulak with the Roshambo, whilst Hobbs was battling with Otis on the other side of the ring to flip Drew over and claim the pin-fall victory for Team Taz.

- After the contest, as Gulak and Otis would make their way towards the make, they would be met on the entrance ramp by Charles Gable and Harlem Bravado. Gable would have a microphone in his hand, and make it clear that this proved nothing - because at Beach Break he was coming for HOOK with the intention of ending the young rookie’s undefeated streak.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Danhausen and the rest of Stablehausen (Effy, Allie Katch & Warhorse) would end up running into The Slaughterhouse in the corridors backstage with both sides blocking the other from getting past. The Butcher would make it clear that he hadn’t expected Danhausen or his motley crew to have been standing up so soon after their last beating. Danhausen would responded in his ever dramatic demeanor by CURSING The Butcher and the rest of The Slaughterhouse, but it was clear that

- Stablehausen have a short backstage confrontation with The Slaughterhouse, where Danhausen CURSES The Butcher. The Slaughterhouse don't take this likely as a one-sided brawl ensues. H4RL4ND and Gacy would suddenly charge forward, and begin to beat the crap out of Stablehausen with the pair revealing Telescopic batons from their sleeves and with two quick shots drop Warhorse and Effy with two stiff shots before Andy Williams would charge forward and knock Danhausen and Allie Katch with a double armed lariat dropping the pair to the floor. The Slaughterhouse would proceed to stomp the crap out of the quartet, before walking away with the trio looking very happy with themselves.

Finish: Athena and Viper would end up having an interesting contest, with both women earning their keep and fighting for their spots in the women’s rankings with Viper claiming the win by laying out Athena with the Snake Bite (electric chair facebuster) to pick up the victory and most likely claim her spot on the rankings table.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- In the backstage interview area, The True Profits would be joined by Excalibur. Tez Huracan would make it clear that if FTR really wanted a shot at their titles, then so be - and that they should Fear The Profits because next week Dax and Cash would lose their value forever.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

Finish: Cardona and Yoshi would be involved in a decent enough contest, until Myers would make his presence known at ringside which would lead to him distracting the referee and Cardona kicking Tatsu in the groin before hitting the Radio Silence to win the contest.

- Yoshi-Tatsu would be on the wrong end of a post-match attack from The Major Players, but the pair would be forced to clear the ring as Bronson Rochsteiner would make his way from the back and come to Yoshi’s aid. It was more clear that Bronson was more focused with Cardona and Myers, rather than because he was actually concerned about Tatsu’s welfare.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Aoife Valkyrie would come out from the back and cut a promo from the ring. The Irish wrestler would make it clear that an opportunity had presented itself that she could not turn away from. A chance to battle for the prestigious Reina de Reinas Championship, and had answered Sheik’s call to become the first person to challenge her for the belt and intended to use this evening’s contest to rubber stamp her name down as one of the future greats in this business.

Finish: Dark Sheik and Aofie would put on an entertaining contest, in what would potentially see a future partnership between AEW and the new version of AAA. Valkyrie would put on a great account of herself, but it would be Sheik who would pull through and claim the victory and successfully defend her title by hitting her opponent with the Shia Crescent.

- Sheik would grab the microphone post-match and make it clear that she was more than pleased to continue defending her championship on AEW or any of the other promotions around the world, because the results would be the same.

Finish: Lawlor and Takagi would have the best match of the night so far, with both men pushing the other to their utmost limit. Takagi and Lawlor would show why they were two of the most under-rated heavyweight talents on the roster, with the match ending with Lawlor locking Shingo in the Koji Clutch and forcing him to tap out.

- After the match before Lawlor could even enjoy his victory, Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia would emerge from the back microphone in hand and begin to speak down at Takagi and make fun of a man who had his name in New Japan and yet was losing to some MMA reject. Shingo wouldn’t take anymore of the insults as he would exit the ring and meet the Jericho Appreciation Society head on, in what would quickly turn into a two-on-one assault. Jericho and Garcia would be quick to flee the fight though, as soon as Hirooki Goto would emerge from the back and surprise everyone by coming to Takagi’s aid.

