Well since Phil Jackson's book is coming out and he basically gave the nod to Jordan in every category. Even read a article where he said he would choose Bill Russell over anyone to start his fantasy team. What place does Jordan have and is LeBron as good or better?

I will give my opinion later.

Jordan's the greatest of all time, and always will be. His accolades speak for themselves.

End of story.

You can say that but I believe Lebrons numbers at his age are higher than Jordan's. I also tend to agree with your argument that Jordan is the greatest and here are my reasons for it.

1. Jordan stayed with one team and helped his own teammates around him become a better player.
2. His drive to be great and victorious is something that is lacked in the league today
3. He had a team and teams devise ways to stop him "the Jordan Rules"
4. When Jordan played the game it was more physical and hand checking was allowed back then. For those who have no clue to what that is the defender could put their hands on the hips and back of the player. This also made it harder to score, but Jordan made it look easy.
5. Jordan embraced his leadership role and never backed down even playing with flu like symptoms to win.

Those are my arguments on the matter so far which none of those have I seen Lebron do or embrace. He might be more athletic and have great gifts but I feel like Jordan would smoke him plus Jordan was a decent defender in his own right. I still think the Bulls teams of the 90's with Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman would beat the heat and I think Rodman would get Lebron rattled to where he would not know what to do.

Keeping the bold part in mind, he most certainly does have the potential to. But than again.. look at Kobe.

The leadership fact also has a lot to do with that as well, at the end of the day you're a team and you're only as good as the people you're with. The 90s bull would blow the Miami Heat out of the water but if time keeps on going in the direction it's going, we could see Lebron top Jordan.. definitely capable.

I would still take Kobe over Lebron based upon Leadership ability. I still think the Lakers would have fared better in the playoff with Kobe rather than without him. Kobe might not be able to help his team mates look and play better like Jordan but he has way more Leadership qualities than a mentally broken down Lebron.

Oh plus Lebron never had this as a commercial:

Jordan is the man, he always will be.

If you asked somebody in Britain to name a Basketball player, they would probably say Michael Jordan, unless they were a big basketball fan.

LeBron is obviously an incredible player, but I'd say Jordan pips him.

I think a LeBron/Kobe comparison would be better.
