I still rate Benoit highly myself and don't have much of an issue watching his matches anymore, that took a bit tho. I don't have any urge to defend him tho and don't really care if someone can't separate what he did, that's definitely fair. I’m not even someone against separating the art from the artist, but I think murdering your own baby is where I draw the line. It also doesn’t help that he didn’t have much of a character to latch onto. A decent suplex and submission machine, but didn’t have a story to tell beyond that in most of his run.