- Stevie Richards would make his way out from the back, whilst Tom Lawlor was still present at ringside with Richards inviting Lawlor to join him in the ring. Richards would make it clear despite being in his 50th year on this plane, he had no intention of hanging up his boots anytime soon and that after a conversation with Chris Van Vliet he was officially the man who would challenge Lawlor for the NWA National Championship at The Great American Bash. Richards would make it clear that he had a lot of respect for Lawlor, and couldn’t think of a better opponent to test himself again and prove to the world that he still had what it took to battle with some of the best in the business.

Finish: Rose and Soho would beat the crap out of each other in the ring, with it being clear that there was no love lost between either Soho or Rose. Both women would push each other to their limit, with Ruby ending the match by crunching Nyla with the Soho Kick (Wind-up overhead kick) to claim the victory.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Johnny Dynamite would cut a promo backstage, and make it clear that he was the man most deserving of getting a shot at Kenny Omega, and with a victory over Jon Moxley he already had a track record that meant he was capable of beating those who had won the promotion’s big belt. Johnny would make the point that Moxley and Shota were nowhere to be seen, and that the duo were clearly running scared from himself and T-Breeze. Johnny would make it clear that there was no one else on this roster could stand toe-to-toe with him and claim to be more worthy than him of being Omega’s rightful number one contender.

- AJ would interrupt Johnny and make it clear he didn’t understand why he thought he was more deserving than anyone else - especially when he was standing next to the ‘Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles. Styles would make it clear that there was no way he was going to let Johnny face Omega, he would have to beat him first. The tensions between both men were clear, but before any sort of physical confrontation could take place the pair would be interrupted by General Manager William Regal.

- Regal would confirm that next week Johnny Dynamite would take on AJ Styles in a number one contender’s match - and that the winner would face Kenny Omega at Beach Break on February 9th at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Finish: Austin and Lee would feature in the evening’s main-event with the pair going to battle with the intention of joining already qualified Cardona and Dorado in the Ladder match for the vacant TNT Championship at Beach Break. It would be the former AJPW star who would pick up the victory and claim the win via the D4C (Delayed vertical drop brainbuster) in what would no doubt be one of Austin Gunn’s best singles performances despite his loss.

- Toni Storm would address the fans and make it clear that her win over Davina Rose had proven the entire women’s locker-room that she was the toughest bitch of the block and she was willing to do whatever it took to become the next Women’s Champion and wasn’t afraid of putting her own body on the line in order to get the job done. And that if Mercedes had any self respect, she would come out from the back and stand across from her in the ring.

- Mercedes would emerge from the back and make it clear that Toni victory last week proved nothing, and that as much as Davina was one of her best friends - she was ‘THE STAR’ of AEW and she was the person that Toni would have to prove herself against before she started making claim in regards to how tough she was in the ring. Mercedes would make it clear that if it was a fight she wanted then it was a fight she was going to get. And that the gloves would come off at Beach Break, and she would be happy to put her title on the line - if only to shut Toni up and remind the rest of the roster who the top dog was ‘THE BOSS’ Mercedes Banks.

- Mercedes would offer Toni her hand, as a clear indication that the pair would go to war only for Deonna Purrazzo and Davina Rose (wearing a neck brace) would slide into the ring and proceed to beat the crap out of Toni in a three on one assault in the middle of the ring with Toni simply unable to defend herself.

- Cameras would cut backstage to footage of Nyla Rose and Ruby Soho fighting in the women’s locker-room, whilst in another area backstage Bianca Bel Air was laid out cold and being attended to by backstage medical staff.

- We would return to the ring where Deonna and Davina were restraining Toni’s arm behind her back, as Mercedes would have a wicked smile on her face as she would charge forward and smash the AEW Women’s Championship straight into Storm’s face busting her wide open. Mercedes would have a wicked smile on her face as she would reach down, wipe the blood from Toni’s face and spread it upon her own before turning to the camera and having a manic smile across her face before shouting ‘I AM THE BOSS’ into the camera as the show would come to an end.

