Your problem is if you pit now your C1s may not last until when you wanted to change to those soft C3s I believe? I'm learning a lot about tires and racing during this

Which should let me go as long as each tire will let me, with me having a few extra laps at the end.

Race Update Three:

Lap 38-50

- For the first three laps under the caution Senna would visit the pits for a mandatory stop and have work done to his chassis as well as changing his tyres compounds to a set of C2s, with it seeming as if Ayrton would now complete the race on a three stop strategy. The rest of the field would maintain pace behind the safety car, before the field would be given a chance to unlap itself by two laps as stated by the yellow flag ruling. This would put Jackie Stewart into 2nd place (one lap down), Junior in 3rd and Senna into 4th (two laps down) and Tony Stewart still at the back (but now only seven laps down). The race would then restart at the start of the 43 lap.

- Both Senior and Junior had chosen stay out rather than pit, which meant that they were both left with no choice but to pit after just one lap after the green flag was waved to come straight into the pits at the end of Lap 43, with both drivers hoping for a quick pits stop, which would see father and son change onto the harder C1 compound. Senior would have to hope to fast tyre change without any mistakes, otherwise he ran the risk of losing the lead for the first time since the race had begun.

- Senior would pull into his pit box and his BMW pit crew would manage to change his tyres with the fastest time of the weekend at 8 seconds. Senior would exit the pits though, Jackie Stewart would still remain a lap down on the overall leader who had pitted and kept the lead and thus pulled off an excellent pit strategy of coming in after the yellow caution period.

- Junior would also have a relatively quick tyre change seeming to be on the exact same strategy as his father, just a few laps behind him on the track getting a time of 11 seconds. As he would come out of the pit lane, but Junior would find himself being overtaken by Senna whilst he was just exiting the pit lane meaning what had worked for the father, had not been so suited for the son.

- The drivers would start to show a bit of pace on their new tyres with Jackie and Ayrton benefitting from the pace given by the C2s, whilst the Earnhardts were benefiting from the reliability of the hard C1 compound during what was very much their middle stint, whilst Tony Stewart still hadn’t come into the pit but was still at the back of the pack.

LAP 50 INCIDENT!

- Senna and Tony Stewart would have a massive collision at corner three, and it looked as if Tony had come off much better out of the pair as his damage only looked superficial. However, Senna car looked like it had taken the brunt of the impact as his Audi had been sandwiched between Stewart’s Mazda and the barriers. This incident would result in the third caution of the day being called in what was proving to be a chaotic race in Argentina.

- @Chris Kringle because of the incident you have a mandatory pitstop. [you're team inform you that they can do their best to fix their car, but that if you take further damage this race weekend it might effect the car's overall durability at the next race at Watkins Glen - there is an option in which you can retire the car, if you so wish.]

- @Chuck Bass & @A Mitchmas Story you have both recently pitted, and your pit crews advice you to just stay out [would you like to alter you're strategy?]

- Jackie Stewart decided he will stay out.

- @Shania Twain your pit crew inform you that whilst under this caution any benefits from this current set of C1s have now been neutralised, and advice you that changing your tyres would prevent anytime being lost. [would you like to alter you're strategy?]