Impact #911

- Don West and Mike Tenay would welcome viewers to The Factory live from Dallas, Texas. The pair would make it clear how excited they were not only for tonight’s episode of Impact, but also for the first pay per view of the year for company and the first one produced under the branding of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling since Bound For Glory 2016 - which had been headline by Lashley defending and retaining his TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a No Holds Barred Match against Ethan Carter III. The duo would make it clear that they hoped that Destination-X would once again remind the rest of the world that TNA was the best wrestling company in the world.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Becky would wait in the ring with Max the Impaler, and cut a short promo. ‘The Lass Kicker’ would make clear that this Saturday she was looking forward to wiping the floor with Rosa and retaining her Knockout’s Championship, and that tonight would just be a sample of things to come. Lynch would make it clear that it didn’t matter who Rosa selected as her partner because no one would be a match for Max.

- Thunder’s music would play throughout the arena - but with Max and Becky looking towards the back, Paige VanZant would slide into the ring and blindside Max with a suckerpunch that would reveal herself as Rosa’s partner and make her TNA debut at the same time, with the Dallas fan showing their excitement in regards to PVZ coming a fully fledged member of the roster.

qagiABV.png

Finish: There was no denying that Max the Impaler was an immovable object, and Thunder and Paige were forced to work together to suppress Max when they were the legal participant in the contest. Eventually, though, Becky would be forced to actually tag in and compete and would end up being nailed with tandem dropkicks - before PVZ would nail Becky with a Discus Elbow Smash to pick up the victory.

- After the match, VanZant and Rosa would be standing in the middle of the ring looking very pleased with themselves as a groggy looking Lynch would try to sit up in the corner of the ring looking far from pleased as she would wear a sour look on her face. Before anyone realized what was going on, a hooded figure wearing a hockey would jumped the barricade and slid into the ring and would absolutely clatter PVZ in the back of a head with a police issue nightstick before hauling her up onto her feet and laying her out with a Reverse Kata-Guruma (Spinning Samoan Drop) before dropping her visage and revealing herself as none other than Ronda Rounsey.

- As soon as the attack had begun, Lynch would direct traffic as Max would slide back into the ring and grab Rosa around the neck and proceed to choke her out until her arms start going limp - before Lynch would claim the glory for herself and wipe out Thunder with The Mandhandle Slam (Pumphandle Uranage) before picking up her Knockouts Championship and having a beaming smile across her face before heading towards the back.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- The cameras cut to backstage, where Matt Riddle would offer a response to Willie Mack’s challenge last week. Riddle would make it clear that he didn’t really understand why Willie had any problems with him and that he thought Willie was a good dude, but he wasn’t someone to turn down a fight and so he was more than happy to have a match with him at the PPV - but just hoped that at the end of the match they would be able to shake hands and share a drink in the back afterwards.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Footage from earlier in the evening showing recently crowned TNA World Heavyweight Champion Josh Alexander arrived at The Factory, with his title belt very much in his possession. Alexander made it clear to the cameras he would speak in the ring later tonight.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- The Good Brothers would appear on TNA for the first time of the new year, despite being the promotion’s tag team champions as they would be interviewed backstage by Renee. Karl Anderson would inform the Texas crowd that it was The Bullet Club who were now once again in possession of the TNA World Tag Team Championships without ever having left the hands of The Good Brothers and that is because himself and Gallows were “too sweet.” Anderson would confirm that himself and Doc would not be competing at Destination-X, and would make it quite simple that as things stood there was not one single team in TNA that had earned the right to challenge them for their titles but that after speaking with Rockstar Spud had some to arrangement to face the winner of a number one contender’s match that would take place at this weekend’s PPV.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

ZUt3uU7.png

Finish: Jurassic Express were not prepared for the ferocity that Suzuki and ZSJ brought to the table, with both members of Suzuki-gun for the second week in a row handing out a brutal beating with ‘The Murder Grampa’ ending the contest by nailing Jungle Boy with the Gotch-Style Piledriver to earn a spot in the number one contender’s match. Zack and Minoru would both look very pleased with themselves as they would celebrate their win in quite a subdued manner before returning to the back.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

uCS5Bx6.png

- Kamille would be dressed smartly in the ring and would be joined by Nick Aldis in the ring, with the both of them sporting their respective NWA World Championships. Kamille would confirm that at Destination-X she would defend that NWA Women’s Championship in what would undoubtedly be the superior match of the night involving women - a clear shot in the direction of the Knockouts Championship match between Thunder Rosa and Becky Lynch. Kamille would make it clear that herself and Nick were strictly business and therefore she had chosen the opponent that she felt would offer her the biggest challenge and therefore create the best possible match at the PPV and thus win her favor amongst TNA management. The Brickhouse would then proceed to reveal that he challenger would be none other than Jade Cargill, and was relishing the opportunity to put the loud mouthed rookie in her place and teach her an important lesson that rather it being greener on the other side, it was always greenest in a rookie’s training gym.

- LA Knight would end up coming out from the back and interrupt Kamille, but make it clear that he had come out to speak to Nick. Knight would make it clear that he didn’t know what deal Aldis had connected with the Miz last week - but he had stolen his place in the Ultimate-X match and that once he was finished with The Miz, Nick would be next on his list. Aldis would make it clear that he had nothing to do with whatever Maryse and The Miz had done last week, but only an idiot wouldn’t take advantage of the situation. Aldis would make it clear though, that he hoped Knight beat the Miz at Destination-X because then he would actually be able to potentially consider him as a possible challenger for ‘The Ten Pounds of Gold’.

- LA whilst listening to Aldis, would be unaware that Maryse had crawled up towards him and nail him with a low blow before The Miz would grab hold of him and wipe him out onto the mainstage with the Skull-Crushing Finale before he and his wife would laugh their asses off and heading towards the back.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Roman Reigns would appear in another pre-taped segment, and he would talk about the importance of being a valued commodity and that he wasn’t going to make his debut in a throwaway match - but rather was only going to face an opponent that he knew was worthy of his time. But also he wanted to face someone that he had never faced before, before name dropping ‘Hangman’ Page’s name. Roman would drop the caveat though, that he would only face ‘Hangman’ if he was able to beat a wrestler who he knew was capable of winning big money matches. Before announcing that at Destination-X Page would have to prove himself against Roman’s selection Sheamus.

- | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | -

- Footage would appear of Moose arguing backstage in the office of General Manager Rockstar Spud, with Moose getting angry and slamming the door shut preventing the camera crew from filming the conversation.

Finish: Juice Robinson w/ David Finlay in his corner had officially signed some sort of contract with TNA earlier in the week. Both Robinson and Swann would feature in a standout great contest, with both men putting on a stellar contest that would certainly raise both men’s stock. It would be Robinson who would win the match cleanly, by hitting The Juice Is Loose (Front Facelock Driver) to win the match. There would still be some confusion in regards to how FinnJuice would operate moving forward, with Juice now officially a member of the Bullet Club.

- Beer Money Inc. (James Storm & Robert Roode) would cut an angry and passionate promo in the ring, with Roode doing most of the talking. He would out his frustration that he and Storm hadn’t been even considered as one of the teams involved in the sets of matches taking place tonight to be part of the contenders match for the TNA tag titles at Destination-X and that they had been massively insulted especially considering they were one of the most successfully tag teams in TNA history, with James Storm being a fourteen time tag champion whilst working for TNA. Storm would then grab the microphone and demand that Rockstar Spud come out from the back and give them some answers.

- Spud would appear on the titantron screen, and apologies for the confusion - but the reason that Beer Money Inc. hadn’t been involved in the contenders matches, was because they had already been booked in a match at Destination-X. Storm would look confused, as music would begin to play through The Factory. Stepping out from the back would emerge Los Ingobernables de Azteca (LFIA) with Dragon Lee & Dralistico stepping out from the back with the AAA World Tag Team Championships wrapped around their shoulders, with Kenny King and Amy Rose right behind them.

- Dragon Lee would reveal that this weekend Beer Money Inc. were going to have to prove themselves against a real tag team and would have the chance to win the most important tag team titles belts this coming weekend in what would be the first chapter in LFIA taking over America. Roode and Storm would look at each other, before making it clear that they were looking forward to bursting LFIA’s bubble and raining down on their parade to once again prove themselves as the best tag team in the world.

- Amy Rose then would speak on behalf of Kenny King, and introduce the fans to Los Ingobernables de Azteca’s American Ambassador Kenny King and make it clear that Kenny was being given the chance to run his own chapter on TNA with the intent of recruiting more soldiers to the cause, before giving the mike to King. King would issue a challenge to Swerve and make it clear that at Destination-X he planned on showing the world - that TNA was La Casa de Ingobernables and could think of a better person to make an example of live on pay per view.

Finish: The Motor City Machine Guns and SoCal Uncensored would put on a much more competitive contest than the night’s earlier tag contest with both teams really pushing the other to their limit with both teams having multiple chances of winning and earning their place on the Destination-X card. The breakthrough would come when Kazarian would fail to tag in Scorpio Sky, and instead get pulled backwards by Shelley that would allow him to nail his foe with Sliced Bread #2 and pick up the win for MCMG.

- Sabin and Shelley would celebrate the victory and Sabin would reach for the microphone, only for all three members of SCU to slide into ring wielding steel chairs and unleash a brutal beating down on the Guns dropping them pretty quickly and repeating to him whilst they were down shot after shot. To everyone’s shock Edge and Christian would sprint out from the back with clear intention of coming to MCMG’s aid and manage to relieve SCU of their chairs and toss them out of the ring, but with Sabin and Shelley down - SCU would still have a numbers advantage with the veterans clearly on the backfoot.

- Out from the back would sprint out Jurassic Express, and with the numbers greatly against them SoCal Uncensored would exit the ring and flee towards the back as Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus would help Sabin and Shelley back to their feet, as Christian would demand a microphone. Christian would make it clear that SCU weren’t going to just run away from this, with repercussions and would challenge the trio to face himself, Edge and Jungle Boy in a 6-Man Tag Team contest at the PPV.

Finish: The match would prove to be a fantastic Lucha Style Trios Match with the fans getting a small preview of things to come from this weekend’s Ultimate-X match for the X-Division with the fans being treated to absolute chaos in what was without a doubt the best match of the evening with Aldis claiming the win for his team by nailing Ziggler with the MDD before Amazing Red would springboard off the ropes with the Infrared to bring the match to an end.

- Josh Alexander would come out from the back with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in his possession following his victory at Honor Reigns Supreme and would be joined in the ring by General Manager Rockstar Spud. Spud would formally request that PAC come out from the back, to officially hand in the X-Division title and enact on ‘Option-C’.

- PAC would make his way out from the back and cut a short promo about how much he had enjoyed his tenure as the X-Division champion, but that this weekend he was going to truly elevate his status not just in TNA but around the world as he would finally win his first world championship belt and would make the point that his time as the NXT Championship and the Open the Dream Gate Championship had both men high points in his career - but that winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship would be a crowning moment in his career.

- Alexander would make a point that he was very much relishing the chance to go one on one with PAC and that he couldn’t think of a better man to challenge him for his title. Before anything else could be said “Bust Some Heads” (Moose’s entrance music) would begin to play and Moose would make his way from the back and demand that he be granted his contractual rematch for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship only to be informed by Rockstar Spud that the only way he was getting involved in the match this weekend was if both PAC and Alexander agreed to it.

- Alexander would make it clear that just like he had said on ROH: Elite earlier this week, he would never turn down a challenge and he was more than willing to make the contest a Triple Threat match - but that decision was up to PAC and no one else.

- PAC would make it clear that he was no coward, and that he really didn’t have any choice but to accept Moose as a third man into the contest but would make it clear that no matter who won the contest - he would do everything in his power to make sure it was Moose who was the man that lost the contest on his back for the three count or tapping out to a submission. Because this was the only ending that would make it clear to the rest of the world that Moose was no longer worthy of challenging for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and fans of TNA around the world would finally no longer have to put up with Moose’s bullshit any longer.

- PAC and Josh Alexander would shake hands in the middle of the ring and wish each other luck, whilst Moose would just look frustrated and motivated as he would stare down both men in the ring.
